Wes Craven's New Nightmare - Movie Review
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 24 июн 2017
- After the disaster that was The Final Nightmare, New Line looked to the man who created Freddy Krueger to bring him back from the dead. Wes Craven's New Nightmare has our favorite dream invader trying to cross over into our reality by preying on those who created the original classic: A Nightmare on Elm Street. Though audiences in 1994 definitely were not ready for such a unique form of storytelling, there is no denying the genius and risky spin Wes Craven took with his final installment in the Nightmare franchise. Is Wes Craven's New Nightmare still a highlight in the franchise or has this meta-movie aged poorly?

Wes Craven was always a step ahead of everyone else.
Agreed!
Yes, but in this case it was a step ahead of himself haha.
Everyone besides Carpenter.
I love how this one is sort of a Proto-Scream movie. The concept is great, and the execution was good as well.
Same with halloween 6
If there was ever a better horror film that you’re there for the story line instead of just kills it’s this one. A true creative masterpiece. Love it
Definitely!
Yes
It is so good...really appreciated the final act too...easily the best in the series for me personally
Wes Craven came out of the mist of chaos and shit, and brought salvation back to Freddy.
Too bad FvJ came out and fucked it all up again.
One of my favorites in the series. Wes Craven is a Master of Horror that will always be missed.
Love Wes Cravens New Nightmare. I saw this film twice in the movie theater when it was released in 94. I really thought it was a original way to bring Freddy back and the cast did a brilliant job with the material. Really love the look of Freddy and wish we could have seen him with the look in other films. The movie is so dark and brilliantly scary while getting away from the silliness that plagues parts 5 and 6 in the franchise. It really made Freddy scary again and raised the stakes for the characters. Not enough praise is given to this film.
It wasn’t a movie about Freddy. I’ve thought so many times about this film. The idea, is that a primal evil took over Freddie’s likeness because it needed it to cause fear and death. I wonder what that primal evil is, but it was distracted by Freddie and got trapped in the story that was Nightmare on Elm Street because it was feeding off the fear of people in the real world. The story ended and it wasn’t distracted anymore and it wanted to get that fear back…so it snuck into our world in a different way.
This film was a literary genius of Wes Craven!
New Nightmare is really an under appreciated film for what it did during its time of release.
What I like about New Nightmare is that it brought back tension and Freddy's scary again. Plus Heather's acting is great.
0:27 One of best returns of a villain. The first time you see Robert England back in the makeup and sneer, you KNOW it was getting REAL.
That intro haha. nice video man, you make me wanna check out the original film now. despite me not being a horror fan
+Matthewvhaynes Thanks man. It's on Netflix you should definitely check it out. Some movies you just HAVE to watch. Lol
Oh, also loved how when Robert Englund as himself is playing Freddy he looks like he did in past movies, and when the real Freddy shows up he has this new creepier more intense look! The new look is very frightening and it makes it easy for you to see which is "acting" and which is "true evil". amazing
Gotta say, I love this film. I love the way Wes Craven adds layer upon layer of creepiness and tension as the film progresses. It starts with a bad dream and four cracks appearing on the wall of Heathers home - things that could be dismissed as nothing out of the ordinary - but Freddy starts getting to Heather & Dylan more and more. Heather Langenkamp's acting was great, she should've been nominated for some kind of award, IMO. Some of the special effects were very good (Dylan and his mom crossing the freeway at night) but some sucked (Freddy extending his jaw and trying to swallow Dylan's head; Freddy turning into a demon and dying). This was a low budget film so I can't be too harsh. It gets 9/10 from me.
Yeah this one is great. Heather Langenkamp was damn good.
@@CodyLeachYT Biggest problem (Titanic is the same if you look at the Rose and Jack meeting scene where she slips over her dress), You can physically see the green screen bleeding through. Heather was amazing in it, as was Robert, though, I guess remasters of both films (Titanic and Wes Cravens New Nightmare) will have sorted that out.
and also the cracks were designed to look like freddy slashes.
Out of all of them I have nostalgia for, it’s this one. I remmeber watching it I think at the same age of Dylan in this film. So, I was disturbed 😂 but I remember it being a fun ride and damn it still is. Amazing story, characters, the mother and son relationship is beautiful, and not to mention Freddy in this. He is completely badass
The original Nightmare, dream warriors, and New Nightmare is considered, (to me) the True trilogy. I love this film.
