Thank you 🙏 ❤❤❤
I got 4 of them I love them I find them quite funny running around after food and making huge home for small spider and yes they love it damp 😅all the best buddy Martin 😅 ps bloomin long pre molt 😅
Spider shop said captive bread so must be mum and dad out there !!!!!
Captive bread? Release that bread immidiately, due to the Geneva convention!
Even bread has rights.
Just pulling your leg.😉😄
Captive-bred are the best, since breeding the spiders ourselves, minimizes the pressure on the wild populations.
Perfect! Just got a sling in a spa spiders mystery box i bought during Scott's live. Ive wanted to get 1 for sooooo long but i could never justify the expense. My mystery box was epic, got the £100 one & in it was
Davus sp Panama
Theraphosa Apophysis
Obt Usumbara
Avic rufa brazil
Thrixopelma sp golden blue
Ive had so much trouble finding info on the Thrixopelma though. Ive just had to set them up using the others in the species an example.
What a gorgeous spider and the webbing is absolutely spectacular as well. The reddish leading into the steely blue color of the legs. I love it! Gorgeous! Keep up the good work, Dave and Camera Lady!
Thank you so much 😀
What a smashin lil spider n luv the enclosure well done Dave n Camera Lady for another great vid ...
Another awesome species, good video Dave & Camera Lady. 😉😎👍
A very pretty spider
Another beautiful spider that I’ve never seen before. It will be interesting to see their growth documented at a later date. You make such lovely enclosures too! ☺️❤️
So nice of you 🙏❤️
She looks so much like a firery ember! Gorgeous little thing.
What a lovely little spider! Very attractive! Good luck growing it up... If anyone can breed this species it'll be you Dave!!! Have fun!!❤❤
That's the plan!🙏
Very pretty Tarantula. Caught my attention as soon as I seen the thumbnail.
Wow, such a pretty spider! It looks like its on fire! So pretty!
It really is!
Beautiful spider. So happy that Gravity did not curse you for this rehouse.
I like the enclosure simplicity - it lets the lovely spider stand out.
I love this channel .ty dave! I get to vicariously enjoy spiders even though i dont have any myself. Even my kitties enjoy watching 😂. I have some wonderful and funny spider stories from my time in the army.
I love this sp but i wouldn't say they were skittish... maybe when under an inch big but after that they are super sturdy and more curious like homoeomma, they are straight over to see whats going on but never in an defensive way , they are just really curious 😊 great upload Dave, Camera Lady 🖤🧡🖤
WOW! That is a gorgeous spider!!!! (which is one of the last things some of my friends would ever expect me to say, since I'm usually screaming and running away when I see one :D)
It all ways makes my day to see Dave and camera lady . i love this channel
❤❤❤
Me too!🥰❤️💛🧡💋
That is a beautiful spider
Also, thank you for showing more of the New World spiders! They are so beautiful. This one in particular! 😊
Oh that one is amazing!!! Love the flame legs!!!
This was the species that really pulled me into the tarantula hobby. It was and still is my #1. My wife got me a few for our anniversary, and they are such a joy to see out.
I really like the use of cork bark as a background like in an exo terra. I never considered that before, but will definitely try that out.
Absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you so much for sharing this beauty with all of us.
Fantastic camera work yet again Camera Lady❣️
You are so welcome❤️
One species I still really want!! Thanks Dave!
I really like that enclosure. Perfect size for a smaller spider and a person that doesn't have much space. Thank you for another great video. Really cool looking spider!!
She is one of the most beautiful spiders I have seen!❤
Dave...just turn the lid upside down :D
another fine and very educational video PROFF for a an amazing little spider. the colour is brilliant like lava. some great footage CAMERA LADY, many thanks guys and take care
I just picked up a D Panama, D pentaloris and D ruficeps at an expo Saturday. All ate fruit flies Sunday. Such a beautiful sling! Thanks as always for the video. Helpful as always!
Stunning spider! Our Pumpkin Patch we got from you molted this week and is looking awesome! Very keen to get some more dwarf species for the collection!🕷️
Awesome! Thank you!🙏 they really are bright when first moulted 👌
awesome spiders!
Such a beautiful spider!! Those colors! Also loved the enclosure. Great video, Dave!
I've had this species in my wishlist for awhile now. Will definitely be looking to purchase soon. My plan is to purchase multiple specimens to increase my chances of getting into breeding the more rare species.
