Great video thank you for your time to create and share. My partner and I are heading to Rotan, Belize and Cozumel next week for our first cruise and we’re can’t wait. The tip about reef safe sun block was great! Bet we are also headed to CDMX the last week of Jan for a traditional week of exploring and taco eating!
Some very good info! You didn't mention Mazatlan, but I may know why. Either way, there are so many places to see and enjoy! I am looking forward to my trip in a few weeks! We have a home in Mazatlan and are taking the kids with us this time! Should be a blast! 😀😎
● Hello, how are you? I am a regular viewer of your RUclips channel. I came here to say that- "Your channel always leaves me excited for the next upload!" Good Luck
Enjoying your videos so much! I’m learning a lot. We have two dogs and will be driving. Once there, can you take your dogs on the train or the ferry that goes from Baja to the mainland. What do you do with Kramer if you can’t take him? Thanks so much.
Thanks for all the helpful tips! Which service provider do you use on your phone when stateside? Still google fi? And would really appreciate it if you could show the whole ATM experience that everyone talks about how you’re supposed to decline the initial conversion rate. It would be helpful to see the screen, im assuming it’s all in spanish (?), and what exactly happens after that, eg do you have to accept the second step/screen? Thanks!!
Hey! Thanks so much for watching. To answer your questions, yes, we're still on GoogleFi. As far as the ATMs go, most have an English setting you can click (or we will pull out our phone and use Google Translator). Honestly, it's very much like a normal ATM. The conversion rate you're talking about typically pops up at stores and it'll ask if you want to pay USD or MXN...always choose MXN. Hope this helps!
In October I was in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, about an hour South of Cancun. I felt EXTREMELY SAFE on the main roads between Cancun and South to Tulum. Traveling to Zona Arqueológica de Ek Balam to climb a Mayan ruin was uneventful, but close to the ruins I passed bicycle riders who DID NOT feel safe on the road. One bicycle rider had a rifle strapped to his bicycle while another had a machete attached to his bicycle. I found Tacos de Birria "El Compa" in Playa del Carmen which is so good I was eating with a truck of Mexican National Guard machine gun-toting troops on my first of many visits. One downside of my visit was the unexpectedly HIGH cost of groceries. I was renting a condominium and prefer to cook my own food. I even went to Sam's Club and pizzas were about $15 vs $9 in the US. Basics like chicken breast were also exceedingly high. I went to multiple local groceries as well as Wal-Mart. Any suggestions on where to find cheap groceries? These prices seem impossibly expensive for Mexicans who make MXN $31.12/HR or USD $1.53/HR.
I think you con fina better prices in popular local marketing, like Mercado Público Municipal, Mercado de Nuestra señora del Carmen, Mercado Playa del Carmen de la Diez, where is the local people buys.

@@chrisandsaradon’t slow it down, I love that you get the information out there quickly. Haha
I like it.
I usually playback most videos at 1.25x or 1.5x speed, but "normal" speed is fine here.😂
FYI...go to "settings".
You can decrease or increase video speed😉
