Man, jigglypuff has had the worst turn of events in smash history
Noob Arts they pretty much ruined rest and deceptive hitboxes.

Because you can't fix Zelda without a flat-out rework. Nothing of hers works. She's got like 3 combos, and that's all she has to her name.
Hopefully Zelda in Smash 5 gets a rework to make her more like BotW Zelda (and also to make her better).
I despise whoever thought it was a good idea to make Jigglypuff's Sing blockable to shields and even capable of getting counterattacked by everyone's counters. On top of that, she's now the only character who has a final smash that can harm and KO your own teammates regardless of team attack which results in penalty suicides.

Funny story: Jiggs was originally scrapped in brawl. Normally he would have been cut but after a delay to program in sonic, sakurai decided to create T. Link, wolf and our favorite balloon pokemon. This might explain the weird changes

I'm glad this was finally made, this was a series i wanted for awhile. It would be cool if you covered pm though as well as that had an active competitive scene that varied from the other games
And with this series suddenly your channel grew from "I like it" to "I love it" in my ranking. Smash is next to Pokemon in my fav stuff to learn and play, so it's amazing there's a whole channel dedicated to both!

Hey false, I'm already a competitive melee player so all the lingo and players are common knowledge for me, but for alot of new viewers or others who are unfamiliar with the smash community or haven't played a game at would completely be left in the dust with everything. I love the transition 100% but I would maybe explain some tech or lingo when it comes up. It just makes explaining smash more user friendly. Keep it up though love the content!!
But on the other hand they also did not explain much in their Pokemon videos, it would break the fast paced flow of their videos, but they could make a seperate series where they would explain the game mechanics of games like Smash and other games, that are topics of their videos.

There are plenty of videos out there to learn the basics of smash (ie izaw's smash's videos) as well as the many advanced techniques in melee on SSBMTutorials
I hesitated clicking on this video for a long time, and I don't know what I was put off by. The same deep and reasoned historical analysis, in a different game I like. Can't wait for more!

Body slam, solar beam, dazzling gleam, fire blast, etc
So many potentially great moveset and what does she have?
Pound, sing, rollout, and rest
All horrible moves especially when you compare it to what other characters have.
NO! They need to keep rest.
Rest is just a staple and a hype move.
Rest setups are awesome.
I feel like solar beam would be worse than rollout since you would need to charge it more.
I don't understand Dazzling gleam or fire blast either those 2 just seem random but bodyslam could be something.
You're mostly putting in the "Op, bada**, awesome looking, amazing to watch, best" moves that Pokemon can have and just slap them onto Jiggs and think of it like a massive buff.
Putting in moves that seem like the coolest or the most bada** automatically won't make Jiggs any better. It would literally just be a visual update.
Pound and Rest are fine - they just need to be buffed so pound can break shield easier like Marth or Ryu, and can also land into rest.
Sing is just a weak gimmick that won't really be ever used... But needs to be kept since its a staple to Jiggs' character.
oh and make rest kill better.

Sad what they did to the Puff. I used to play as Jigglypuff in Melee, when people thought she was bad. They don't even have the green headband anymore...
Considering that Sakurai hates competitive smash, I'm not surprised at all at how much Melee's top tiers are getting nerfed. Especially taking the headband, an iconic melee skin for puff. Makes me wish PM was til a thing.
