She just passed away from COVID-related causes, after 15 years together. As she lay dying, I sang it to her, and I could see her eyes move, in response. The line "When tragedy befalls you, don't let it drag you down, love can cure your problems, you're so lucky I'm around," just sets me to crying, right now; but, in a joyful way, as it reminds me how lucky I was . The plotline about Dan Aykroyd trying to set up a union for hit men and getting killed by by having an old-fashioned boxy tv smashed down on his head also adds a lot to the film.

Like many of the commenters on here, this was my wedding song. My beautiful wife and I married 25 glorious years this past September. This past October she passed after a 10 year battle with cancer. I miss her terrible and will love her until my dying day.

She passed away in 2022 from autoimmune disease...it's been an incredibly difficult year for our family .