You have a sense of urgency, energy and passion when discussing Nightmare or Chucky, more so than any other franchise. I prefer Halloween myself but gotta love your passion for what you love
I love the end credits music it was so creepy and the opening scene was fantastic in this! Great job! Yeah we definitely missed Freddy and Wes Craven Rest in peace.
+Metal Horror Pack Thanks man. R.I.P. indeed!
The music over the end credits was so epic
This was a very inventive film and a great closure to the series. Good review as always. #RIP Wes Craven
+Scene68 Thanks man. Yes R.I.P.
they had a great dynamic
omg the performances were great
I love this movie. Still makes me kinda angry that it didn't do well at the box office back in 94. I saw it like 3 times in the theaters and love watching it whenever I can on DVD etc. Its my favorite of the Nightmare movies (3 and 1 are next in line) by a long shot - and its just a terrifically made masterclass of meta horror/thriller.
My ONLY problem with the movie - is that its not really Freddy we get in the end. Its some demon Wes Craven was trying to keep in check the whole time masquerading as Freddy etc. I mean I still think this is Freddy, but he's not Freddy Freddy. Know what I mean? lol
No we don’t. Elaborate idiot
@@ilyadratutin6385 Thank you for the insult on a 2 year old comment, I appreciate it so much!
The concept behind it is pretty cool but I want the real Freddy
I think I'm one of the only people left that loves "dream sequences" in movies. It may come from seeing these Freddy movies as a very young child, but I'm still a sucker for any dream sequence..as long as it's done right. It has to serve the movie.
My favorite is New Nightmare. Followed by the original and part 2 and 3. Part 2 is definetely underrated
You should watch a documentary called "the gayest horror movie ever made" about #2. Great documentary.
It's also my favorite in the series, followed by the first then the third
Agreed. It broke a lot of the Wes Craven rules however stands up as Freddy is still a really dark and intimidating character, therefore works as a straight up horror. Something they should have revisited in later films
I all ways look at New Nightmare as its own film. For me flaw wise I think the film missed a chance to have Robert an Freddy face to face.I also felt Robert was a little under used.I also agree about the cgi.My other last complaint is I liked the build up so much when it came to the climax I was a little let down.I diddnt like the Freddy tongue.I also felt he did crack a little to many one liners.Other then that im a big fan of this movie. There was originally a scene scripted for Robert to have a Nightmare were Freddy came down as a Spider an Robert was trapped in a web. Also originally Wes Role was gonna be he showed up riding in the back of a van an his eye lids were cut off so he wouldnt sleep. An he was writing the script for the film we were watching. There was also another idea were on the highway they were gonna do a Freddy scene of him driving a claw mobile an trying to run Heather over.
I call the “glove” of this film the real extension of Freddy and the real extension of his evil
Absolutely loved this movie!! Fantastic! What a great idea, as you said, exploring how making horror movies affects the lives of the people behind the scenes. Got such a kick out of seeing our fave movie characters as themselves, and you again are so right about the depth and power of the scene between Heather and Saxon at the playground.
Love “Wes Cravens New Nightmare” definitely hands down one of my favorite movies of the entire franchise. I think Freddy was the most terrifying in parts 1, 2 and New Nightmare. From his persona to the SFX. Awesome review!
I saw Wes Craven's New Nightmare in theaters back in 1994 and I watch it today and it still holds up in 2023 and I still love it.
You should review terminator 2 judgment day
original and new nightmare are my favorites
David Cottone I'll be doing a ranking vid once I finish the series and finally name my favorites.
Mine too.
Yup. Nobody can touch Craven when it comes to Freddy.
Agreed
@@CodyLeachYT mine was the original, dream warriors, dream master and new nightmare.
Wanna hear a joke?
Freddys dead: the final nightmare.
Good joke.
😂😂😂😂
🙂
Anthony Clark tell me how that fucking excuse of a fucking cow fuck is a decent fucking movie please tell me how that fucking excuse is a “decent” fucking fuck !!! Fuck this god fucked movie god please fuckin kill me before I ever have to fuckingn watch that god fuck of a movie
Michael W. Yeah no fucking shit Sherlock
Great intro, great review agree with you a billion percent and I just subscribed 💓
I can definitely see why people didn't like this one at first. When I was first getting into horror movies and wanted to see a Nightmare movie this was the only one my grandfather had so I was rather disappointed in it being this weird meta movie movie instead of the classic formula.
