Thanks for the idea of dismounting the neck. Wasn't sure what to do with the Floyd Rose and with your solution, no problem !
Insanely good video. Thank you
clean
I have a question. I have an Ibanez with 2 Humbuckers and i want to rotate the neck pickup because i want the White coil to be closest to the neck because I think it looks better. The thing is that when I choose position 4 on the 5 way switch now the outer coil of the neck pickup is active together with the bridge pickup. I still want the inner coils to be the active ones in position 4. I found a forum that said: "The correct wiring should be replacing the North START with South END and North END with South START." So that will change which coil that will be active? but they will be out of phase so i need to change the phase of the bridge pickup?
Awesome, thanks so much. I wish I would have replaced mine. I recently lowered the acting, put on 9# strings, and changed the nut, which all really helped. I just ordered some Seymour Duncans. Turned a $400 guitar into a better playing $700 guitar now. That will be all I do. Next will be an entire guitar upgrade but why not make what you have the best it can be. I do love my Ibanez but have hated the tone and playability. It's getting there. Not everything can be fixed with a "plug-in":-)
That’s such a weird mount with the springs. Like you said why not just use thicker foam? Strange.
Der Andreas hat Wurstfinger!🤣 Danke fürs Video! Kann bestimmt mal gebraucht werden! Super erklärt!👍
Thanks for the video. What kind of foam is that for the pickups that you used? I'd like to order some
Hmmmm... not sure about that foam, it will wear down much quicker than springs. There is a reason it does not come standard. Right?
Contemporary hehe. Cool vid!
Mal eine Frage.Wie stark dämpft diese ,,Kosmonauten,, Vibratosystem? Muss man evtl. durch höheren Potiwert ewas ausgleichen?
Moin, war ok! Ist ein Astronauten Vibrato! 500k reichten!
What is the resistance value of these potentiometers?
Judging by Internet wiring diagrams they should be 500k
500Kohms
Pickup 1mm from the high E string, damn that's close.
Es hat schon etwas ,,therapeutisches,, dem Andreas beim löten zu zu schauen. 🎸😂
Wow this looks a bit too complicated. Think if I decide to change pickups I will pay a professional.
Easy Peasy.....
Why in the world would you take the neck off? Just loosen the strings.
