Purchased this the minute it was released and almost immediately felt like it was an impulsive buy after I clicked the pay button. The subsequent negative reviews on the quality of the EP-133 didn't help. But man, watching you work your magic so effortlessly on the EP makes me glad I bought it. That beat was fly. Thanks man as always.
Yes you can use it as a midi controller, and you can also use connect MIDI keyboards to control it polyphonically, provided you have a MIDI out on that controller, or a Midi host adapter if it's only USB
Hey L.Dre! The stuttering issue likely stems from recording video onto a hard drive using a cable that cannot transfer data at a sufficient pass-through speed.
That’s exactly what happened! I was filming that angle on my iPhone 15 Pro to an ssd but I used a longer usb c cable that I guess was not the right move
I do want this… i really wanted this but then I picked up the Push 3 because as a rapper with a band I needed a device that has the capacity to let me play my samples, jam with my team but also have enough storage to allow all my hefty files😢 Finding out that theres no external storage option was a shame so ima give the push 3 a chance you get to keep it for free for 30 days
@@LDreTheGiant yeahh it just looks super cool to me so it wouldve perfect for my purpose if it had the memory mainly. The Sp404 as well is a option but i dont think id use it I brought the Koala app instead for the KO-ii type of fun so for people who dont want to pay for this yet, I recommend getting that app on your mobile or tablet
@@TeePeters Yo, that's what I did. I got NAS access (Samba) on my Koala tablet, and my complete sample library is usable 😁. TE is known for special editions, so we can hope for hardware upgrades.
You should protect the fader when using it outdoors. Some sort of a deck saver to avoid hits when it's in the bag. Maybe I'll get the next hardware revision, but the current one is doomed.
Its a gorgeous thing but already got Sp404 and Smpltrek so this didnt bring anything new to the table. I also deeply love the simplicity of the 16 grind matrix on the KO1 and this thing just made things more complicated. Still. What a beauty.
But the design beauty kill usefulness to be honest. Its a a nice device for a toy but drop a 100 more and you have the sp 404 mk2 which is 1000x better/.
@@TheChameleon2008 MPC is a lot more money, my old samplers cost me a grand each in the 90's!! This is fun and gets me back into my old sampler days, may have to get an MPC oneplus soon!
love the chops! Did you change anything in sound editing mode, so that when you play pad 1 and then 2, pad 2 stops playing pad1? I read about mute groups in the manual, which should do the trick I guess. Need to learn more 😂 edit: i just followed the exact procedure as you did with the chopping and then checked the chops individually via sound edit mode. apparently the KO II automatically puts all the chops into one mute group, thus they cut off each other when playing another pad before the one before stopped.
I love the touch sensitive pad fx, but don't feel a need for this. I don't like relearning machines when I want to use them. I'd play with it & sell it. Dont see myself keeping this.
Great video bro and I sold all my TE gear and now got the sp 404 mk2 and im so done with TE. TE you pay for the looks rather then real usefulness. So many people received a lemon device with shitty faders and terrible buttons. At first i thought the 300 price range was low but to be honest its 300 for a toy with 64mb and no sd card slot.....
don't buy this shit for 330 Euro but a 198 Euro Roland Aira TD 3 granular sampler! With tone of effect and possibility!roland has just made you KO now..🤣😅
@@animbot6817 maybe you like toys more then real devices? Because 300 for a upgraded po33 with 64mb storage is just nuts. for 100 more you have a 404 with 300 minute record time and way more features.
It's not easy for you. Let's be clear. All the other hundred + videos, including myself, it is easy. All the reviews out there say it's easy, and, it is. Not sure what it's hard for you.
this channel turned into a kinda chillzone for me. Every video has a crazy vibe. thanks for giving us that gift. much love
Thanks for sharing that means a lot 🙏🏾
im ngl the way the video glitch happened looks so cool! almost gives a stop motion-y feel to it
Yeah I was gonna say looks like claymation
Literally the easiest Sampler I've ever used (besides my Ensoniq Mirage back in 1984.) Either way, its super fun though.

Yeah man like I said it’s not replacing in samplers like the MPC or sp-404 but it’s fun and the limitations are inspiring
How much you selling it for tho?
damn, I love this peace of tech. This will be my next purchase for shure!
It’s dope!
Man thank you. I think you officially sold me on this joint. Even with you figuring it out, that looks fun. Salute brother.
great vid. deff gonna check that one out
Thank you 🙏🏾
getting this soon as TE fix the fader problem.

Brilliant, thanks mate, watched this and used S1 as midi controller for my K02.
i come for da vibes, i stay for da vibez
Beat you made is fire 🔥
It totally has an 80s calculator vibe. PS: finally someone who knows how to do the "unboxing" video edits parts! 😁
I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what you do with this!
Great vibes, and video. Thank you!

Honestly can’t even compare this to the push 3 at all. This is like a baby toy compared to that lol

Killer first beat and tutorial while still learning to use it! Thanks
What’s the sample
I love this beat you made on the K.O II, where can I listen to it?

It looks so dope but yeah lots of people having problems
Yeah it’s fun tho
That video glitch is so cool
That glitch go kinda hard tho
I really enjoyed your presentation style, so subscribed!
epic video, thank you! ...i'd love to know the youtube clip you were sampling... so peaceful!
I'm on the edge of bying the bag too... and BTW: The built quality is much better than what initial reviewers would make You think.
I'll stick with my akai mpc one😂
Nice beat.
Bro you wanna collaborate? I have a sick lofi beat coming up and would love to have you on it!
notification gang!!
🤞🏾✊🏾🙏🏾

Your minus button is turned sideways, but at least your unit works!
Yeah was easy to pop it off and fix it

@@TheChameleon2008 Definitely. Plus, it's not really "Pocket". The Woovebox is currently waiting for me in the customs. Have high hopes for that.
@@littlehopeleft Hmm, had to look it up but it does indeed look awesome for a pocket size groovebox!
Its a great machine, it gets me back into making beats and playing rather than editing things endlessly on a DAW. So much fun and sounds good too!

i was actually thinking why the song sounded so familiar, just remembered it’s some old filipino song lol
it takes. minute to learn n it really wants you to play live

Wow you are thee guy that made Steven University 😯😊💅
Wat??? Your "-" key is turned the wrong way.
It’s actually pretty easy though 😅😂
Mine did belong to those with a broke fader. Why you didn’t talk about the fader, the most important thing on this device?
Bro, your inserts with a lagging camera with 5 fps break my perception. It feels like my phone got freeze
Can we do DJ on it?

Sure normally I might agree with you but in this case, a $300 sampler with the features it offers isn't overpriced.