My top 5
5 dream master
4 Freddys revenge
3 Wes cravens nightmare
2 Nightmare on Elm Street 1984
1 dream warriors
I'd pay to see Robert England to come back as Freddy again.
Great review one of my favorite in the Elm Street series since the first and Dream Warriors.
LUIS Thanks man. it's by far the best after dream warriors
I always love it when a long running franchise can take risks and be different and "Wes Craven's New Nightmare", is the perfect example of how to do it right.
While I don't consider this to be the finally to the Nightmare on Elm Street that everyone was expecting, I do see it was the finally to Wes Craven and everyone who was involved with this series overall.
Heather Langenkamp, John Saxton, and Robert England knocked it out of the park with this one. Also, great script Wes! R.I.P.
Keep it up!
MisterBassBoost Absolutely
I'm new to this channel as well and this is kinda late. But from what I remember Wes Craven's new nightmare was the first Freddy kreuger movie I watched and it scared me when I was really young. This was one of my favorites to watch as well. Cody keep up what you do I find these videos entertaining to watch.
Great review. One of my favorite moments is ALSO the closet scene. “Miss Me?” I wanted that fight scene to keep going!! Thx for this video. 🔪🔥
Great review brother!
I just finished watching the entire series (had only seen 1 and parts of 5 and 7 as a kid/ teenager... remembered practically nothing, only how the motorcycle kill freaked me out as a 12 year old and how I loved it) and it was quite the ride!
Thank you for joining us on the journey with your work and walking us through it. After each movie I thought: "wonder what Cody has to say on it!" :)
I wholeheartedly agree with this one. I had NO IDEA what I was walking into and I loved it! A great, unique, piece of art in the birth hour of popcultural postmodernism. The time was ripe and the zeitgeist was moving strongly into self awareness and self referenciality. Pulp Fiction, In the Mouth of Madness, same year.
A great, intelligent horror film, a good Freddy film. Well put. My biggest, and really only complaint, not enough kills and carnage candy. Beyond that, story, atmosphere, acting, cinematography... fuckin A! Wes was a damn virtuoso! He is dearly missed in the horror film world!
New nightmare is an absolute masterpeice in fact one of my favorite parts of the film is when heather reads her son Dylan the story of the witch in the burning furnace witch actually parallels the end of the film witch heather and her son dylan kill freddy by burning him in a fiery furnace abosolutly brillent writing rest in peace wes craven
(Phone rings)
Cody: (Picks up) "Hello?"
Freddy: "1, 2 Freddy's coming for you."
Cody: "Bring it the f🚫 on!"
🤣
One of the best intros you've ever done, Cody.
Also the kid who played dylan was in full house. That shows that the kid is a really good actor from doing horror movies to tv comedy sitcoms.
HAHAHAHA The intro was Freakin' Hilarious!!! AWESOME WORK as ALWAYS
I saw this when it came out on VHS around 95. I didn't appreciate it as a kid. But I love it now. And it's in the top 3 of my favorite from the franchise.
Besides the original A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), The Dream Warriors and Freddy vs Jason is New Nightmare my favorite movie in the series. Without this movie we would never get the Scream franchise, one of the best Horror Movie Franchises. Will you review Freddy vs. Jason too?
Horrormaster13 I'm right there with you as far as the top 4. Yes I'll be doing FVJ and the remake next
@@CodyLeachYTNightmare 2 is the black sheep of the movie franchise plus being released in 1985 is my favorite along with the 1984 classic and dream Warriors and dream master plus freddy vs jason
My favorite scene is Heather falls asleep and Dylan start having a seizure.
I remember seeing an interview with Wes cravin when this came out and said this was a movie for the people were teenagers when the first one came out and were adults with kids now. I didn't really like it then, I got bored fast with it.
Now though, through adult eyes, holy crap. It's just genius.
Great review! Keep it up
Cody, you're awesome, hahaha! Loved this!
lol Thank you!
