  • Nice FPV RC planes, very fun, small, and portable, most importantly, fly very well.
    Buy them from banggood here:

    Mobula: bit.ly/3fJI9L8
    You also need a radio and receiver:

    Nice video mate. I have a Flying Fish on the way, my plan was to make it a park fpv plane for a little proximity tree dodging. Light, small, quiet... less likely to upset anyone as it could be passed off as a toy from a local toy store 😂

    Great pair of reviews. Like you did basic light-weight setups for initial review and first maiden flights.
    Nice work on editing this video. Keeping it fun and focused. ♥️😎👍
    Fun video snippet from 9:20 as a seabird chases the Mobula wing toward the camera.
    It might be be fun to revisit in a future video with a look at what space and what payload capacity is available for FPV gear and larger batteries. It does not necessary requiring doing a build setup, but perhaps just a bench discussion of some options. Possibilities for where to place camera, VTX, antennas, etc and theoretical weight.

    Nice review brother! I just had a Mobula arrive and was a little worried about how well it would fly given the low price (I paid $64 USD for the PNP on Banggood). Given your opinion and advice, I can't wait to get it in the air! Thanks for posting!

    Did you have any crashes?
    And if you did, would you say that it was VERY durable in those crashes, or just average like other foam planes?

    Finally someone who covers the fpv port and wants to fly line of sight like to old days. May i know which 2s battery did you use for the flying fish?

  • @marielizysurourcq
    @marielizysurourcq 2 года назад +1

    for the fish, I'm advising to try 2S with three blades FOUR inch props for lighter build. It will be lighter and get more power. You can also try the 3 inch FIVE blades for a better noise but less efficiency.

    • @theoztreecrasher2647
      @theoztreecrasher2647 2 года назад

      Sorry, but your information is certainly NOT correct! 2-bladers (of a similar type) are ALWAYS more efficient than multi-bladers.

    I don't recommend throwing flying wings like that since you could easily cut your finger really bad, try launching it like a frisbee you can look it up on youtube , i have 90+% launching success rate throwing it like that

    observations. at 1:00, the mass of two servos has been located slightly aft, of where it should normally be. because of this, more attention should be paid to the forward-of-cg distribution of mass (dom). specifically, that mass should be counter-balanced with a similar amount of forward-located mass; at a location resulting in a roughly equal moment arm/leverage.
    a model airplane should have a prop that is correctly spec'd for the application. these rubbery props are Too flexible. this is so because, as a SF prop does, a flexible prop can un-load at higher rpms and/or during a major increase in throttle.!!! googletranslate
    btw, it should be CLEAR that, launching a pusher flying wing Can be dangerous, to the launcher's HAND. !!!

    Uhu is pronounced oohoo like in hoola hoop but oohoo .
    Uhu is a birds name in german for the eagle owl. Check google and press the speaker symbol.
    4:24 Therefore you read it as Uhu Por on the box and in the green area below Styropor Kleber = foam glue
    Uhu is a very old mostly glue focussed company but they know how to glue and even lead to the development of a model plane in 1956 by GRAUPNER which close to all west german boys grew up with which then was called the small Uhu / eagle owl and of cause teached the boys how to glue spars (fuselage was plastic) and cover the wing.
    That is how the boys became 'branded' for UHU glues, simply by a plane which got the brands and birds name as a product name.
    Graupner ceased in 2018 or so finally and with it the 6 th generation of der kleine Uhu except from those dealers who still have them in stock.
    The plane was used to train the youth and start the first competition.
    So 2 or 3 decades later it is funny to watch all the RC plane channels mostly using the Uhu Por even in Australia where I had thought they would have had a complete different one from US or China, but for sure not a german one, but Andrew Newton loved Uhu Por and recommended it on his list.
    thanks for sharing all the work you had to do to fix the faults.
