During my adventurous trip to Goa, I embarked on a transformative journey by getting a captivating tattoo. Following this artistic milestone, my cousin Peachez and I embarked on a quest for nourishment, which unexpectedly led us to a serendipitous encounter with a distinguished Canadian gentleman adorned in awe-inspiring ink. Intrigued by his body art, he graciously introduced me to his incredibly talented tattoo artist, who coincidentally resided in the vibrant city of Bangkok. Driven by an irresistible desire to experience this renowned artist's skill firsthand, my cousin and I promptly seized the opportunity and swiftly arranged a flight to Thailand, where I ultimately achieved my next extraordinary tattoo masterpiece.

as someone who lived in goa for 10 years, you went to south goa, basically where most goans go for vacation:) pretty glad you liked everything and that goa changed your view of india, there's always a stereotype of it being unhygienic, disgusting, and nobody should ever go there. the tattoos look just amazing! i love them!:)

Exactly. She focused more on the poverty and smell and stuff rather than the actual beauty. She may have said some good things but couldn’t she have avoided badmouthing us? Poverty is everywhere in every country, India just has more people, not more poverty.
In the short she made about this video she said nothing good apart from that the tattoo was “surprisingly good”.

"Sanitation guidelines are iffy" what? Then proceeds to show a well clean place with a tattoo artist with gloves. You treated India disrespectfully. You literally presented Phillipines so nicely while you got a janky tattoo from a person who used potatoe and you BLED. That's okay for Sanitation????? Rightttttt.

I am Indian u r Indian we both know our sanitary conditions. So for a foreigner who doesn’t know a lot about India might be a lil worried about getting some work done here that includes Needles. Ofc we have good hospitals for surgeries but we’re not talking about that here.
And do u work in that restaurant/cafe where she was eating? Is that why u r saying “yes we have ketchup ?”
I mean some places don’t have ketchup in India .. they give only mayo or chutney.. maybe she was wondering if the place had ketchup.

@@yogi8387 I am not being mean. I have watched their videos otherwise and I have seen how they treat places they approve of. Have you seen their Vietnam/Japam/Phillipines videos? Did you see the conditions they got their tattoo in there? No complaints, no mentions of sanitations when they got it from in sanitized needle. This video was made after the fact in India. They got it and THEN talked about fear of sanitization when they SAW IT WAS PRISTINE clean. Also maybe a good idea to RESEARCH BEFORE YOU get tattoo of the sanitization guidelines. I am saddened by the presentation of India they are giving. India is large and diverse and ofcorse has issues but to present issues where there weren't? Yaa that's not okay. Also rude and mean would be me calling them names. I said I was disappointed that's my OPINION. You can choose to ignore and never @ me again. Thank you

What is with her room?
Her room is perfectly fine, maybe a little cluttered but not dirty by any means. And its normal to be concerned about sanitation when you're getting a needle pressed into your skin. Infections are real, people and can be very dangerous.

There's thousands of places where they follow all sanitation protocols to change needles, wear gloves etc but if you don't want that then it's on you.
Getting a tattoo is very different than the cleanliness of your room.

Ma'am, you're not only criticizing our country but also our culture. You are inappropriately wearing dreadlocks and disrespecting cows??? We consider cows very holy. Talking about sanitation and wanting to get out of it, you shouldn't be coming in the first place if you want to put our country and culture down. Visiting a tourist spot and talking about sanitation. You can put out your opinions as much as you want, but stop being so judgemental and study the cultures of the countries before visiting.

Imagine being this full of yourself. Dreadlocks are a part of many different cultures, in all different parts of the world. Her hairstyle isn't dreadlocks anyway.
She clearly did study the culture. Which is why she was so rightfully concerned about sanitation. Over half of the deaths in India are caused by some form of poor hygiene or food safety.
Just because something is "cultural" doesn't mean it's okay.
Not being able to take even the simplest of jokes or criticism is a huge red flag for any country.
The amount of people being personally offended by this video (and the short) prove why people have such bad impressions of Africa.
