By American standards, the international standard prior to the US entering the war was 10 victories for ace. It was reduced to 5 for Americans since it was thought they would not have enough time to reach 10. The more you know
Dude I love your coverage of this game. I just finally pulled the trigger on it and I love it. Probably start my own series much to the disappointment of my helicopter fans haha. Yours sets the standard tho. Keep it up.
THE pilots called their new planes crates as thats how they were delivered to the mecs in crates, when they were put together they called them Kites,ie im just waiting on a new crate coming.
That albatros pilot that chased you deep into enemy territory is a dishonorable and stupid pilot. I died chasing a guy deep into enemy territory. I am impressed, your flying skills might earn a spot amongst my circus, regardless of being on the Allied side. And cue No Time For Caution at 20:39
Man I got really bummed out when I finally looked to see how much flying circus was sadly it looks like I'm gonna have to live vicariously through you for the foreseeable future
Congratulations Sir! Luckily my good friend Bob Tayle lives down the road from that particular airfield and it was none other than HIM who taught me all I know about aviation mechanics so your crate is in more than good hands! The German crew came down about a half a mile from where you landed and they are now languishing in the good hands of the local Constabulary. Herr Piess and his gunner, Herr Tuddeay are refusing to talk about enemy movements and Herr Piess seems altogether obsessed with hastening your demise!! I will, as ever, dispatch transport to assist in your return to the bosom of your home airfield right away!!
Thank you sir!! Somehow I manage to be surrounded by the best mechanics everywhere I go! ;) As for the angry prisoners. It looks like I'll have a price placed on my head by the huns in no time...
I am happier than a hot pig in cold mud or a weight watchers group meeting at Golden Corral. Glad to see a WW1 video back I'm loading my new pc this week and putting IL-2 on it and SH3. but I'll still watch and support your vlog.
eeerrrh remind me never to fly in the space airspace as you when ur pissed at the enemy lol you gave em a hammering, your pitch and rudder control has improved dramatically good job man and what a fantastic and solid burst on that Hun that was chasing you, turned round so fast i bet he didn`t expect it, it so satisfying to pull of a shot like that when u need it the most and i'am pretty sure you set that two-seater on fire, the one you attacked from the waist \ side so i think you got either 4 kills with the two-seater being 5 i think ur camel buddy just shot at it if not then you got 5 and half kills, being shared which is funny cos you shot up the front end of a two seater and got half a kill arhahahaha
thank you wolfpack i`ve been loving the Bi-plane series, i don`t know alot about WW1 in compassion to WW2 i think the german planes have better performance and are a bit more hi tech, i do believe there focus was on speed and they carried that all the way though WW1 and WW2, at least from what i`ve seen, except the Focket Tri-plane is that slower than some British bi-planes? i know its a true dog fighter 3 wings giving it exceptional lift at low speeds would not surprise me if it has a lower stall speed than all other contenders..
One video closer to Wolfpack having Gal Gadot as his guest on a drunken livestream ! If we believe it will happen. Will she be able to keep her hands to herself as they hang out is the only question.
I think the Camel likes turning right but hates turning left. Gyroscopic effect with the rotary engine. Nice shooting! Ace in a day, what a way to start your career! Almost ended it a day too, but let’s not dwell on that...
Hi Wolfpack Excellent entertainmant, this video. Well done. I've got a question. Is there actually a big difference between the IL-2 Flying Circus and the Rise of Flight game? I can't make out the difference by just watching videos and reviews of the two games.
Flying Circus is an updated and improved version of Rise of Flight with the option to play in VR. Rise of Flight has many more planes than Flying Circus at the moment.
British political nonsense kept them out of the cockpit for their pilots. It was thought by the 'great lords' that pilots with parachutes would be cowards. Let that sink in.
I can hear Biggles now - “Don’t cross the line under 5000ft...”
Good timing!! Continue putting up vids! Your efforts are appreciated!
Thanks!! I sure will continue to put them up.

Better than calling them coffins.
Playing the Spring Offensive at the same time, so great fun to watch! :)
Awesome!! Happy Hunting!
Definitely enjoy all your series. Keep the great work.
Thank you!
Yay, more Flying Circus! I really enjoyed Kaiserschlacht so I hope you'll do well on the other side of the conflict as well. Good hunting pilot.
Thank you! I really enjoyed the Kaiserschlacht series as well. Hopefully this one will go well!
Based on the first 10min here, you have your marksmanship/gunnery down... brutal first pass.
Thanks!!

Hope you enjoyed it!
@@Wolfpack345 do you have any 'how to' videos? Setting up tracker and camera views etc?
Nice! Been looking forward to more Flying Circus. Keep em Coming.
Thank you!!
A new series? Awesome.
It is about time!
Please keep playing IL-2 flying circus spring offensive. Everytime a video drops I'll hit that like button+ I already subscribed.

Good start to the new series.

Ace in a flight Grats
Thank you.
Very nice vid
Thank you.
Makes me remember of Flying Corps.
Such a pretty game.
Set on fire is what happens to others. Caught on fire is what happens to you.

First time I've seen a bail out using a parachute in a WW1 IL2.
Nice job 👍🏼
I understand that to destroy a balloon, the pilot had to experiment with various sequences of tracer and other types of rounds in the magazines.
I found the rotary engine characteristic was only an issue when taking off, I soon got used to it.
such a smooth camera movements and aiming, are you using some eye tracking or? if so which one?
Loved it!
Happy to hear it!
Ack-Ack is short for AA, ie anti-aircraft. British phonetic alphabet in 1918 used Ack for A.
Ack, Beer, Cork etc etc.
Good shooting Wolfpack! :) Noticed the Sopwith has an altimeter, is that a luxury in those WW1 biplanes?
A lot of the Entente aircraft seem to have them.
Nice!
Thanks!!

do you use head tracking software/hardware or just the flightstick controls? VR?
What types are the German enemies at 0:18 in this one? Such beautiful birds.
Albatros D.V, right? (crazy nice video here: ruclips.net/video/UWxYAfwLdTs/видео.html)
They are indeed Albatrosses!
Do you recommend buying Flying Circus in 2021? Is there a campaign put in or is it better to play rise of flight first?
One video closer to Wolfpack having Gal Gadot as his guest on a drunken livestream ! If we believe it will happen. Will she be able to keep her hands to herself as they hang out is the only question.
Oh dear lmao

I was trying to figure out which way it liked to turn. Thanks!
That's what torque is
Was trim not a thing yet?
Been playing a lot of rise of flight recently. Spending a lot of time in the career mode. Is flying circus worth it?
Not enough lead with the pistol - it has a significantly lower velocity - you need to aim higher as well to allow for the greater bullet drop.
I wonder if he ever comes back to these comments
New to your channel, really good. How do you set up to use this program? Is it console or VR ? Keep'm flying
do you play this game with both the VR headset and a flight stick... i heard than you need to own il-2 BOS before you can buy flying circus..
Nothing is missing...so, technically one piece?
Sounds good enough to me!
Me too!!!
Does anybody know what that little propeller on the right does
Powers the fuel pump
Does this have a career mode like the other IL-2 games?
Are you starting to fire 1/3 of a second too late, in general?

No parachutes in WWI?
Only the Germans had them.

The Hun that would't leave you alone hit the dislike button i bet lol
Haha Probably!
Good luck with this campaign, hope you don't run into the pilot from your German campaign
I sure hope not!!
Looks great, shame it's waay overpriced. :(
So you have to be ai bristfit pilots to get escort I see. LOL
