Ratcliff deal doesn't make sense. SInce when does a minority shareholder have full control of a major division of a company. Also, the whole point of a leveraged buy out is that somebody is willing to buy you out of your purchase. Assuming the Glazers put in $300m. Getting $5bn is a good deal, they can then invest that into their property portfolio as well as their NFL franchise.