They've been on my list forever too, but i could never justify the expense, £60-£70 for a tiny sling 😱!
but i got a spa spiders mystery box & i got 1 in there! Im over the moon
It's bum looks extremely similar to the Trinidad Dwarf Tiger, very pretty spider fingers crossed that it's a girl for you 🤞🏻
Still loving your videos and watching as soon as they pop up
Awesome work guys 😊👍🏻
Brilliant Dave as always, these are truly beautiful spiders 🕷 Dave,I've seen some videos about them in the past, they really are a wonderful species, anyway Dave that's another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
Many thanks 🙏
Very pretty spider. I hope it's a female. That enclosure is really cute. Another great job!
Thank you! 😊
Daveee! I have this lovely beauty. I had one that was a male that passed he was beautiful. Of course I had to get another one. Very hard to find.❤
I think those enclosures are very attractive - which I’m sure is somewhat less important to the spider.
Hello Dave and Camera Lady! Happy June to you. What a phenomenal video! I super enjoyed that. Such a pretty little spider. I look forward to the breeding program. Are you going to rehouse the other one? Maybe I missed that. Anyway, fabulous camera work CL! I could just about count the hairs on its little legs.😁 As always, it is good to see you both. Excellent content! Take care and have a lovely week! 💋🌼🏜️❤️🧡💛
Yes the other will be rehoused too , hopefully they mature in quick time 😂
Can't wait for an update, good job, as usual 😊
Thank you! 😊
I've seen a female two years ago at the big Austrian expo, but they were just way too expensive... I got two slings half the size of yours off a German breeder a year ago, they're stunning! No thread poses, no hair kicking, they do play dead though I noticed. Can't wait for mine to grow bigger.
Turn the lid upside down and use a suction cap to open them.
Cool animal, just shed out 5 adult male regalis here, much love from Illinois.
Very nice spider. I love it. Good job on the enclosure.
Great beasti time 👌
Soo beautiful, amazing colours😮🎉🎉🎉😊
was so excited to see this video posted! I have a lava spider, suspected female but haven’t confirmed with molts yet. im in the states so she was a bit pricey and I want to take the best care of her that I possibly can. thanks as always for the awesome video!
That is awesome! good luck with her 👍
Beautiful spider ❤
Absolutely gorgeous colouring !!! Cannor wait til they get full grown just gorgeous
She truly is a beautiful little girl, that enclosure looks really beautiful she is going to love exploring her surroundings. I love how tarantulas keep one foot in the old enclosure before committing to their new homes! Would this spider be suitable for a beginner? Great video as always! ❤❤❤
They can be delicate
Beautiful spider! Seems quite calm too. How about some nice pumice stones? Would fit, wouldn't it? Maybe those can act as a moisture regulator too?
Hi Dave, suggest to the makers of the aquarium to make the top a slider top so it slides under the the ledge of the trim whichs also makes it more secure, then you could stack them?! I dont know if there is a safe way for you to do it with the ones you have without seeing them in person! Just a suggestion suggestion! 😊
So pretty!
Thank you! 😊
What a great treat, dear Dave and Sweet Camera Lady! A beautiful spider and enclosure, too! Take care, and thank you so very much for yet another informative video! 👋🕷♥️👍
Thank you! You too!❤️
@@daveslittlebeasties 👋❤👍
Very nice Dave!
Nice spider, hope you have success with them Dave👍☺️
I hope so too👍
These are so so gorgeous looking ones OMG 😍
My second ❤ after Metallicas, but so so expensive 🤦 probably dute to their rarity within the hobby.
Been watching vids about them last week too, i'm glad You have them too and hopefully multiplying them in the future.
Thanks both for the awesome footage! 🙏
Why not turn the lid upside down so the handle isn't in the way so you can stack them and get a small suction cup to open and close them ?
what a stunner this ones defo going on the list with Typhochlaena seladonia also the OBT i got from u last sunday is doing amazingly
Can’t beat an OBT
in this age of 3D printing, I believe it would be easy to create a printed frame that would allow you to stack them.
Hello great video information and rehousing Dave
Thanks 👍
You can see where it gets the Lava in its name it has the colouring of Lava when its flowing and when its become stationary and cooled Red and Black like a Volcano 😊
When they dart away, is when I have to run and hide 😲
Great video guys thank you so much beautiful spider thank you xxxxx
🖤🔥🖤🔥🖤🔥🖤
Lovely markings on this one! I especially liked the flame effect on the abdomen. (Just a thought: Until you have more space, could you just invert the lid so you could stack the enclosures? With some kind of tape, you could make a temporary handle that could be forced flat when they're stacked and still have a way to easily lift the lid when needed.)
There not safe to stack on each other unfortunately
@@daveslittlebeasties Drat!
