Loved this video! Thank you for highlighting fall in Crested Butte, Colorado. We've only been once and it was in the summer time. Would love to plan a fall trip and explore it more. Congrats on making it to the top of that hike.
Welcome to Colorado! Crested Butte is one of my favorite places. The Crack Fries are for real. My son went to college in Gunnison. He wanted to take me to CB for a day. What a great town. I can't imagine doing a hike like that right after getting here from sea level. I went up again a couple years ago just to do some small hikes and take photos of the leaves changing. I'm glad you're enjoying our beautiful state.
Nice hike! We just got a dog, and I’m so excited to take her on hikes with us while traveling in our van. She’s been on a couple of van trips already and does great riding in the van. Thanks for sharing dog friendly places!
Altitude is no joke! We live in the Denver metro and went for a fall drive a couple weeks ago. Just a small incline at the continental divide had us out of breath. But boy, it sure is worth it to see the aspens!
Loved it!! So glad you were able to catch some of the colors, and the drone footage was a perfect way to convey them. Glad you had a good time there. I know that road, and my tip would have been to air down some to make the ride smoother. Until next time... (and I know what the upcoming destination is {lol})... travel safe.
That was a rough hike! I’ve hiked at higher elevations a couple of times and I just felt like I couldn’t catch my breath. Rough! What a sense of accomplishment you must have felt!! Can’t wait to see what you’re up to next week 🌴
First time watching your channel and you begin with "We're gonna start with video the right way with pizza"... and yup, SUBSCRIBED!!! I didn't even get to the actually pizza. I just subscribed right at that moment.
Cows. Same thing happened to us in Arizona once. Pulled into BLM late in the afternoon and in the morning there were a dozen cows very close by and some hoof prints just outside the rig. Altitude sickness. Stayed in a spot over 10K feet in Utah and our O2 sats were way down and heart rates way up. that was a tough trip for a couple days. another beautiful location and a fine video. Thank you for making and sharing with us.
We 100% would have messaged you if we had made it to Denver! We ended up leaving Colorado via Pueblo so we didn't make it that far north this time. For sure next time though!!
When you make it back to CB and want to try mountain biking, shoot me a message and we can hook you up with a bike rental - I own one of the bike shops in town!

Thanks, y'all! Crested butte was so beautiful. I'd love to visit in the summer next time. :)
Fall in the mountains is such a great time! Haven't been to CO yet but it's on the list.
It's absolutely stunning in the fall!

😮💨 it really is!
Oh my goodness! This makes us miss CO so much! It’s not as easy to get to nowadays for us! 😂
Oh man, y'all used to be so close to CO in Kansas!
So fun to watch! Our old stomping grounds was in the 14’er territory of Salida, CO. Nothing like aspens and pines and CO blue sky in the fall. ❤❤
Agreed! Absolutely gorgeous!

Thanks, y'all! Colorado is absolutely STUNNING in the fall! You get to call an incredible place home. ☺️
The sea level sissy struggle is real 🥲😂 definitely adding this area to my list of places to visit!
😂
drove through rio grande national forest today and the aspens were beautiful!

@@chrisandsara I've been traveling so much I was probably out of town! Great video though! Those 14'ers are no joke!
It really looks like you are enjoying your new rig! Would you make any other changes, other than power?
We made a few small changes but nothing major :)
