- Jerk delves into the history of Disney's relationship with ABC in this introductory episode of Some Jerk With A Camera's massive retrospective of all the ABC sitcoms that went to Disney World in the mid-'90s.
DISCLAIMER: This video, like every video on this channel, is intended only for mature audiences. While the topic at hand is a form of media commonly associated with small children, the purpose of this video is to present a mixture of analysis and comedy about said media from a distinctly adult perspective, which may possibly include profane language and references to sex, drugs and/or violence. RUclips, like many websites, collects personal data on its users. The Child Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) has made it illegal to collect personal data on children younger than 13, and rather than fix their own algorithm, RUclips is essentially threatening to pass the blame onto content creators whose work may seem "attractive" to children. For these reasons, the producers of this video feel compelled to state, in no uncertain terms, that if you allow a child under 13 years old to watch this RUclips channel, you are a bad parent or guardian.

I'm a sucker for a good Eisner joke and "A former ABC executive named 'oh god him again"" might just be the best one ever, I'm friggin dying over here
That should be Defunctland's catchphrase.
@@kylemorello4787 It wasn't?
"I learned exactly why God kills people!" Words can't express how hard I laughed at this.
The amalgamation of all the theme songs gave me "Too Many Cooks" vibes...I Love IT!
Would you believe this video actually came out before that?
"I'm getting uncomfortable...it's getting too smart!"
No, it just likes to PRETEND that it is.
That’s why it’s uncomfortable.
That clusterfuck of ABC opening themes always fills me with a disgusting sense of Nostalgia.
what a pain, though.
7:12 "It's too smart" Hahaha, oh Jerk, if only you knew....
...if only you knew what fresh nightmares lay in store for you 😉
I’m rewatching these abc reviews because WandaVision has gotten me too excited about sitcoms
Some Jerk With A Camera: Creator of Too Many Cooks.
XD i died of giggling
+Jacob Hill I am VERY glad "Too Many Cooks" didn't come out until long after this video was first released on Blip. If it had come out while I was working on it, I probably would've just abandoned the sequence.
Mr.Goldmark in my opinion you and spazz are some of the most underrated members of that guy with the glasses.
'OhGod HimAgain?" Must be Italian.

Since this retrospective, almost all of these sitcom episodes have become available on various streaming services. I know some of the video sources for these retrospectives were from reruns on ABC Family and BET, which of course had syndication edits made for additional commercials. Would be interesting to see what was edited out of those airings. Another amusing coincidence is that the majority of these shows are on Disney owned Hulu and Disney Plus.
Blossom: Not available on streaming. Only available for digital purchasing.
Full House: Hulu.
Family Matters: Hulu.
Roseanne: Peacock (Doesn't require a paid subscription!).
Step by Step: Hulu.
Boy Meets World: Disney Plus.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch: Hulu
According to Jim: Not available on streaming. Only available for digital purchasing.
George Lopez Show: Peacock with paid subscription.
Modern Family: Hulu.
All the 90's references, for those who don't want to research or simply don't know:
"That magical time when Kurt Cobain became king of Pride Rock" - Grunge band Nirvana, fronted by *Kurt Cobain*, gained a massive following and are often hailed as one of the game-changers in the world of rock music and even general musical trends. The group itself disbanded with Cobain's suicide. Disney movie _The Lion King_ has a key element that whoever is *king of Pride Rock* is important to the stability of the ecosystem.
"Bill Clinton had an affair with a velociraptor" - *Bill Clinton* was president of the United States from 1993 to 2001. He was impeached (but acquitted) in relation to scandal where he had an *affair* with a White House employee. The movie Jurassic Park was released in the decade, once again hailed as a game-changer in terms of proving CGI's viability for producing massive set pieces and recreating that which is long gone. One of the most iconic elements of the movie were the *velociraptors*, nimble and person-sized dinosaurs that were especially effective in killing, taking out a number of characters in the movie.
"...and Quentin Tarantino sold Bart Simpson's soul for pogs in the wicka-wicka-Wild Wild West" - *Quentin Tarantino* directed the highly successful film _Pulp Fiction_ which was released in 1994. *Bart Simpson* is a character from The Simpsons, which began in 1989 but hit peak popularity in the 90's. *Pogs* were reintroduced in the '90's as bottle caps used in the half-century old game, sparking an international fad that lasted for half the decade, with many movies, shows, people, and causes capitalizing on their popularity by producing branded versions. In a 1995 episode of Simpsons entitled _Bart Sells His Soul_, Bart sells his "soul" to Milhouse, who then trades it for Pogs. *Wild Wild West* was a movie released in the late '90's, featuring Will Smith off the success of Men in Black and featuring an original song, in which various effects produce vocals similar to the *"wicka-wicka"* Goldmark adds.
+RhythmGameAddict I didn't intend the "soul" thing to be a Pulp Fiction reference. There was a famous Simpsons episode where Bart sold Milhouse his "soul" (just a piece of paper with "Bart's soul" written on it) and later Milhouse sells it to the comic book guy for pogs, to which Bart famously replied, "YOU SOLD MY SOUL FOR POGS?!?"
+Tony Goldmark Oops, goes to show how unfamiliar I am with Simpsons; I decided to search ties between Tarantino and selling souls in the '90's first and thought I had a match. I've fixed it in the initial post.
+Tony Goldmark Remember Alf? He's Back! In Pog form!
Rewatching this retrospective for Fond memories.
The Disney blip ad still cracks me up years later. IT WAS EVERYWHERE.
And this is how I got to know you.
"Theme park reviewer? Eehhh whatever.... Wait, he'll cover sitcom episodes?! SIGN ME UP!!"
Whoa whoa whoa!! What is that at 2:40 and why does it look so funny?!
I was in the audience for a taping of The Benson Interruption, a short-lived stand-up comedy show on Comedy Central, all six episodes of which were released on a bonus DVD that came with Doug Benson's album Potty Mouth. They didn't allow the audience to wear black shirts, so I wore a blue one.
Luscious locks
7:37 Have Jerk ever made an Elvis parody?
I loved that Disneylandia promo in the middle.
Hey, Some Jerk! I gotta know: how d'ya feel about Kingdom Hearts and, if you're a fan, how do you feel about its utter lack of representation in Disney parks?
+SuperSonic68 I'm not much of a gamer, and I've never played Kingdom Hearts. I've watched people play it, but I couldn't really follow the plot.
Oh, wow! A response from the man himself! I'm honored! Yeah, the plot only really makes sense if you read through a bunch of extra journal entries and junk. Not very good storytelling, but I still enjoy the story for what it is. Can't wait to see what you'll come up with next! You're easily one of my favorite internet personalities.
TOO MANY JERKS!
Luke Cochran Welcome to the White House.
Wait 'til you get to his Back to the Future The Ride review. ;)
@@tscream80 I think he's referring to the irony of his theme song sequence being very similar to a comedy horror short on Adult Swim that premiered the next year called Too Many Cooks, which is basically a group of people getting trapped in an endless cycle of TV theme songs.
But, yes, that episode did have too many Jerks. Haha!
Jerk should do the Blackish episode now. I want to see his reaction!
Someday, probably, but not for a while.
Tony Goldmark That's okay. I'm really excited to see your next projects! Love your videos!
If his randomizer picks it.
I can only imagine how much effort ALL of this takes😮😮
7:13 Talk about a 180.
I love the Here Come the ABC’s references!
Me too
4:20 LOL
Disney World
F**K YEAH!
2:40 BENNY FINE?!?
DUH HOUSE IS TOO FULL
Thanks Netflix!
Dude... Seriusly check your audio clipping :P I was watching this with my headphones on and any time you screamed my ears bled :P
I was expecting a full on Too Many Cook parady
I made this video before Too Many Cooks...and thank GOD, because if Too Many Cooks had aired while I was working on it, I probably would've abandoned the whole sequence out of a complete inability to top it.
Tony Goldmark Yea... you are still fuckin hilarious though keep up the good work
7:09 bro predicted that one movie about Disney parks
I think the trailer and a clip had already been released.
I watched the commentary for your Let's Go To Disney World episodes and you apparently still have a working VHS Tape AND VCR?!
They still sometimes come in handy.
You don’t?
Tmbg music enhances everything

