Audi A6 C7 Black screen quick fix

Hello again , this is a short video for those of you who own an audi a6 c7 who has problems with the navigation display , info display.. everything works fine , sound..buttons beside the display..pinch black. As i always say, do it at your own risk..if you have minimal knowledge about cars and electrical stuff..you can do it.

thanks for the video, this fixed my screen. I had two breaks in the brown wire and one in the pink and blue, fuse was blown as well

Very helpful video, took me a while to find the broken wire. The wire had become very brittle and had completely snapped I'm guessing this is quite a common problem with the wires aging and constantly moving with screen.

I followed this video a few years back, It worked perfectly. This week it happened again with another part of the wire. I tried this video again and it worked again, except, this time when I turned my car back on the ac didn’t work. The ac center vent got plugged back in like normal and now my ac is blowing really hot. Did anyone else experience this?

Instead of taking everything apart, you should have checked and replaced the fuse first😅

You din’t watch the video, because of the shorted ground and positive wires the fuse was blown. After you fix the wires you change also the fuse.

My issue is that screen works as it comes out, horizontal position, and then once it start pivoting (going vertical) screen goes black!?
Is this the same problem?
