Goodness gracious, how chill those old worlds were! It just shows that being aggressive or defensive isn't the real personality of these spiders. I love this channel because you don't provoke your spiders into threat poses and slaps to the ground. I do hate how some people (I refuse to call them keepers) will make their spiders get into those situations and then make people afraid of them, just for clicks and views. You show how the spider should react when treated with respect, because at the end of the day, the spiders just want to go hide like they naturally would in the wild, spiders aren't angry and they don't want to hunt you down. A little love, gentle care and food and water is all they want, not poking at them just for fun. I quit watching channels that provoke the animals needlessly. Love your channel and your spiders❤
Dito that, I do agree with you! 🕷❤👍 You should respect and treat them well and they aren't pets like dog and cats are but they are beautiful as well as precious in ther own way. So are our dear Dave and Sweet Camera Lady too, we love them! 👋🥰👍
My Fimbriatus absolutely terrifies me 😂 Barely have to open the lid and she flies out of her burrow and starts trying to attack anything that moves. I rehoused her once and she was immediately on the bathroom wall 😂 Beautiful spiders though
The rehouse videos are my favorite. You always get a really good look at the spider, seeing ones too u wouldn't normally get a good look at. Camera Lady's T looks so soft and fluffy you almost forget it's a potentially dangerous creature and want to pet her 😅. Thanks for sharing your beautiful tarantulas. It's probably the best view I'll ever have of one.
Talking about British Stickers...I still have seed cups for my birds which i bought 19 years ago and they still have sticker residues on them despite having used any recommended trick under the sun to remove it 😂😂
Heat from a hair blower (not that you would have one of those, Dave. Maybe Camera lady can let you borrow hers) and something sharp to lift the edge will sometimes do the trick for adhesives. Beautiful spiders. I’m partial to the golden one too.
Hi Dave and Camera Lady. Another wonderful video. They are beautiful. I can see why Camera Lady loves the Fimbriatus that colouring is gorgeous. I look forward to your videos every week it’s like spider classes without the exams lol 😂
She preferred next doors real estate ❤ I always love when you say how highly defensive certain spiders are and for you they very rarely are. It does show if you are respectful to them they will reciprocate
Two gorgeous spiders! My favorite was the second one. I'm usually in a hurry for you to put lids back on, but could have way watched her longer. What husky legs she has! Just as an aside, I always have luck with mayo when removing stubborn labels. It leaves no.odor or discoloration. Thanks for the fun video. Happy Easter to you and Camera Lady.
I'm always amazed at the emotional sensitivity and personalities of your spiders, neither of which you expect from invertebrates. To me, your handling of them is the epitome of what having animals "in subjection" means, understanding and using their behavior to control them. Far different from having them in captivity, which only requires force and confinement. Another great video about some gorgeous spiders. Again, too bad you don't see much of them.
I'm only commenting because this is your most recent video and your more likely to see it. I had a Pelinobius muticus, or king baboon, which was given to me by a boss many many years ago. At the time, I had extreme arachnophobia, but I'm also very old school and Sicilian so I could not refuse a gift. I fed it for about two to three years till it died, but every time I molted I kept it's shells and glued the thorax to the top of cute little boxes which I'd wrap gentle with a card reading "For great friend" and hand to people I knew. They jumped out of their skin and honestly I don't think I've hung out with any of them in well over a decade. Good times.
Another lovely and interesting video. Two beauties there. I love watching the rehousings and how you gently encourage your spiders to move into their new homes! ☺️💜
I love your channel and your moto of being calm and gentle and love your spider. You have taught me so much and have helped me with my anxiety when rehousing. Thank you and Miss Camra lady ❤
The P.muticus rehouse was awesome...and i was holding my breath, not out of fear, but the fact you got video and closeups of that animal. They are so reclusive that seeing them up close like that is wonderful. They never skip leg day at the gym.
AWESOME video Dave a couple of STUNNING Ts there too I have a juvie female P.Muticus at the moment but need to get a C.Fimbriatus I dont have one in my collection yet I am concentrating on the Baboons at the moment I am aiming on getting a few of the rarer ones
Another really interesting vid. I can’t have tarantulas but get my “fix” from watching you. Just an idea, have you and camera lady ever considered doing a bio’ post? . Basically your “spider journey.” How you first got interested in them and how it all progressed to where you are now? Did you meet camera lady cos of a shared interest? Do you keep other species (apart from your toads) or do you just specialise in spiders? What good times and bad times you’ve had with the hobby? Have you ever been tempted to pack it all in, if so, why? Have you ever been bitten? I really don’t mean intrusive personal stuff just your spider back story really. I’m sure it would be very interesting. 😁
WD40 is brilliant for removing stickers from furniture, metal and plastic. Just spray it on and leave about 30 seconds and wipe with a cloth or paper towel. It’s great kid kids pu stickers on things that they want to use but look unsightly.
A wonderful example of calm behavior with respect and understanding. Until I had seen the King Baboons tarantula in some of your earlier videos I hadn't known about their large rear pair of legs. The overall heaviness of the entire body is really apparent in this video. Both are beautiful.
I love you guys, your content is arguably the best on YT. It is not one of the best, it IS the best, but Dave can you please learn how to pronounce scientific names correctly. It is not that hard. When I studied English as my second language my English teacher explained to me how to learn even very complex English words easily. Let me share with you this technique: you start to learn the word backward starting with the last two three letters and keep repeating it adding a next letter. Let’s start: ius, bius, obius, nobius, inobius, linobius, elinobius and voila, pelinobius. So not Pterinochilus. 😊
Hi dave n camera lady 🫡 my fimbriatus is a dream to work with at the moment, it's a pitty my huahini isn't as calm they seem to be acrobats 😂 open the lid and up they go 6/8 inches into the air🕷 at least one will attempt to get out 😂
I'm with you, Camera Lady...I LOVE the King (Queen!) Baboon soooooo much. I just think she is stunning. Just stunning. I eagerly wait for vids featuring this little gem!❤
You always make me feel so confident, it’s like I could go out buy a thousand spiders but not the ones you just rehoused they looked terrifying, just sedate little souls I want a Brachypelma hamorii, and a few beginner favourites I won’t talk about my little jumping spiders because I don’t want you to fall asleep reading my comment, ha ha ha! Much love to you both! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What smooth transitions! It's so interesting to see how differently the two reacted to the transfer too. I so enjoy how you both work with and appreciate these creatures that I used to be terrified of!! 😄 Thanks to you both! I look forward to every single video and re-watch so many. 💕🕷🕸💕
Brilliant stuff Dave, those spiders are in superb condition Dave, and hopefully you'll get a couple of males, anyway Dave another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
magical the way you moved these spiders PROF, some great information on this video to help the hobby when having to rehouse spiders. it will be interesting to see a catch up in a few weeks. CAMERA LADY you got some great footage of these spiders. many thanks guys and take care
I've just got my first turantula, the Aphonopelma anax (aka Texas Tan) and she's absolutely beautiful. Done so much research thanks to your videos so thankyou so much! 🕷❤️
my fimbriatus is one of my favorite spiders in my collection. had her since she was just a tiny thing and she juat dropped a sac. right around 300 EWLs!
Very nice Dave. The king baboons are rather scarce in South Africa, but wanted to ask you if the Cameron baboon spiders measure up to the king baboon spider in terms of size, as they look similar in structure, just a darker color than the king. Is there a major difference between the Hercules and Cameron red if you would know?
Dave - were you ever scared of spiders in your youth? I was terrified of them for YEARS, but watching all your videos, I am 90% less frightened of them now. I still don't really like the fast-moving ones, but did you get into this game cos you were scared of them in the beginning? Just curious.....
You mentioned the P. muticus likes high humidity: do you think if I moisten one corner more than the others, it will tend to keep its burrow in that corner?
Dave, please could we look at these again in a couple of weeks to see how they’ve burrowed or webbed their new homes?
For me its good to hear the cricket chirping in the background, its calming in a way