The beginning was hilarious. It startled me like a KLR short. “Steven!” “What, Nancy?!” “I thought you were dead! Fucking hell!” “I was taking a nap! Fucks sake man!” Your reviews of Nightmare on Elm Street are the most entertaining and hilarious even watching on repeat. Keep up the awesome work. I just found you so I’m subscribed. Can’t wait to watch more!😂
Wes craven was just a genius when it came to horror movies, for him to resurrect the franchise from the pile of horse shit it was left in after the sixth instalment was nothing short of masterful
Cody, this is without a doubt, the best review yet, and my favorite Nightmare in the series. AWESOME!!
Doug Melvin Thanks man glad I did it justice! It's not my favorite but it's high up there.
Cody Leach This movie really kinda hits home with me because I was watching it when I found out my ex wife was pregnant back in 2003. That's where I got the idea to name him Dylan.
+Doug Melvin Oh that's cool!
I'm new to your channel (discovered it thru the Drumdums commentary) and already subbed. I enjoy your insights and great intros! Anyway, New Nightmare was the first Freddy movie I ever saw, I must've been 6 or 7. Great movie, great hook, and Heather is impeccable. I just wish that we could've seen Freddy pay a visit to Robert Englund, as that would've been fantastic. I love Freddy's look in this. By the way, would you like to see this particular Freddy in a sequel or reboot?
+TheUnderdog1026 Thanks a lot...glad to have you aboard. Yeah a Freddy VS Robert scene would've been perfect. I would like to see a return of this Freddy. This Freddy VS Kane Hodder or Derek Mears Jason would be a dream.
Awesome review my friend.. I share alot of your sentiments, especially your thoughts on the ending on how they kill Freddy. It was way to easy. They made him way too soft in his own realm..
I just watched this movie today!! It’s awesome and my personal favorite sequel in the franchise! I love the concept and execution for this movie!
Lol... Intro rocks. I'll hold him down for you.
Some good stuff in here about grief, dreams and the price of fame. It has alot of false scares though, alot of the interior daylight sequences look like a made for TV movie. Also the special effect shot of Freddy in the sky is genuinely appalling. Lastly the new scary badass Freddy gets his ass kicked by a little boy and a scrawny woman.
When I was a kid this movie scared the shit out of me, always been my favorite nightmare movie. I love the start haha it's a pissah man, great review.
Lol your intros always get me laughing in the morning dude. Been waiting for you to get this this one in the franchise. I REALLY liked this one and it still holds up in my opinion. Super fun story-line in this one to me. Agree it was certainly ahead of its time. Felt like a new story and a homage to Freddy all at once. Also agree 3rd act killed it.
Part one was the best for me.
Then Dream Warriors
Then New Nightmare
Then... all the others i guess.
Great review man!
The SilverScreen Analysis lol I always try to kick things off with a laugh...glad it worked. Thanks man I've always enjoyed this one quite a bit. It definitely doesn't get the credit it deserves.
Absolutely agree. Not sure why people tend to overlook this movie. I can remember watching this one in the theater and thinking, this actually a really good Freddy movie holy shit! I had no expectations and it was great. Awesome work breaking this franchise down!
Thanks man...two more and Im done. Feels like a huge accomplishment. haha
That is a major accomplishment to plow through all those film. It wont help that you final two a painful on many levels but looking forward to your reviews on them dude!
One of the reason it wasn’t also a box office hit like most Nightmare film was this was released around the same week as Pulp Fiction
Loved that intro
I think this is my favorite intro to the NOES reviews lol
How did they do it? I don't know, but Wes is a genius.
It was good. I now know why you like this series Cody.👍
It's easy to see how this movie lead to the genius of Wes to create Scream shortly after, bit slower paced given Freddy not being in it as much for the first half of the movie still a great Nightmare movie along with Dream Warriors . A shame it wasn't well received when it came out for being ahead of it's time.
Great review, I love New Nightmare its my fav Freddy movie. Hands down best Freddy look ever and Miko Hughes is legend. Love the opening scene too.. 👏🏾👌🏾👏🏾✊🏾
I really love Wes Craven's New Nightmare!! It's one of my top 5 favorite movies of the franchise
Awesome Review, Man!!! Love Freddy!! :)
Horror Show Entertainment Thanks man me too!
that intro was everything!
Oh yes I love this movie..it was the first Nightmare I got to see in theaters...i still have my ticket stub and the Fangoria magazine for this movie..such a great movie and tribute to the original!
