I stopped eating there because of this issue. I am not paying 12 to 20 dollars for a mini bowl. I go to actual Mexican restaurants it’s cheaper and much better. 2 street tacos, a big bowl and nachos with queso dip with a coke and tip is 23 dollars and I don’t blow up my toilet when I get home.

They already have something like that called the kids meal and I get it every time I go because the price is decent and portions aren’t that bad. I fill up my two tacos as much as possible and once I’m done I scoop out and mix whatever spilled or all the leftover toppings and eat it like a mini bowl.

It's because everyone who's using recording the workers that these measures are being used. On top of that the workers being recorded is a form of harassment since the workers are being forced to give the customers the right of way to do what they want instead of being considerate of what the workers have to already do.
Going corporate is the death null for restaurants. Share holders want an increasing return on their investment… eventually the restaurant has to start cutting costs somewhere. Growth/expansion in that industry can only sustain that return rate for so long.
The thing Chipotle fails to realize is that when somebody has been going to a particular restaurant for a number of years they know what size the portions should be, when the portion sizes get smaller, people notice, and when the portion sizes get smaller but the prices stay the same, people notice that too, and instead of complaining to corporate, they'll just expose it online, people wouldn't have to pull their phones out and record Chipotle if Chipotle would just give appropriate portion sizes for the prices they charge, this isn't rocket science

So he said to do one squeeze, when I was leaving it was down to half a squeeze. Shrinkflation is so dam annoying. Before you'd get 8 nuggets, then it went to 6 and the price went up. Before we'd give 3 pieces of bacon for 0.50, then it went to 0.80 for 2 pieces
