Im planning on ordering a couple to fix my controllers, however I was wondering if these new membranes are pressure sensitive like the original ones? Have you tested that out? An answer would be greatly appreciated!
Hi. Yes. The ones I ordered where pressure sensitive. I ordered two different types with different amount of connecting fingers and connectors. But my experience was that I could use the ones with less fingers on all of them. One of the connecting fingers seems to be for grounding only. It isn't really needed. Maybe it is for getting rid of ghost pressings because of interference from radio waves. But I just ignored connecting it on some controllers and it still worked. Good luck replacing membrane. It is a bit tricky.
Hi. There could be several reasons why your button is hard to push. If it is new old stock I would guess it is assembled incorrectly. Also if it has been refurbished. Otherwise if it is a used one I would think there is some gunk inside like soda or maybe something else. You know from using it and eating snacks at same time. Take it apart and try fix it. What have you to loose. It isn't working properly anyway. Good luck. But you decide for yourself. If you feel it is too difficult or you are afraid to make it worse. Then ask someone to do it for you. It can be tricky without damaging it. This things are old and fragile now. Even if new old stock.

@@igvloso Yes. All replacement membranes I have used do that. I think they are exact replicas.