I like your shirt selection lol
Love the opening bits
i agree, this was a great concept and depiction of the Freddy characture bringing him back to his darker roots, loved it. could have done with out the the "use of the stollen PROP hand", the toungue stabbung scene (actuialy trying to be comical??? WRONG!) the expanding eating moulth, (and as you pointd out) the transforming exploding demond scene. Other than that loved it.
this intro made me laugh sooo hard bro also if you badass slashers review manic cop trust me you wont regret it bro
theenderhayden Thanks man. I'll put it on the list
In this film, Freddy is depicted much closer to what Wes Craven had originally intended for the character, much more menacing, much less comical, with an updated attire and appearance. However in 2015, before his death, he would admit he regretted changing his appearance and said: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Which was why he kept Ghostface's mask the same in every Scream movie.
The events in this film revolve around Heather Langenkamp having a stalker. In real life, she did have a stalker, and Wes Craven got her permission to weave it into the story.
The television show appearance was inspired by a real encounter. According to Wes Craven: "Robert Englund and I did an appearance together on public television in the San Francisco area. It was about whether this kind of movie was bad for children or not. There were parents in the audience and then kids. All the kids leaped to their feet and started chanting, 'Freddy! Freddy! Freddy!' I remember looking at the show host and the parents, and they all looked horrified."
In reality, Heather Langenkamp's real husband David LeRoy Anderson is a special effects man, as he is in the film.
The film has no opening titles to blur the illusion of whether it's a film, a documentary or something else altogether.
In the ending credits, Freddy Krueger is credited as himself, even though Robert Englund reprises the role.
The basic premise of the film, Freddy invading the real world and haunting the actors and crew responsible for the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" films, was originally intended to be used for A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987), inspired by the movie Return to Horror High (1987), but the idea was rejected by the studio at the time.
Before making this movie, Wes Craven watched all of the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" films. By the time he was finished, he claimed that he could not follow the storyline at all. He further regards the sequels to be weak compared to his original masterpiece.
Robert Englund has said this is his favorite movie of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise along with Freddy's makeup being his favorite look.
Wes Craven's daughter Jessica Craven appears as a nurse.
David LeRoy Anderson, who is Heather Langenkamp's real-life husband, declined to play himself.
Miko Hughes has kept the sewn up Rex dinosaur since filming. Wes Craven had an original copy without the scars.
The "bio-engineered" hand and glove that Freddy uses in this film (as opposed to the glove used in the prior films) is actually derived from the artwork of the theatrical poster and video box covers of A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984).
Heather Langenkamp and her real-life special effects artist husband David LeRoy Anderson had a son named Daniel (born 1991), serving as the basis for Heather's family in the film. Tragically, Daniel died in 2018 at the age of 26 as a result of a brain tumor, the same condition that had already taken director Wes Craven's life in 2015.
At three appearances, Heather Langenkamp has played the protagonist in the series more times than anyone else. However, none of her appearances have been consecutive.
At one hour and 52 minutes, this is the longest film in the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" franchise.
This is the first and, as of 2022, only movie in the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" franchise that doesn't have any opening credits.
At around 35 minutes) When Heather Langenkamp vomited in the morgue, she was spitting up a combination of clam chowder and bean soup.
The credits call Robert Englund's wife Patrice. In real life, his wife is Nancy Booth.
The scene where Freddy tries to swallow Dylan whole, is similar to the scene in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987), where the Freddy Snake tried to swallow Kristen whole.
After Heather makes the decision to play Nancy, the version of the house she enters has a blue door, like it did in the original. All the other sequels showed the house with a red door.
At around one hour and 40 minutes) In the final scene where Dylan stabs Freddy's tongue outside the oven, you can hear the famous Psycho (1960) shower scene music.
Freddy's death in this film is similar to his original death when he was burned alive by a group of vigilante parents.
This the only Nightmare on Elm Street movie where Freddy does not kill any teenagers. Every character killed in this movie is an adult.
Body Count: Four
In A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), the movie that Glenn watches on television to try to stay awake is The Evil Dead (1981). In this film, the movie that plays on television is A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984).