Glad you enjoyed it! my friend hope to see you at kempton ❤️👍
Dave, when telling us the name and type of spider, could you tell us where their from? Thank you for sharing all your knowledge.❤
Hey Dave, where is your Sydney Funnel Web?
I only have the Japanese , Macrothele gigas my friend and we done a rehouse recently on them check it out 👍
Your commentary is super instructive and educational. Well done
Thank you so much 👍
Wouldn't it cool if these big spiders could suddenly jump a couple of metres?
You mentioned briefly that one of the spiders can make a sound. How. ?
Are other spiders capable too.
They rub their chelicerae making a "hissing" sound
I've just got my first turantula, the Aphonopelma anax (aka Texas Tan) and she's absolutely beautiful. Done so much research thanks to your videos so thankyou so much! 🕷❤️

They dont get as stocky as the kings , and the Hercules are a subject with much confusion and dought
If the sticker is exterior, brake cleaner will get them right off, instantly...
Any MM metallica's or regalis for sale?
I need a regalis 😂
My best wish is that i hope they find the missing stromatopelma species, like fumigatum, if they're still there
Is the orange spider an obt or is it a different spider?
King baboon ❤
Isn’t it pelinobius muticus?
Two beautiful girls
Yes it is 😂

No I have always been around animals all my life
So I’m guessing buying like 20 slings all different except for a group of 6 communal MB’s. Lol I go all in when I get a hobby……all or nothing
You mentioned the P. muticus likes high humidity: do you think if I moisten one corner more than the others, it will tend to keep its burrow in that corner?
Maybe I always keep mine moist 👍
also I'm sure it was an honest mistake but right around the 14:00 mark, you say 'Pterinochilus' instead of 'Pelinobius'.
Yes I did 😂 we had been talking about OBTs and breeding just before we started the video my mind was else where 😂👍❤️
Great brush work there Dave.
Use WD40 to get the labels off.
(It's Pelinobius muticus, but I know you know that)
😂😂. we had been talking OBTs just prior to filming
