No man why that ending 😢... Well it was all great... But i doubt that younger illidan would do such a thing to himself... He was afterall always different... He will know... That given the chance he would choose that future illidan's path... Furion however... He wouldn't even accept future illidan's aid... He would say that this is one of the legion's deceitful plans to rule the world... But regardless great vid ma man keep making greatness 💪💪
Thanks man! Dramatic ending.. I know.. Such is the tale of Illidan. Never appreciated for all he has sacrificed. Originally I wanted to do Furion but to have him do Illidan dirty a second time.... Oof.. Hopefully Furion would do as his Shan'do Cenarius commanded. Illidan may have been in denial looking upon his future self, but maybe not, like you say. Thanks for watching!
Hi again @ScorpRogueTV, Great new addition to the alternate histories vids. As for the ending, I can kinda see how young Illidan would not want to be upstaged by anyone, even his future self. As for Tyrande shooting him with an arrow through the hear, yeah I can totaly see that. Always thought she was kind of thickheaded. I might be a bit biased becuase I was on team Illidan back in the War3 campaign. Back then she metaphorically shot him through the heart, so in a way it's not surprising that she would do it literally too. I also watched the Tirion ones earlier, especially liked the part that the light crystals in each of the weapons sort of recognized each other and their power got magnified. If I could suggest, for the next one, how about going back in time to before the Eredar agreed to join the Legion? You could have either present day Velen or Yrel go back to the moment when they were first approached by Sargeras. Or possibly someone from another alliance race? Would still be good if they were a light user, so that they can show their connection to the light and be taken more seriously by the then still uncorrupted Eredar. Maybe Shandris? Or if you're willing to consider some Hearthstone characters, how about Elise and Aranna Starseeker? Elise is a priestess and Aranna is a demon huntress. The first being a light user and the second a fel user, doing a similar "show and tell" bit like Illidan. And they're both Night Elves, with long lifespans and plently of knowledge of future events, especially since Elise is an archeologist/historian to boot.
Hey there! Glad you liked the stories! Also a great idea from you. Based on their eredar raid boss forms, and even just regular Velen being powerful, The triumvirate would be a very powerful force for good! Funny because the eredar are (mostly) the brains of the Burning Legion.
My man, this needs multiple parts : write&talk about the relationship (do a ship with future Illidan&younger Tyrande) in which the priestess sees the good in Illidan and they get together, explore the fact that fel magic can be used for good - aka talk about Illidari and demon who can be trained from the elves.
@@ScorpRogue @ScorpRogueTV its rly well written fell asleep to it last night , what about the voice over which AI u use to make it sound like narrator and illidan ?
Oh come on, why does it have to end on such a bitter note?! This what if had such potential for events we don't get to see in original timeline. Like he should've been shot in the shoulder instead as a warning by Tyrande, and not killing him outright since he was crucial in deposing Azshara and preventing the War of the Ancients from occurring. Then we could've seen events like the aftermath of Azshara's fall, where we could see Zin-Azshari being renamed again to its original name, to see who would be the new ruler of the Kaldorei, the transition from arcane to nature magic, maybe balance the two even to something much more powerful. We could've also had the adventures of Tyrande, Furion, Young and Future Illidan, dealing with Nerubians, Silithid and Mantid, or the troll tribes of Zandalari, Gurubashi or Amani after hearing the news of Azshara's fall and would vie for power. Maybe even see Tyrande slowly but surely forming a bond with Future Illidan, seeing how much he was willing to sacrifice to save their world, unlike Furion who sacrificed very little if anything at the time. To see how different he is from his younger self, who is far more rash and abrasive than his more enlightened future self. Or the fact that they might've faced Nozdormu and bronze dragons, since Illidan interfered with this timeline and caused a catastrophic change that forever erased the version of Azeroth that we all know. In other words, great story but such wasted potential for future videos. Hopefully you'll at least consider retconning that ending and do multiple parts of this story :)
@@ScorpRogue That was a major retcon from Blizzard, because we were there when Illidan "died" and Maiev felt hollow when she finally killed him, just as we were there when every other villain died in TBC, like Kael (before he got crystal shoved in his chest) and Vashj etc. But oh well, at least he didn't get the Arthas treatment, where he got disenchanted into 30 anima, now that was a kick in the balls.

What if Arthas timetraveled after his death before the plague.

We had thought Illidan perished atop the Black Temple. He has a habit of coming back... 😉