Awsome little spider 🤗
Great video Dave, I love the dwarf tarantulas but never had one
Great video Dave. The D. panama is such a great looking spider. I love the dwarf species, they always seem to be great eaters and have little characters. Dave - in a previous video you mentioned about recycling the substrate, I've always been throwing mine away as I've read that the urticating hairs of the different species could affect each other. Have you ever had any problems? I would love to recycle instead of throwing it away and wasting the substrate. 👍
I don’t use sub from bad hair kickers , you need to just look at it if it looks reasonable mix it in if it looks old and tired I throw it out 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties Great, thanks for the info Dave 👍
Flip the glass lids over...you can stack them
🕷️ ❤
don´t know if it works but it looks like you can flip the lit over and handle will be inside the enclosure and give ops of stagging them put a small stump of wire in on corner to help get the lit up
or just take 2 peace of wood just higher then handle or make a wood plad whit a slid fore the handle it just have to be a few mm bigger then the enclosure all around :)
TY fore another nice one
Also. Both of mine have burrowed. Given more depth in sub. And hardly any web
Mine just ate yesterday after hiding for about 50 days. I’m sure it molted around the 1st week of May
Man my mom wants one of these soooooo stinking bad it’s not funny but I can’t justify spending $280 for a sling!!! Thanks Dave love to know if I do get one how to keep it happy!!!
❤🕷🕸
Brilliant video thank you, finding info about these is very hit and miss, i have a sling thats about 3cm at the moment. What moss are you using and where could i find it? Thank you.
I collect the moss from the wild
Another beautiful tarantula, Dave! I'm curious; I know the males (generally) are fairly short-lived. But what is the average age of the female lifetime, across the tarantula genus?
They all vary so much
I think a good species name would be volcanicus or pyros
I dave
I love those little bowls you use. Where did you get them? Also, I'm about to get clay balls for the first time and was wondering if someone could tell me what I should use for the mesh boundary and where to get it. Thank you.
its weed surpresent from the garden centre
Why not see about getting a 3 printed spacer for the tanks that will then let you stack them?
I found a dead spider clutching an egg sac in my pond. The egg sac looks perfect and I wondered if it will have survived and I can hatch out the spiderlings. Any thoughts anyone? Dave what do you think? ❤ thanks 🙏
These are a species I've had twice now as very small slings, and both died. I've given up, as they're not cheap
Will they bite you for no reason or only when threatened
Nothing bites without reason 👍
Just hope they don’t morph into different colour as adults! Like the Birupes or something
They really are expensive to buy. If breeding has been an issue, can we assume that a higher percentage of this species in the hobby is wild caught?
Yes all would have come from wild caught originally
are these also known as the Darth Maul ?
Also known as a lava spider ☺️. The Darth Maul spider is the Psalmopoeus victori.
Also known as a lava spider ☺️. The Darth Maul spider is the Psalmopoeus victori.
Very pretty. And cute little Enclosure. Fingers crossed that one is a Female🤞
🤞
Hi Dave . Do you have lava spiders for sale ?
Not at the moment
@@daveslittlebeasties ok. Thx
Cause who ever brought those in has the adults so they can keep the price up high over letting people breed em to sell cause they would lose the high end dollar of em
I was just curious about something and had an off topic question. Has anyone ever tried to artificially impregnate a female spider by collecting sperm from a male spiders sperm web and then insert it into a female tarantula? This could make it possible to avoid having the male getting eaten if say you had one male and five females to try and mate them with and don't want the first female to make a meal out of them before they can get a chance to mate with the other females. It might also allow you to collect the sperm and mail it to someone that has a female of the same species rather then having to ship the spider to someone else for mating purposes.
good thought but I'm worried about the female getting to stressed in the process. good question .
Very interesting but not as easy as it first sounds
@@daveslittlebeasties it would probably be worth at least trying if you consider how difficult it can sometimes be to have both a mature male and female at the same time for many people.
A great job as" spider impregnator "to go on a job CV 😊.
Hello. Just my 2 cents here. It seems to me that the biggest challenge in breeding these lovely creatures is making sure there is as little stress as possible. When a female gets stressed, if I recall correctly, they will just hang on to the sperm until they moult. If, by chance, they did make an egg sac from an artificial insemination I would think there would be a high probability of her eating that sac. She never met the father so I would assume she wouldn’t want those babies. Just my thoughts. 💭
it's too small

I keep trying to send this link to you but it doesn't seem to be going through! A VERY GOOD pairing video from this gentleman!! 😊
I will check it out thank you 🙏
You're very welcome! It was the only pairing video I've found enjoyable besides your's!
Aww, such a sweet little thing...🫠❤️
Do you know, what class, its urticating hairs are? My B. emilia has Class 2, I think. Very easy to rinse off. She is sort of armoring her substrate, now, that she is pretty close to molting, and it feels, when I change the water in her dish.