Great review! I love the shit out of this movie!!! I loved the movie about a movie aspect & the back to the sinister creepy Freddy & I love Freddy's look in this one. The kid that played Dylan is great...I do t think it would have come across as well if it was anyone else playing him. Plus if course heathers back so that's another reason I love it & I just love Robert so having him as himself in it was cool. I also always loved how they had lots of the older cast in the funeral scene. It is a slower movie but my love for it & all its glory makes up for that for me.
Im right there with you on all of that!
This movie to me was awesome. It gives you a unique spin on the characters and the franchise. I knew going in that it be different only because of the knowledge of dream warriors. Imo the way they explain the return of the characters made sense. The cgi of the Demon was bad but besides that I enjoyed the heck out of new nightmare
For giving us the original nightmare on elm street alone, Wes craven is the greatest horror director of all time
I disagree when you said this is a slasher film. Its got kills in it, but that doesn’t automatically make it a slasher. It’s clearly taking the concept in a different direction and yes Freddy is a slasher icon but again, different interpretation of the character and concept. This is almost more a supernatural thriller/horror. So the lack of over the top inventive kill’s never bothered me.
(Also love your reviews, I just found the channel and am backtracking through reviews.)
Hey Dillan, ever played skin in the cat?
If i somehow know the plot, but didn't watch the movies, are e they necessary for Wes Craven's New Nightmare?
Are you going to review Scream series or to do your ranking at Wes Craven's movies, just Nightmares that belong to him and Scream series.. M
"Hey Dylan. Ever play...skin the cat?"
All of the nightmare on elm Street is awesome i loved how each other one is different and got a different feelings in each flim to them
I absolutely love this movie great great review brother
I loved this movie the first time I saw it, and I love it still to this day. Top 3 of the franchise for me
I love this movie. I didn't really start to appreciate this until I was much older. As a kid you want to see Freddy and the nightmares which you really don't get that much in this one. As a adult It actually became one of my favs. The storyline is awesome and loved that they brought Heather back.
That was a great intro
Only ever seen the first film, can I just watch 1-3 and then this one, will I miss anything I need to know? Not sure 4-6 sound like they’re worth watching
this review to Wes Carven,s new nightmare was cool it really was Freddy slashed the heck out of Juile.
Basically all three movies with Heather Langenkamp are the only ones worth watching
Craven an a friend of his actually wrote a draft for Dream Master about Time travel in Dreams. But the studio passed for me even though Dream Master is my personal fav because of how fun it is.Part 1 is by far the best to me an the scariest.Followed by Dream Warriors then New Nightmare.New Nightmare an Dream Warriors are very close in quality for me.I think Dream Warriors edges it out just a little. But I will say I think New Nightmare in scarier then Dream Warriors.I like Dream warriors a little more but Freddy I dont find scary in that film. Were as I honestly think New Nightmare is pretty creepy.I also think New Nightmare is the most adult Nightmare film.Even if some body liked Freedys Dead I really dont see any way it could have been followed up with a super scary Nightmare sequel.Unless they did something totally different.I think this was the correct way to do the next film.
You have A LOT of black t-shirts man 😁. Excellent review as always Cody. I should watch this franchise.
You should absolutely watch the franchise btw.
Cody Leach 😂, that makes 2 of us, my man...except my t-shirts are characterized
yes, this one is my favorite 😊 I've always loved this one even as a kid. I'm surprised it doesn't get the recognition it deserves but I still think it's great, the fact that they brought heather back is awesome, yes Alice was good, but I always thought heather was the best final girl in this series, I feel like her and Robert England really own this franchise, so great review, pretty much agreed on everything 😋🖒🖒
FEE LYNN yes, she is beautiful 😊 and one of the best final girls from the 80s I like that they never made her look slutty, she really came off as good but also tough
Do you prefer Tommy Jarvis or Nancy ?
Probably need to rewatch this movie soon .
+Nick Perkins It's a cool movie to revisit
The claws ripping through the bed is the only thing that has ever scared me about Freddy and I kind of wished they'd focused on a kill with that. Imagine sleeping and having a bad dream and waking up with 4 deep ass holes through you. If you wake up.
The best jump scare to come to mind. Even after anticipating, I would jump at Freddy jumping out from the closet.
Besides maybe one and three this is one of my favorite movies of this franchise and actually let me rephrase that
One of my favorite movies of all time in my top 20 for sure
That would also literally be my reaction if Freddy was in my closet lol
I can’t get enough of that intro it is EXACTLY what i would say if freddy came to me
