Thank you for your great video content. I just ordered your EasyBreazy product, not so much because i need it,but just because I want to support Christian businesses who are bold enough to let the world know and not bow to the evil times we live in. Keep the good fight brother!
I really like my EasyBreazy! I think you'll like it too.
We love using the grill pan because of the nice presentation from the grill marks. With a really thick piece of meat, we'll make all our grill marks and then, on the fourth set, pop the pan back in the oven to finish cooking.
another nice video THANKS
If you get the large Panini Press. The indentations fit perfectly inside of the grill pan. I put both of them in the pan and then heat them up together when I put the steak in it's the same as cooking it on both sides fantastic finish
I cook mine in a Traeger until they reach 110* internal then set them in a hot cast iron with a little butter and rosemary to put a sear on it.
Great video and tutorial! Although, I like mine Med-well. My mom and wife like theirs shoe leather. Years ago, someone gave my grandmother a Teflon skillet. it was in the trash 3 days later, hers were cast or stainless.
I do indirect cooking on a Weber BBQ 22 inch.
My steaks are always juicy and I smoke them using hickory chunks.
BBQ with a hard wood, hickory or mesquite or orange wood or lemon wood is absolutely wonderful and this combined with indirect cooking is best.
Steaks on one side , wood fire on other side..
😊😊😊
Thanks. I am going to try this.
Amen 🙏 Yum Yum 😋🥩🍽️
Amen
Browning is for taste. Caramelized taste, so they say. It would seem obvious that the more browned meat, the better. Not to mention, that is a lot of fussing around with steak while it is cooking. Good test though. Good explanation.
No video I ever saw made me so hungry for steak as this one does. Must be those grill marks. Even though I am not going to buy a grill pan. The old one is fine.
Me and my wife likes to our Steak a little more done not quite that rare I’d like to get a pinkish, dark dark red
Smooth grill looks better
I'm a family of 1. I use my cast iron 3 x a month or so. How can I keep the oil from tasting nasty in between uses? Smells/Tastes rancid no matter how little oil I use.
This gentleman has a product you might want to look into. It's called Easy Breezy but I'm sure this man can best answer your question.
I use his easybeezy pan seasoning and can affirm I don't ever have a rancid problem no matter how long my pans go unused. I believe the type of oil you are using makes a difference.
@@undercover5596 Thank you!
You can use soap to clean cast iron. If you use it every day, sure, you can just wash pans with hot water. But if you barely use it, wash with mild dish soap and dry it thoroughly before storage. If there's no moisture, it won't rust
Wipe oil off pan pretty well. Only need a light layer.
Isn´t buying a grill pan just a waste of money and kitchen space? All it does is give you fake "BBQ / grill" lines on your meat, that make the item look like it was flame grilled.
And for that you have an item that cannot be used for other things e.g. frying eggs, making an omelette.
And also it is an item that is more difficult to clean etc. [right?]
Or have I missed something?
cheers!
Agreed! My grill pan got moved to the basement and hasn't seen the light of day in years. It doesn't do anything that another pan doesn't do just as well or better and it's a pain in the neck to clean.
I'm wondering what it does with juices. In a pan people tend to use a lot of butter to bake 'm. With the grill pan I can imagine most goes out and doesn't get absorbed. Perhaps weigh 2 steaks before and after cooking and see if the grill pan steak is gonna lose more weight.
Cross contamination 😂 It's the same piece of meat. How could there be cross-contamination?
Raw meat vs cooked meat is still cross-contamination.
@@fathersonandskillet it's a bit heavy handed 😂 cross-contamination w a steak is nil, if anything it's a good way to build the immune system.
Looks like you killed Both steaks well Down Dead .
The most important thing about a good steak is not to let it get past medium. If you like it past that, you should stick to fish or chicken. I'm not trying to be mean, just an unfortunate fact that the closer to raw, the better. The second thing is to get quality beef, they are not all the same.
