I'm glad that Tina always sets the record straight that it was definitely a suicide in all of her writings. It's very dangerous that there are some people who still say erotic asphyxiation (AF) which involves rendering oneself unconscious in such a way that they expected to come undone while they're unconscious and then beable to wake up (l won’t say how and it still often leads to death or permanent brain damage). Michael clearly did NOT expect to regain consciousness as he hung himself high up from a hinge at the top of a door with a tightly tied belt. Sadly many teens die from the mistaken belief that hanging like Michael did is some sort of sex or blackout game that they may survive. The irresponsible people who say Michael’s suicide was just an accident should retract their statement to match that the coroners - the experts - who said suicide.
Ummm NO! Michael had NOTHlNG to do with the live Aid idea. He prob wouldn't have approved of something where all the money went to a corrupt government either (although to be fair Bob may not have known that was going to happen). Michael's main cause was quietly working with activist to encourage governments to help free East Timor. (look up Michael East Timor). The country was eventually freed in 1999 by a UN encouraged independence vote in response to a proposal by Australian Prime Minister John Howard in 1998.
His high risk lifestyle ultimately lead to his death you can argue living a high risk life is a form of slow suicide and in this instance it culminated with this tragic event. this story is truly tragic i remember being totally devastated. I wish he had quit the tour and checked himself into rehab for 3 months, got clean, fresh perspective on life with healthy thought patterns on life etc. God bless him poor soul
