I've listened to this one at least 20+ times. It still amazes me after all these years how well the story was written and narrated and still makes me wanna come back and listen again. I hope Steven Pacey narrates more stories like this. He is absolutely brilliant.
Don't know about you guys, but for me this was so amazing it felt like a movie. I closed my eyes and could see everything all throughout. I hope they make more like this and 1000 years of war. Absolute gold.
Hello from beneath my rock. I'm a 8 year recovered heroin addict with ptsd & no friends but this ... "world" has become my sanctuary lately. I deeply regret missing out on this culture, spending my life the way i did and not hanging out with the likes of you lads. May we adventure together in another life 🍀
Dude that just put such a smile on my face. Hope you're doing well with everything and if not, I hope you're not being too hard on yourself either. I hope you can enjoy many future xpac launches. This fictional universe has been my respite many times, so I feel you.
I highly recommend Flying Buttress’ videos if you enjoyed this story. Its gotten me thru the last couple months. Sending all my love to you, from Germany- thanks for your words from beneath your rock
I never could get into World of Warcraft , but this single story is done so well . You have struggle , betrayal , trust dynamics , inner conflicts on both sides. It is a nonstop pace story that keeps you on the edge of your seat .
Whether the game is good or bad at any given moment, there are still enjoyable stories, cinematics, books, audio dramas etc. I recommend diving into WoW without playing the game at all. It can still be awesome content to consume. Plenty of lore content for noobs as well if you don't know where to start.
I played the entirety of wod and legion without knowing of this audiodrama at all, in spite of me listening to thouaand years of war when it came out. I'm shocked and infinitely happy for discovering it.
Thank you for uploading this magnificent work. First audio book I hear while fishing in Dragon Isles. I missed Legion expansion, now I'm more exited to play classic whenever it comes out. Greetings from Chile
Wow. Steven Pacey narrating a Warcraft novel? If you guys want more of him telling equally epic tales, try The Blade Itself, and the six other books in the First Law world.
been years since this was out but I still come back from time to time. Wish they would've done this for BFA too. Makes an expansion that much more epic.
I love the addition of music and sound effects in the background. Helps set the scene for this audio drama, like the radio shows of old! One thing that's slightly odd is the voices. FANTASTIC WORK OVERALL, don't get me wrong, just that Kil'jaden's voice sounds more like the Gul'dan's voice i'm familiar with. But then again, if that ended up being Gul'dan's voice, then Kil'jaden's voice would bass rumble my fillings out.
I'm happy to read that, sorry I wasn't able to translate all of the dialogues to the video (yet). I have sadly priorities that need my attention. When I have time I'll try to continue this work.
@@satanbrony9235 From what I've read and played, it really isn't. Arthas and that book where Rohnin goes back in time are good, everything else has been luke warm at best and horribly portrayed at worst.
Warhammer 40k Pretty much anything labeled as audio drama. Ur welcome :) Chosen of Khorne, Ahriman the First Prince, Accept no Failiure. If you want examples
I am not entirely sure, but it might be part of either Kil'jaeden A or C from the way it sounds. But I am guessing because those tracks show up a lot in the background music of that audio play
Not bad, but I prefer the german version of it. The narrator of the english version seems to haste through the entire script and that disturbs my taste of a thrilling story. The german narrator (David Nathan) takes his time and together with his unique voice he is able to create way more tension 😉
I wish this was an actual audio drama, but its not. Its just an enhanced audiobook, like most Star Wars books are. Its not dramatized at all, nor is there any sort of cast. It is not an audio drama, plain and simple.
How do you define dramatization? There is definitely personality put into the characters and gravitas in the narration. Also, saying the lack of a cast makes it not a drama is like saying a one-man-play isn't a play because one person is every character.

Theses things called books, they came long before movies
@@jimjoyce4423 its actually an audio drama not a book

How you doing man? I know your comment was positive but I’m in a bad place and reading it brought tears to my eyes.
Still coming here from time to time to listen to this audiobook. Its so damn good
This is so good. Blizzard should make more like this.
Don't even play anymore but still love the lore. This is gold.
4 Years later, still one of the best audio drama
Two years later and still a stupid comment
@@absolutelyfookinnobody2843You are wrong

I wish they make a 50 hour version, truly a masterpiece

Wow this is amazing I love how the sounds perfectly flow into the dialogue
lol try any audiodramas from Blck Library. Warhammer 40k. This is not bad at all, but really lame in compare with 40k.

If they made this into a movie, I'd pay $. The music and sound effects really make this an awesome performance.
Pacey has a great range of his voice from Khadgar to Gul'dan.

I loved Khadgar's taunting of Gul'dan. He was pretty funny! :3
and then broken shore dailies came - too many "jokes"
Expertly written, performed, and produced.
The dialogues between Kil'jaeden and Gul'dan are incredibly menacing and incredibly funny.
Gul'Dan is such a well written character
Thank you for sharing this. Love to revisit these stories.
been years since this was out but I still come back from time to time. Wish they would've done this for BFA too. Makes an expansion that much more epic.
Check out the book Before the Storm by Christie Golden. It's available on Audible, but you can probably pirate it too.
That fight between Gul'dan and Kadgar was amazing! Loved listening to this.

Thanks for posting this, I had been wondering why gul'dan seemed ... content in the cutscenes
I wanted to fall asleep while listening to this but it kept me up instead and wouldn't let me sleep until it finished
We need MORE of these audio dramas!
I might have to check out this Warcraft series now. Well done!
Most epic mage vs. lock PvP match
These books are what should be made into animated movies.
Thanks mate, i love this very much :) Cus i have Asperger's & other diagnosis, so can´t read books it sucks :( So this made me very happy :D thx

Admirable and inspiring! Thanks.

1# Ever and best ever audiobook lore with Steven Pecay ❤
I want to make the point that while I don’t know much about WoW this made me love Khadgar.
2022 still pretty good
This expansion had better live up to the hype. The lords of war videos promised as much and the expansion failed.
What did you think about the expansion overall?

I think I'm about 1k of these veiws. I sleep too this every night since release. Thanks

To think......Atropus knows all this lore too the moment THE SCOURGE was so much as considered..
i love this prob listened to it like 5 times already
Amazing, just amazing.
They should make more of those audio books
Wanna know why BFA sucks? Cause Steven Pacey is missing.
Seriously tho i love this guy so much, Blizz make more audio dramas like this already!
I wish someone would redo this with more pictures XD

I wonder if they could
Make overwatch or Starcraft or Diablo as well or if I can find them for purchase