DIDNEY WORLLLLLL
7:12
Boy that dated SO well huh?
well jerk, thanks to you I watched at least 5 out of 6 of the Disney World Retrospectives (6/7 if you count the Middle's recent trip, for some reason when I was watching it I kept expecting a smart alecky remark. I haven't seen the Family Matters one because Family Matters isn't syndicated enough for some reason, and season 6 isn't on dvd yet) dude, Blackish will go to Disney World, Fresh Off the Boat will go to Disney World (if it lasts long enough, shame that it's too late for Suburgatory)
UPDATE: Thanks to the youtube user Tatrasiel Peniel I got to see the Family Matters episode. I am now 6 for 6 (again 7 if you count the middle which was again more of a one parter) now if I had a favourite of the 6 it would be a three way tie between Full House, Family Matters and Roseanne. Step by Step was kind of grating, and Boy Meets World, was kind of irritating, Sabrina was okay though ( I won't watch the Disneyland episodes of those other ones because well the ABC comedies in the mid-2000's were kind of bad, besides George Lopez and According to Jim isn't really syndicated on my end and I hate Modern Family). Now as for a favorite review from this guy, all of the above. Tony made them that funny
iheartryanstyles I don't think they can do Fresh Off the Boat since that show takes place in 1995.
CoolEric258 wait what?! hmmmm well I didn't know that cause I don't watch it. Still I don't see why it shouldn't (especially since the show takes place IN Orlando, Florida)
iheartryanstyles They'd have to strategically shoot in areas that haven't changed since 1995. Or use TONS of CGI.
Tony Goldmark oh yes I can kind of see where that would be an issue considering that a very large majority of the park had been updated since the Family Matters episode
Tony, was that the actual spot in the Full House opening at 5:49?? How did you find it??
Not the actual spot, no. Just the view of San Francisco from the balcony of my dad's house.
sing burning love
Hey Tony, what is your top 10 best films from last year?
Now that I know your favorite "let's go to Disneyworld" episode, how would you rank your own reviews?
+Joseph Armstrong That's not up to me, I'm too close to them.
I miss last decade...
Me too
I want to watch this series of video but the fact that these programs were so cringey I just can't
the Boy meets world Disney World Episode is the only good Disney themed episode the rest sucked balls
5:24 Would you please pass me the sauce?
so who's the comedian at 2:00?
The late great Bill Hicks. ruclips.net/video/X3WMx1blONU/видео.html
2:40 What show were you on?
+thepokemonmaster264 The Benson Interruption, a brief Comedy Central stand-up show.
+Tony Goldmark thank you!
