That purple powder looks far too saturated for anybody really, in my opinion, and I don't do lip products like that..but that blush is *chefs kiss*.

Lunar Beauty Preciousa Pink liquid blush is also the same! :) I have both of the above so I won’t be buying the ube blush. Maybe the ube powder one day, but only if I run out of the Lunar Beauty pink powder 😅

Yes!! Same!! Also they claim to work on every skin tone but creators already said it just looks more just white and grey bc it‘s so light and NOT the color of an ube
My only wish with the Huda Ube powder, is I wish they had the mini version! Huda is great in terms of being able to buy mini/smaller sizes of their powders and foundation - and due to those smaller sizes, I was more willing to try their products! I even figured out that 4(!) different colors of the powder work on me - and I still am using the mini’s all these months later! As for the foundation, I bought 3 colors of the minis - and figured out #220 Custard Is my color 😂. I wish they would just make the Ube a regular thing, with the mini size to try. If your used to really pigmented brands like ER, Blend Bunny, you need to know Cosmic Brushes is more like a Revolution formula. The shadows really have to be built up, there is fall out. Your better off with Beauty Bay.
I got the YSL mini clutch last year. Story dolls. Thought the packaging was cute but they could've saved money on that crappy little brush they give you and just made it a six pan. Or even a five pan. To me that was such a copout.
Hi Lauren! I was wondering if you’ve ever been seasonal color palette analyzed? I learned about it over the weekend and it’s my current hyperfixation 😂
I too am shocked about the summer fridays lip oil, because i also got 2 when they launched and the packaging is TERRIBLE, and the formula is nothing special. Im honestly surprised I havent heard others complain about the leaky/wasteful packaging. It cant just be me.
Personally I can’t wait for the TikTok girlies to start wearing the Pat McGrath Mask. 😂. Like who would ever go out in public wearing that. But they will surly convince millions to do just that. 😂
Also, I already picked up the Cosmic Brushes palette. In fact I bought most new releases this week 🫠, but I love pretty eyeshadows! I do use them, and they make me happy. Now I just need to slow down! I know I can’t go this hard all year LOL 😂! There WILL BE other releases, and I don’t need them all!
Heyyy Lauren! Tried the gisou mask bc I can’t help myself lol I also have really thin hair, but super long. The mask made my hair super shiny, BUT it was veryyyyyy thick. Would probably weigh your hair down if you used too much of it. Probably a good idea you passed on it
I keep wanting to like liquid blush but it always looks so patchy on me. I’m so jealous of videos where they just blend it out so effortlessly. I’ve tried every method and it just always ends up being a mess on my cheeks.
Since my skin is more dry, I’ll usually blend it together on my hand with cetaphil so it glides onto my face smoother🤩Idk if you have tried anything like that but that’s specifically what worked for me w/ rare beauty blushes…I still def prefer powder but I always try to work with it since a friend gifted it to me
i remember feeling like i was always the one fading into the background while others stood out effortlessly. it was frustrating and made me doubt myself a lot. then i came across this book, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and it showed me things i’d never even considered. it’s not just a self-help book; it’s like a guide to understanding your own energy and using it to connect with people. if you’ve ever felt like you’re not seen, this book might change everything.
Never managed to get liquid blushes/highlighters to work for me, thought I’m the only one as everybody seemed to love it! Tried multiple brands/formulas, with different applications eg. applied with a brush, sponge, finger, none of it worked. I powder my under eye to set the concealer but my cheeks are bare, the liquid blush/highlighters ended sitting on 2 different textures and it ended up looking funky.
Honestly I’ve heard a LOT that the Gisou products aren’t that great and are overpriced. The sparkly lip oil they have looks super pretty and I was interested in it but at the end of the day it’s a $40 lip gloss with glitter.. which I can get anywhere else.
i just wanted to say that personally i really like my purple powder. but dude, why is everyone putting so much? great for color correcting my morning sallowness since i have an olive skin tone , not so great for baking because then i look literally insane. amazing formula too.
