I work counter service (sandwich shop which shall not be named, not chipotle) and this is the way. As a customer, if you're nice to me you bet i am giving you a little extra of everything and making that sandwich with CARE. If you suck, youre getting the bare minimum possible while still following the portion guidelines and i'm not taking extra time to make sure the bread is cut evenly or that no pepper stems accidentally got in the sandwich when u asked for jalapenos. You'll still get what you ordered, but i'm not going above and beyond for someone who treats me like garbage. Thankfully most of our customers are actually great & i take pride in serving them. Pro tip: if a customer is visibly pregnant and asks for pickles, they mean extra pickles. If they ask for extra pickles, they mean "as much as you can give me without getting in trouble". They will greatly appreciate this.
