We are truly blessed to be able to hear the glory of God in the talent he gave to this young Brother. Amazing soul! My favorite is 2 minutes in. I keep listening to it over and over. Man, Simply AMAZING!
This is as good as a human being can perform the art of blues..........hellooooo.........this is unreal..........can not be described.........this is bigger than talent.........much bigger!
Smokin! He may have been raised in the town famous for the "deal with the devil at the crossroads," but this kid has a music talent that came straight from God.
This young man has not only talent but also the "feel" of the blues. God himself has certainly given him an abundant dose of the gift of music. Truly inspiring
Nice to see a guy from Mississippi jamming blues on a Peavey amp. I have seen other videos where he is playing what appears to be a Peavey Delta Blues model. Support the local business!!! Awesome talent! Blues is alive in this young dude!! Bring us more music KINGFISH!!!
What a AWESOME TALENT !! Kingfish you have got SOUL !!!! I love how he makes his guitar literally part of his being !!! Much like BB,Eric Clapton,Jimi,Carlos Santana do when you see them, the guitar becomes their inner soul !!!!!
By nothing more than the very grace of God Himself, this young man's absolutely SMOKIN'! He's doing the legends proud, and he plays so CLEAN! You go, Kingfish!
his style of playing reminds me of a young Joe Bonamassa but that vibrato is all BB King-ish :) he's gonna go far ...best of luck to ya kingfish ... keep the blues alive :)
There was a time when the Sr Artists would have reached out to this young man and "balanced" the scales of what they saw in him and the realities of the difficult side of this business (success or struggle) - I would love to hear that he has been taken under the wing of someone like Clapton, who knows and understands the talent and the (business). Hope he gets an intro ASAP!
...and I agree he has that BB feel here - yet I viewed a different-SRV feel in anothee - while may mean - we have yet (likely) to experience what he will add through his (in time) individual style
+Beth Bartlett I hear a lot of SRV in his playing, as well as some BBK. What an amazing kid. Had I taken guitar this seriously when I was his age, is only wonder where I'd be today.
yes keyjay i understand he does need to loose weight im also big people make fun of big people but its the heart that matters mabe one day he will loose weight God bless you and this child
He stated on a facebook comment that he was taking measures to lose the weight, sooo......I don't know why everyone's still acting like he's oblivious.
This young man was just on The Steve Harvey Show. He has a severe case of asthma and according to his Mother, was put on meds before he turned a year old, which has caused him to be overweight his entire life. He was also a victim of bullying, which basically caused him to become a recluse. Through Mr. Harvey's generosity, there are people who are going to work with him for six months on his diet and weight training...if he is successful, Mr. Harvey promised to pay for another six months.
i really like this guys playing. i think he needs more time to really get the finesse that comes with experience,,, listen to gino matteo and youll understand what i mean,,,this kid is heading for greatness
amazing talent, I hope he can refine those skills because the dude can play. A little more character would be nice. Wheres ole slow hand when you need em?! He gave bb king the soul, lets make another blues icon.
The fucking world need real talent this days just popsingers made to make that dollar they all fake and depresed acording to rianna she hates popmusic and still sheis do in it whith no talent what sow ever only her looks are her talen baby i whish i could marry her
Child Prodigy! But this boy needs to lose weight by a LOT, otherwise he wouldn’t live far into adulthood, when he can play the blues like a real man, which would be a great loss to us as well as himself.
Jim Blues You don't know how long this guy will live. I know someone who's bigger than him and is in his 60s. A bulge of people have lived being obese. No one knows how long anyone will live. But if he's going to be healthy. He should be healthy for himself and because that's what he wants to do, not because people tell him to. I do think people need to knock off the biased criticism of his weight issue, and focus on his talent. Let him and his family deal with his weight, not anyone else.
We are truly blessed to be able to hear the glory of God in the talent he gave to this young Brother. Amazing soul! My favorite is 2 minutes in. I keep listening to it over and over. Man, Simply AMAZING!
It just makes ya feel better to know that the love of the blues is alive and well.
This is as good as a human being can perform the art of blues..........hellooooo.........this is unreal..........can not be described.........this is bigger than talent.........much bigger!
This kid is great! He plays with experience well beyond his years. Mom and Dad you should be proud.
Smokin! He may have been raised in the town famous for the "deal with the devil at the crossroads," but this kid has a music talent that came straight from God.
those clean epiphone blues are about the best I have ever heard bar none and hes only 14 Dam - love this kid
This young man has not only talent but also the "feel" of the blues. God himself has certainly given him an abundant dose of the gift of music. Truly inspiring
This is amazing. That kid is already one of the best.
Please carry on where B.B. left off. Music needs musicians, and you have the skills to keep real blues music alive.
I'm from Alabama and I love the blues and I could listen to Kingfish all day. I seen him on the Steve Harvey show. Keep it up!
Thoroughly blown away WOW from my neck of the woods Memphis ten and Mississippi area.
This kid is amazing. SRV material there.
this kid is seriously gifted !!!!
amazing to play like this at 15 years old .
i truly hope he takes care of himself….if you know what i mean.
What a AWESOME TALENT !! Kingfish you have got SOUL !!!! I love how he makes his guitar literally part of his being !!! Much like BB,Eric Clapton,Jimi,Carlos Santana do when you see them, the guitar becomes their inner soul !!!!!
this kid to me is better than Eric Clapton and his playing is more sophisticated
Rick Danner yeah i feel that kingfish adds his own spice to his playing. Sadly, EC kind of sounds like any other amateur blues player.
Talent at its best, brilliant young man! :) and the piano player as well! :) great touches!, love the feel and expression!. Blues is here to stay!
Much love from Austin Texas
Damn, I can listen to music like this all day long. Thank you for posting.
By nothing more than the very grace of God Himself, this young man's absolutely SMOKIN'! He's doing the legends proud, and he plays so CLEAN! You go, Kingfish!