I will not be trying the Rhode liners. I personally prefer a more precise, pointy, pencil liner... so this is a total miss for me. Also the shades seem kinda boring... Im looking for cooler nude tones. So for those reasons its a no, which is sad because I love Miss Bieber and everything shes put out thus far.
Thanks for the fun video! I so agree with you on the liquid blushes (don’t get me started on flushes-lol) and the CT palettes (and them looking like CP dupes)! Also the CB lover’s palette is so tempting! Gorgeous color story! 😍😍😍
I had to buy the Cosmic Brushes palette (and two others on their site I don’t have 🫠!). However I know I’ll use them, and I loooooooooove pretty palettes like they carry!
Oh, that ultra glass skin look is great on a runway, but IRL? That's too extreme. It looks like plastic. If they put the ube powder underneath it, it would really be...something. 😊
I thought the Huda beauty Ube products were for individuals who have olive and similar shades? I know anyone can buy anything if they want but not everything is made for everyone. Those model pictures were beautiful but once I am darker than the darkest model and it might look good on me but I rather not waste money lol. the color pop liquid products are cute lol
I actually loved the Summer Fridays lip oil but I hate the packaging! I bought 2 shades from the OG line and they would constantly leak in my makeup bag and purse so I had to toss them
I don’t buy products based on packaging. I buy based on how it works. My makeup stays in my room no one sees it it’s not house decor. It could come in cardboard, which some do. I don’t care. The price should reflect the cheaper package tho.
Yeah, packaging matters. Has to withstand opening and closing again and again, prevent leaks, prevent light breaking it down and is part of the experience. Also, an indicator of the colour inside is usually good too
I think the Ube powder was a great launch for medium and olive skin tones but I’m so sick of pale af girlies like me trying it. Like honeyyy no that is not for us pale girlies. Not every product needs to be for everyone.

You look amazing today love the nails ❤
i love the new gisou hair mask
Me too! A little goes a long way too. My hair was soft for days after using it.
love this video concept!
If your used to really pigmented brands like ER, Blend Bunny, you need to know Cosmic Brushes is more like a Revolution formula. The shadows really have to be built up, there is fall out. Your better off with Beauty Bay.
Thinking about continuing my no buy in February! Love your videos Lauren!
I got the YSL mini clutch last year. Story dolls. Thought the packaging was cute but they could've saved money on that crappy little brush they give you and just made it a six pan. Or even a five pan. To me that was such a copout.
I agree about your take on Charlotte Tilbury. I bought one eye shadow quad and was severely underwhelmed
I actually love the gisou hair mask. I could tell the difference the first time I used it. Definitely worth it
Hi Lauren! I was wondering if you’ve ever been seasonal color palette analyzed? I learned about it over the weekend and it’s my current hyperfixation 😂
Right, the Charlotte 9 pans look super cheap.
And they're smaller than you think
I too am shocked about the summer fridays lip oil, because i also got 2 when they launched and the packaging is TERRIBLE, and the formula is nothing special. Im honestly surprised I havent heard others complain about the leaky/wasteful packaging. It cant just be me.
I have the huda powder and blush and I LOVE IT! I use the powder over the blush and it’s so pretty!
Just because you prefer not to buy these products, doesn't mean they generally are a waste of money...
Right? I felt the same thing 5 seconds in the video😂
I prefer twist up to sharpening always
Good to see you, Lauren ❤❤❤
the ube blush I am interested in, but I might have some k beauty blushes that are similar & more affordable
3:58 glossier has some liquid type bronzers too! I like them a lot! I just didn’t know what color to get so I got shades in 1-3 lol
I am on a low-buy this year. Good video.
