What 1/10 brasher would you recommend? As I based in Australia also I am looking at recommendations locally as our prices are all over the place.
I don't live in Australia, but it would probably help someone give you better advice if you mentioned how much your upper limit is regarding price.

Question: does this truck have the "classic MJX" throttle delay?
The MJX 16th scale truggy was my first RC, and i just repaired it to give as a donation to a low income family near me, i had to put in a new spur gear, and when i turned it on to test it, i was shocked at how much delay the throttle had. I didn't notice it because it was my first RC, but comparing it to my Rlaarlo CT8A, it was shocking at how bad the delay was.
I know this 10th scale uses the same transmitter, so how does the delay feel? Or how did it feel before you switched it out?