This is amazing...keep going youngster...
This kid is bad ass! I love him
oh my god... I've died and gone to heaven!!!
his style of playing reminds me of a young Joe Bonamassa but that vibrato is all BB King-ish :) he's gonna go far ...best of luck to ya kingfish ... keep the blues alive :)
When he switched to the semi hollow, he kind of adopted bb kings late 60s style a bit, obviously adding his own touch. this is brilliant.
That's some really nice playing he's doing. Nice.
He has the tone, feel and natural ability to play cool. If he truly is 14 awesome!!! You go brother you have skills!!! Amazing.
So good !
Just saw you on the Steve Harvey Show and I got one comment "You set the standards for the best and the rest! OMG, OMG, OMG!!!

SOMEONE WHO WILL TRULY DO HIM JUSTICE, PLEASE SIGN HIM. KINGFISH WATCH OUT FOR THE WOLVES!
That young man keeping BB kings sounds alive he's good at 16 teen!!!
There was a time when the Sr Artists would have reached out to this young man and "balanced" the scales of what they saw in him and the realities of the difficult side of this business (success or struggle) - I would love to hear that he has been taken under the wing of someone like Clapton, who knows and understands the talent and the (business).

Well said!
!4 yrs. old? Great! What a talent.
He better lay off those "Little Debby Snack Cakes" if he wants to see his drivers license.
I hope he live to be a 100 just to spite your shameful, shitty ass comment.
Cool your jets, dude. It was a joke.
No need to get ugly, and profane about it.
Rush Wingate yeah rush tell them my God get ahold of them
yes keyjay i understand he does need to loose weight im also big people make fun of big people but its the heart that matters mabe one day he will loose weight God bless you and this child
He stated on a facebook comment that he was taking measures to lose the weight, sooo......I don't know why everyone's still acting like he's oblivious.
....and whrn he "experiences - feels" the true pain - blues - then he will be a matured perfection - talent is already there. N
From what I understand this is Morgan Freeman's bar. My uncle in Birmingham has been there several times.
Guitar Center cancel your King of the Blues contest this year I just found the King lol

Freddie king has risin from the dead!
Kingfish is The One.

How do you even get this good? Is it natural talent?? If it is, I'm throwing my guitar away :(
You just don't hear good shit like that anymore. It never gets any airplay.
Why oh why did he ditch the strat! :)
Somebody tell the damn piano player to take his FOOT OFF THE PEDAL!
@@Jdizzle6969 It wasn't my keyboard, it was the one they already had up there. I was traveling from out of town.

Wish modern blues guitarists would play with a cleaner tone more. Like how early electric blues guitarists did.
i really like this guys playing. i think he needs more time to really get the finesse that comes with experience,,, listen to gino matteo and youll understand what i mean,,,this kid is heading for greatness

great player.i'd wouldnt trade him for anything.i couldnt live in a 500lb body, must be brutal
He needs better gear. Where are the endorsements? Fender. Give him some guitars and amps!!
He's making that Peavey sound great. Tone is shaped by the touch. Gear certainly helps, though.
Dude, that kid spoke to me loud and clear with the gear he has on that stage. lol
Christone!!! Will you marry me!!??????
How ironic is it that's he's playing in a place where he's too young to be served.
rodentcafeteria he doesn’t look that hungry anyway..
The fucking world need real talent this days just popsingers made to make that dollar they all fake and depresed acording to rianna she hates popmusic and still sheis do in it whith no talent what sow ever only her looks are her talen baby i whish i could marry her
this kid shits on clapton

take a tip from an 56 yr old bluesman...improve your tone.