Since my skin is more dry, I’ll usually blend it together on my hand with cetaphil so it glides onto my face smoother🤩Idk if you have tried anything like that but that’s specifically what worked for me w/ rare beauty blushes…I still def prefer powder but I always try to work with it since a friend gifted it to me
This was such a great video. Love the lip combo.
I’d love to see you do a “one week one pallet” video ❤
i remember feeling like i was always the one fading into the background while others stood out effortlessly. it was frustrating and made me doubt myself a lot. then i came across this book, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and it showed me things i’d never even considered. it’s not just a self-help book; it’s like a guide to understanding your own energy and using it to connect with people. if you’ve ever felt like you’re not seen, this book might change everything.
Sick of this spam
I think you should go bavk to being unseen
Never managed to get liquid blushes/highlighters to work for me, thought I’m the only one as everybody seemed to love it! Tried multiple brands/formulas, with different applications eg. applied with a brush, sponge, finger, none of it worked. I powder my under eye to set the concealer but my cheeks are bare, the liquid blush/highlighters ended sitting on 2 different textures and it ended up looking funky.
Benefit bounce mascara is in February glam bag it’s a mini which will probably show up in addons for 3.50 which is great price to try before I buy
I have started buying only travel and mini mascaras since they only last a short time.
The only thing worth the Huda launch is the blush. The powder is a brightening powder for darker skin tones and it is pretty sheer.
Glow recipe peaks me interest and they are $25 which is very reasonable
Honestly I’ve heard a LOT that the Gisou products aren’t that great and are overpriced. The sparkly lip oil they have looks super pretty and I was interested in it but at the end of the day it’s a $40 lip gloss with glitter.. which I can get anywhere else.
The Haus Labs new mascara is supposed to be really nice ❤
I’ve tried it and I love it!
Really love this style video! Any opportunity for me to be de-influenced I will take! Hope you are doing well ❤️
I have the elf contour and I keep telling myself you don't need that Rare beauty contour 😢 😂
I miss the sleek silver packaging of the old UD blushes. They had fun colors bank them too. These look cheap and boring
i just wanted to say that personally i really like my purple powder. but dude, why is everyone putting so much? great for color correcting my morning sallowness since i have an olive skin tone , not so great for baking because then i look literally insane. amazing formula too.
you look beautiful!!! i reallllly want to try the rhode lip liners and i’m very intrigued by the CT neutral/cool palette coming out soon. 💜💜💜
Very curious about the Rhode lip liners
Whats your base here? looks great, still the ND concealer? Would love to see a shop my stash video, feel like its been a while 🥰
I will not be trying the Rhode liners. I personally prefer a more precise, pointy, pencil liner... so this is a total miss for me. Also the shades seem kinda boring... Im looking for cooler nude tones. So for those reasons its a no, which is sad because I love Miss Bieber and everything shes put out thus far.
Please try the new benefit mascara and tell us your honest opinion
Can you please link all the products you’re wearing in your videos!❤
I love Pat McGrath, but that mask is just like any peel off gel mask like the cucumber ones from Freeman.
That's it! I knew it reminded me of something I saw before!
The ad for the video being Sephora 😭😭😭
I agree with you on all products....thanks for your time!!🫵🏽🪨✌🏽💗
"its very unique"...its yet another pink blush
It’s actually Lilac
@malloryvillanueva34 it's pink
Those CT palettes look so ugly. I can’t believe she’s putting out something that looks this cheap
The price should reflect the cheaper package tho.
most of the time, we pay for the packaging rather than the product itself.
I feel like, a lot of releases are made for posting on social media with the hopes it goes viral.
Yup that huda faux filler gloss was not it. I will be giving mine away. To me it was too sticky like how the cheaper glosses were back then.
I’m so confused by the Pat McGrath mask for non runway life. Are we going to have porcelain doll faces everywhere now? I hope not.
I'm getting a sample size of the Benefit Bounce mascara in my Ipsy bag!
Any and all powder under my eye makes me look like the crypt keeper.
