Happy April 1st, dear adventurers! While today might be a day for pranks and laughter, rest assured, our journey into the Undercity is as real and intriguing as it gets. No jests here-just the chilling tale of a city that thrives beneath the shadows. I hope you find the adventure as captivating as I did creating it. Enjoy the exploration!
@@TheChroniclesofAzeroth spooky atmosphere and Tim Burton architecture theme. Music there is so iconic and gives me chill. I personally love Mad Scientist / gothic style and spooky stuff. I want Undercity to be bigger and be city only for Horde ( I am kinda sick of neutral cities ) and also have a harbor.
Battle for UC will always be one of my favorite questlines of all time. As someone who had always mained Undead characters, it really felt like I was fighting for my home. So iconic.
I can imagine! While this Loremaster has taken no part in the Battle for Undercity, it must have been a victory of great proportions to reclaim your undead city from the invaders!
I was around 10 when I first played, hard to believe its been 14 years… I don’t remember much of my first experience with the Undercity, but I distinctly remember running around Tirisfal, killing spiders with my dad Good times :)
Absolutely, those were often the times of pure wonder and awe for the wider world of Azeroth! It's nice to read the personal experiences of other travellers, and bringing back the fond memories!
I always really liked Undercity, I thought the looks was spooky but cool. I especially remember hearing the whispers in the Throne Room for the first time.
Returning to the Undercity's throne room after adventures far and wide, those whispers brought back some strong memories! Masterful blended, perfectly executed!
I recently found this channel and I love it, first one I watched was the shadowfang keep video, great narration and voice over; my first character was an undead warlock a couple months after WoW first came out and tirisfal glades and the plague lands were always my favorite areas. The dark foreboding feeling behind them, and the history of the once great kingdom, I’ll always remember running up the stairs of the crypt your forsaken wakes up in, even when I made my blood elf, I still would always hang out in UC or the plague lands.
Ah, the chilling echoes of Tirisfal still haunt many a seasoned adventurer. It’s where legends rise from the shadows and every corner whispers tales of fallen kingdoms. Thank you for sharing your story, I enjoyed reading it very much!
Do you remember your initial descent on the Undercity elevators? I'm curious to know what thoughts crossed your mind as you entered the Forsaken's captivating, albeit macabre, seat of power for the first time!
@@TheChroniclesofAzeroth I do to some extend. My first characters were Forsaken. And I was a big WC3 fan and played mostly Undead. The bridge and the way leading to the throne room had me excited and in awe. Entering the throne room had me pause. This was a feeling of becoming part of the RTS and its story. The music helped to create the feeling of something really horrible and bad happening in that room. In that kingdom. A kingdom in ruins, a people (un-)dead. Going forward after inspecting the throne room I was excited to see what way lying behing. To finally see more of the capital. It was so cool to see the Aborminations as guards. Than the escalator and dying because I glitched thru the door and died falling down. Entering Undercity for the first time was a bit overhelming. So much to discover. I loved the look and style of the city. The bank is one of my favorites to this day. The overall layout was a bit tiresome to navigate for me back then. But I had alot of fun within Undercity. Loved to return to it and then leave it thru that tunnel on a bat. Feeled like doing secret missions for my people and the Dark Lady.
Excited is an understatement! The idea of the Forsaken rising anew and reclaiming a space as hauntingly beautiful as the Undercity, there's a certain poetry to it.
They really did a "grave" job setting the spooky mood in Undercity, didn't they? Even now, it's a place where the chill isn't just in the air-it's in your bones!
Broooooo ❤ love the content your killing it with these lore videos! It's hard to put into words how perfect this videos are. Congratulations on all your success, well deserved!
"I went to Undercity to get a facial. Ha! Have you seen these people? I said, ‘You don’t have a lower jaw and you’re going to give ME a facial?’ She got mad…at least I think she did. You ever heard someone talk without a lower jaw? ‘Rawe-rau-werew’ Ho-ho! She sounded like a murloc!” -Female Blood Elf
Your way of presenting the place and describing it with that handsome voice really captivated my attention for the whole video. Didn't even check my phone like I usually do. And that should say a lot, in this day of impatience and low-spawn attention. You should be more proud of yourself.
I apologize for the belated reply! A Loremaster's work is never truly finished. Thank you so much for your kind words! It’s truly heartening to hear that the stories of Azeroth can captivate your attention so fully, especially in an age where distractions are just a click away. Here’s to many more adventures together!
Absolutely, and definitely on the list of topics to explore. We’ll delve into the era of the Forsaken Council and the post-Sylvanas period in due time!
After wandering through Undercity's corridors, its unique aroma seems to have woven itself into my robes and hat. It's a curious blend of alchemical concoctions and the deep, earthy scent of venerable stones that simply refuses to fade.
Ah, the call of nostalgia! The Undercity, like many of Azeroth's places, have a way of drawing us back, don't they? What's one memory from your explorations that you treasure the most about this Forsaken capital?

Trust your eyes, you indeed made a cameo! Consider it a tribute to one of the channel's most spirited members! Hope you enjoyed your moment in the spotlight as much as I did creating it! Keep an eye out for more such surprises.
That night elf druid dancing in the sewers seemed quite at home, fearlessly flaunting his moves near his undead adversaries. While my days of questing may be behind me, immersing in this world through lore and stories keeps the spirit youthful. If the call of Azeroth beckons you, embrace the adventure, there's always something new to discover!
I really don't like the AI narration. It lacks convincing emotion and feels off. You do you, obviously. Not my channel. Personally I can deal with short videos, or short bursts of AI narration, but not these long fully narrated stories. It's strange, it's like some alien from another planet learned about our emotions and how we speak and is doing a very good job of imitating it, but it just isn't quite right.
I appreciate your honest feedback. Using AI allows me to share my passion for this game in a way that I otherwise couldn’t. I understand it’s not for everyone, and that’s perfectly okay. Thank you for giving the videos a try, and I hope you find the content that resonates more with you!

Proof that our beloved Lore Master pays no mind to silliness.
Home is where heartstone is and mine is in Undercity. Trully one of the most original and well designed city in WoW.
That's dedication! It's got a charm unlike any other. What makes Undercity your top pick for a home base?

For the Forsaken! For the Banshee Queen!
I watched this while walking around undercity, such a great watch
Super to hear! Hope you had a pleasant stroll through the city of the Forsaken!
Sort of reminds me of Detroit

How has this only got 20k views. Come on people, this is great work in my opinion.

Incredible as always Loremaster!
Glad you think so! Thanks for joining me once more!
Nice reference in 'Doctor Herbert Halsey' to HP Lovecraft's 'Herbert West: Reanimator'. Love it.
Blizzard's world has always been rich with easter eggs, making every corner of Azeroth a surprise!
