And that is all the free parts? Polish everywhere and even new sectors? Nice! And especially thank you for the colorblind stuff. I don't need it in X, but in other games that is literally life saving.

They keep on polishing it. If they manage to address the remaining gripes this community has this might just be the best space game ever.

yeah i almost screamed not sure why interiors has me so excited of all the things, but AI improvements and QoL stuff is also high up there.
I have been waiting for this for a very long time
Now if only they were completely optional. Stopped playing after 40h because I hate space legs so much. Hell I even stopped playing hardspace ship breaker because of their "space legs" update (Where they replaced their menu with a point and click space leg bullshit). And I should add that it really doesn't make the game bad or anything objectively it is a good game, I just really really really really hate space legs. lol.

I don't know why but watching the familiar X3 zoom feature makes me happy!
That made me so giggly and happy! I wanted this feature for ages! Finally I'll be able to see those ships and stations and dangers from afar instead of just having to use the map!
I had to poke too often to get this on the todo list, happy to have it now in game. Such a QOL feature :)

From the moment I purchased X2 many years ago, I have continually believed that Egosoft is the best game developer in the business. They continue to give us X fans what we want. Yes....I will purchase anything they put out. Period.

es gibt wenig Titel die immer einen Platz auf meiner SSD haben, aber X4 ist stabil immer dabei (und ganz vorne).

So nice to see the X-Universe alive and thriving! First played X:BTF as a child when my dad bought me the "Computer Bild Spiele"-magazine here in Germany, with a big article about it and even a sector map I could use and plan my adventures. Now, even if I don't have that much time to play, I am still hooked to X in form of X4 and I love every little bit that gets added.
X4 is a gift that keeps on giving. I'll finish the PC before the update oficialy drops!
This is wonderful! I was first introduced to the X series, starting with X3. And it was cool! I like the ships and plot better in X3. I had to get used to the X4 in a new way, especially to the controls.
In general, what is missing in X4 is the maintenance of your empire (staff/pilots/stations, etc..). When they added terraforming, someone said that it was for those who had nowhere to put their credits.
It would be cool if in the next X series they added a hidden sector for each faction, so that in the event of a global war, the faction could survive and not be destroyed by the players themselves. The idea of Crisis in X4 is really cool news. Looking forward to the release!

This looks like one helluva QoL improvement! The capturable Xenon designs and interiors look outstanding. Egosoft have really smashed it using X4:Foundations as the basis for the next generation of the series.

I'm amazed over how this small independent team has not only released multiple "best x4 game ever" games, but they continue to
release gamechanging and improving updates . I tip my hat.
Side note : I'm still waiting for the DLC or update which gives us access to the ships from X:Rebirth , because those were some of the
best designed ships Egosoft has ever made .. Arawn, Taranis, Sucellus, Titurel, Olmekron, Fulmekron, Super Freighter, Scaldis... awesome ships.
And ... just the *SOUND* when flying past the Arawn or Taranis ... simple breathtaking sound, i loved it.
More control options, FOV, better AI, improved graphics engine... I'm always in love whenever I see an update with QoL features from whatever game I play. I haven't been playing in a while but I really look forward to some optimization, I'll definitely give it a try ! Thank you for your work 🙂
More people NEED to know about this amazing game. It is a staple in the Space community, why don't more know? This is an amazing game!
Folks only talk about NMS, Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous, but i played all this games, and X4 is the only one i consider my dream game!
@@efxnews4776 I feel exactly the same. Tried, tested and played extensively all the major or most famous Space Games out there... Nothing can beat or even come close to X4... X4 is by far the best single player Space Game ever.

I really would like to see X:Rebirth ships in X4, as it is still jarring that after few expansions we haven't still saw some of them even as a flying junk in space.

Glad to see focus on: graphics engine, and "new player". I've owned X4 for years, and had X3 etc. but never could sink in a continuous amount of hours... so I look forward to starting fresh with v7...

Looks incredible! The color palette makes it feel more alive. I can't wait to test out if the changes work well in a 600 hour save with the Xenon gone. The new sectors will give my fleet a good destination to head and I haven't been able to stretch the legs on my Asgard yet!
I honestly think we should pay for this. This is a lot of effort from the devs and they deserve a reward
they´re basically doing the same as SCS does with their trucking games. Free updates, funded by major DLCs.

@@SlyNine I think that is for track IR. You can kind of get vr to work following an online guide. But didn’t get the head tracking working myself yet.
I feel like this game would be so much more popular if people knew what you could actually do in it. I've yet to see a trailer which goes through the fleet management or 'living' economy within the game which to me is one of its biggest selling points. The average person will see an X4 trailer and just think its an average space shooter like any other. The marketing could do with a lot of work in my opinion.

Problem is: how do you show the economy at work? And the fleet managment will not look so appealing, for some folks, for example, you basically manages the fleet on the overview map, but once you gave them orders, you get limited to what you could do with the fleet and this is hard to demonstrate properly...
But indeed i agree that X4 needs more marketing, because the game is amazing!
Even tho i dont feel like playing x4 at this point, i have bought every DLC just to support a game like this.

I hope the redesigned new player experience is what keeps me around this time. For years, I would start up X4, play for 5 or so hours, and then not play again until next year due to the confusing UI and lack of directions. Hopefully this helps me stick around longer, maybe help fulfill my dreams of building a space empire from the bottom.
I know this would sound, idiotic, but you need to play for at least some 12 hours X4 to finally get on in the experience, 5 hours is nothing... i have 5K hours playing this game, and i can tell that you barely scratch it's surface...

Theres not a single game that i had played more than X4, it's the only game i can literally stop playing for months come back and play all over again just to enjoy the new DLC, so many ways to go about, so many starts, custom starts, every playthrough is different from the previous one, in one you would literally have peace on the galaxy, in another there would be chaos, with wars everywhere, and other times the Xenon would conquer everything....
Sooo many good changes and additions in 7.0. Really impressive update!
