Chatterbox 12 - A Big Thankyou, and a Modelling Show

Chatterbox is a new format for me in which I do just that - chat! There will be mini reviews and things of use, comment on new stuff, and probably old, reactions to comments on the videos etc etc.

Telford is outdated and a poor place to travel to. Parking is abysmal and it’s a slog from the train station, especially if the weather is poor. The NEC would be far better; Scale Model World definitely needs to relocate. Come on IPMS… CHOP CHOP!! Good to hear you again, Jen.

Glad to hear youre doing ok Jen. Never knew Brize had a club, where have I been for the last 38 years! I did a recruiting show at the NEC and they charged £300 per Sq foot of display space! Not a cheap venue unless your companies picking up the bill!

I am not far from the NEC but the £18.25 for parking is very steep on top of entry. Nice to see you back Jen.

The cost at the nec will be prohibitive for many, I will not be going and it's on 7 miles away. Worse than that it will overshadow and sideline many more smaller events, (which I prefer).

I had heard about it and would like to go but unfortunately it clashes with the Scottish national show. This means I'll be on the overnight coach from London to Glasgow (via Birmi gham lol) and then back again the following day. However, I did say I'll go and my local IPMS (Glasgow) will be there. But I wish the show at the NEC all the very best and loads of success. We don't have enough shows imo
