IMPORTANT QUESTION THOUGH I am dying and just trying to get something recorded to leave my friends and family behind. Since my friend couldn’t donate to my GoFundMe to help get me to the Mayo Clinic he’s letting me use his guitar center gear card.
So I’d like to ask your opinion.
I need something in the 1500 to 2K range that won’t give me any fret buzz and of course in that price range I’m expecting a graph tech nut and SS frets. Either a hard tail or ever tune.. locking tuners, etc. I HAVE NO USE FOR A WHAMMY BAR AND DON’T LIKE FLOYD ROSES
Problem is I have to order through guitar center because my friend who is letting me purchase only has a gear card so options on getting it shipped in a case are limited basically just to Ibanez who in my opinion haven’t really been keeping up lately.
I’m gonna post three links of ones that I’m interested in and if you have any input or advice, maybe even on a PRS. I mean, I did look at the Mark Holcomb six string, but HEARD some pretty bad things about it not to mention it doesn’t have any of the features you would hope.
I have the new Jackson pro signature series Roman baritone that jingers guitarist, came out with (green one) and it has all the features I like, especially when it comes to that wheel for relief, etc
      I mean..
I have a really good Luther. Touring artists use him and a lot of people drive from out of state just to use him. He’s great. Tuned in drop A# rn but it doesn’t matter what we do we just can’t seem to get rid of all the feet buzz. It’s been plekd etc the works.
And since I have a song or two that I are in drop C I decided even though I’ve spent money to try and get this thing to sound right that I was going to return it and get a regular 25.5 scale guitar in the 1500 to 2K price range, have it tuned to drop C and just use a digital drop pedal to get it down to drop a#
If I was just playing everything distorted, it wouldn’t be an issue, but I have verses that are clean so for recording purposes, that fret buzz is a no go.
Plus with all the blood clots I have and what not some in my hands. A standard scale guitar is a little bit easier to play right now.
These are the three I’m leaning towards. The Chapman is made in Korea I believe.
      Jackson, probably Indonesia
And the Ibanez from like 2020 is Japan, but I heard that the case it comes in basically just rest the Head stock against the floor of the case and it has active pick ups but I’m just trying to figure out which one of these three or anything else you would recommend I could check out because guitarAthon is almost over at GC
