31:05 A better idea would be to use the second option of the Impale card. You would lose 1 Cunning, 1 Metal and 1 Effort and you would kill the bear in 1 shot.
Dude, you're misunderstanding what a Fetish is. A fetish is a small statuette of sorts, possible made of string, sticks, etc. Can be of rock or metal. And often it's a worshipped goddess or god that is iconized to look like the wa the fetish does. It's not a sexy kink sort of fetish.
Question: when the KoBold shielded instead of wasting the attack, could you have converted some effort into medium effort or no? Just confused about it 15:41
I believe No! Because it says kobold ignores your next ATTACK, not your next turn or action. so even if you convert in this turn, he will ignore your next attack whenever you do it in later turns eventually and you have to face it. Richard did a right thing I think ( based on the rulebook, an attack is when you use your weapon)
@@robthomas7392 that is so weird. well if you cant get that to work, instead you can hit the ... below the video and choose transcripts, and then see a full listing of all the subtitles with timestamps...
@@rahdo omfg, I'm apparently brain damaged. I just realized the Klingon channel IS NOT ACTUALLY KLINGON LANGUAGE, y'all are just using for your own transcribed captioning, so you don't have to rely on RUclips's occasionally wonky auto-captions! *EpicFacepalm*
To be honest, to be fair with your viewers and with that may mistakes made you should remove this video and record it again - this time correctly. I am sorry for saying that, because I appreciate any good videos about board games, especially the gameplay during KS campaign.
the designer of the game disagrees with you... when he sent me a list of the goofs he noticed in the vid (most of which are small things of forgetting to take collect or spend some resource or other), he also added: "Very exciting run-through! Thanks again for doing this! Loved the on-the-fly descriptions of your adventures :)" So if he beleives it demonstrates his game to goof effect, i'm happy :)
Well, I am not talking about the game itself. Designer/producer is responsible for selling his game, while your video is another kind of product that you sell to you audience. Please accept is as a constructive criticism. Maybe it is only my opinion but as a customer I always provide honest feedback. If you treat this channel as a hobby, it is fine not to accept customer's voice, but if you want it to be really professional, I recommend to listen to customers (all of them, not only me). So as your customer and I am telling you that this video is pretty bad and it only confused me regarding what are the rules of this game so I had to watch another video to understand it (=choose your competitor, in business language). I wish you all the best, this is not a hate post, just a friendly advice.
well we'll have to agree to disagree. my only goal with these videos is to demonstrate what the game feels like to play, so consumers can make informed decisions about whether to buy or not. i'm not trying to teach the rules or anything like that. and i went back and checked, and in spite of a few little goofs here and there, i believe this video does what it set out to do: demonstrate the 'fun factor' of the game :)
I just got my copy and it is a LOT of fun to play! I was glad to see they took your suggestion and added a (SKILL) icon to the monster rewards.
So that is reprinted in the released game? Or are there editions?
I'm not sure. In my Kickstarter reward copy, the monster rewards include a (SKILL) icon.
Just received my copy in the mail today. Your the only video on how to play. Not bad
I think this was a realistic run through and appreciate the honest gameplay!
Victory Fanfare awww yea! Also, this is the best I've ever seen Rahdo roll
This is a realistic play through unlike Boardgame co op who’s fudging most of the time.

It was already noted... Like Rahdo says at the start of the 1st video, please turn on the Klingon subtitles to see where Richard goofs up… Thanks :)
I am so backing this thanks again
10:00 weird that you know in advance the monster that will ambush you.
Kosteri x disagree, you can scout around to see what monster is near you, then go around the caves exploring and the monster ambushes you.
Where I'm Earth can this game be bought ?
Looked just about everywhere without any luck.
Thank you.
Kind regards from GB.
it's not available yet... it was on kickstarter when i filmed this runthrough...
Thank you.
I shall be watching for it.
Yes. We want to see a fight! ^^ 12:35
17:17 Down to 6? Nope! Tracker is at 5.
bazookaxl I
I read the title and thought "An unbroken gameplay runthrough of what..?"
28:44 You don't need to spend on lvl 2 scout?
sorry but don't understand your question
That he did not spend 2 effort + 2 time to scout but just scouted.
24:37 Wouldn't spending the meat have been useful? It would've given you back some effort and given you the stronger effort.
meat is good :)

NOT IN MY DUNGEON! :)

yeah you can convert any time, but i probably forgot about that during iflming

Dont understand why spending 2 time on a card kills you. It doesnt uses effort so why then?
sorry i don't remember the circumstance... filmed this awhile ago
21:55 I think he meant 2 effort and not time.
But, yes he could've used time to play the card.
It was already noted... Like Rahdo says at the start of the 1st video, please turn on the Klingon subtitles to see where Richard goofs up… Thanks :)
The die is not needed if you put each outcome on an encounter. Dice make noise and tend to roll off the table
hrm i can't ever get the klingon subs to work...
really? how are you watching? browser? tv? smartphone?
@@rahdo browser (chrome)...the klingon captions just don't appear.. i can get english to come up, though...
