I've purchased purchased 2 coffee machines guided by your reviews. I'm about to purchase another one (returned the previous one). And again, I'm taking your reviews as a new guide and decided this is the one I'm buying. If someone mentions something about getting a new coffee machine, I'd just send them to your channel. This is amazing! I hope you reach the 100K asap.
This was a wonderful review and tutorial. My beloved cusinart finally kicked (actually, I hadn’t descaled it in too long, and was trying everything to get to work, and broke it). I did allot of research for replacement. This review sealed it. I used it to teach my teenage daughters how to use it :). I will say this, there is one issue I have with the unit. I wish that the screw top for the carafe with the attached flute (specifically the flute) was not made of plastic. The idea of the plastic flute like a straw sitting in the piping hot coffee and leeching out only God knows what makes me uneasy. I decided that once brewing completes, I unscrew the top, and put a wide mouth ball jar seal cover over the opening to keep the heat in. Not a deal breaker, but a bit frustrating. Thanks again for the review.
I've had this machine almost 2 years and never used the frother! That's why I found this video to see how to use it! Love the way you break everything down.
Best tutorial by far in a long time. Bc most are just kids or young adults just hurrying up and doing videos just for the likes and videos for that pay check. And I loved how this is a pot u also continue using tell by the filter screen and not just something u got for the video and giving it away or storing it I'd think. Will continue to look forward to ur videos I just went and bought my ma one cause I could hear her like 20 yr one must've been slowly dripping at the handle and ud hear the water hit the plate n making that pshhh noise lol n for the price I bought 2 bc of ur video shhh one for myself also lolol thanks so much for this video keep up the great review even if u felt like skipping a part bc it was boring
I’m hoping to find one of these under the Christmas tree this year, so I really appreciated this video! Loved all the detail you went into-especially good to know the frothing attachment doesn’t actually heat the milk, because I just assumed it would, so I’m glad to have a heads up lol. Thanks so much for sharing, now I’m even more excited to get one!
Thank God for you and this video! My instructions never told me what to do and I just bought mine yesterday and I'm clueless 😂 mine doesn't have the espresso button though. You're the only one that has a machine like mine(minus the one button) where I can watch what to do
Thank you again for these detailed and handy reviews. Being able to see the pots in action, as well as a detailed overview of features really helps decision making.
Love your videos very informative my daughter bought this ninja coffee maker for Xmas I just took it out the box I’m in love best coffee ever 😊 thank you for showing us how to use correctly
Wooowww what a great review. Exactly answering all my questions. Currently I am looking for a new coffee machine so when I wake up there’s fresh coffee I will be getting this machine thanks to your wonderful review!!!! You’ve earned a subscriber 🤞
Just ordered this after my name brand combo single serve/full pot coffee maker bit the dust. Over the expensive K cup type pods. Got this on sale. Excellent video! Excited to get this machine going into Summer. Starbucks be gone! Lol
Really good review! Love how you went into depth on everything especially the different brew methods, I went ahead and purchased immediately afterwards.
These brewers are SCA certified, meaning they reach proper brewing temps (about 190°), among a few other SCA features. The brewer also stops/starts to imitate pour-over style preparation.
Hello I have a question , so I have this coffee maker and really love it makes a very great cup of coffee but u was wondering why I have problems with paper filters. When ever I use a paper filter for my coffee and put the coffee to brew it always over fills and starts to put grounds all over and makes a mess. I use #4 paper cone filters and have seen many people and you use coffee with paper filters and it works great. so I was wondering if there was any solution, why it over fills with coffee every time I use a paper filter or anyway to use one but not to overflow . Thank you and have a nice day
Great video ...I bought mine from qalmart about 1 yr ago and it didn't come with the filter cone so I bought one on Amazon it didn't fit now I'm using paper filters which it almost are to find some times
Thank you for this video. Question for you. I want to wake up to my fresh brewed, hot coffee but have not yet figured out how to keep that plate on hot. I can delay the brew but by the time I get to it, my coffee is cold. How can I delay the brew of a cup or two and leave it warm until I get out of bed? Thank you
Sorry to hear this. it could just be a setting. make sure you are making at least a1/2 coffee pot so it will turn on the warming plate. if you are make a travel mug size it does not turn on the warming plate. Next you can set how long the warming plate stays on from 0 to 4 hours. Press and hold the keep warm button and it will bring up how long the plate stays on.
How does this compare to Starbucks when making drinks like Frappuccino, latte's, etc? I'm thinking about this or an espresso machine and I just can't decide. This machine has a rating of 4.7 stars on amazon which is very impressive for how many people bought it, but I'm trying to make Starbucks copycat drinks (primarily iced latte's and frapps).
FWIW, i don't think this Ninja is going to make you happy if you want a Starbucks / barista-like latte. I have this brewer and love it - it's a solid auto drip machine that brews hot and relatively quick and is SCA certified. The specialty 4 oz mode shown in the video (to me) gives you a relatively concentrated coffee that sort of provides an Americano if you dilute it with a bit of hot water. But again you can immediately tell it isn't one made with real espresso from a pump type machine under pressure.
@@chris-fm6jp Thanks for the heads up. Yeah I think I'm going to just get an espresso machine instead. I found out they actually just use instant coffee and a bunch of syrups for their fraps so I can definitely make that one with just a blender, but for the other drinks I'll need an actual espresso maker for an authentic recreation.
Should have watched this first I was originally looking at the ninja duo pro or something I bought a whole bunch of k cups excited to make some coffee creations (new to coffee) drinking and I got this machine instead not realizing it doesn’t use k cups oof. Also wondering can you make hot chocolate with this?
Thank you so much for this very thorough review, it’s the best I’ve watched on this machine. I have a question - We have regular and a decaf drinker in our house, and I noticed that you said you could turn the hot plate on if it’s gone off without having to go through the brew process - I’m wondering if I could brew a pot of caffeinated coffee and then a bit later, while the pot is still being kept warm, remove the pot and brew a single decaf cup, then put the pot of regular back on and turn on the hot plate part again so it keeps the regular coffee hot?
You can always turn the hot plate on and off at will. If you brew anything less than a half pot, it won't let you turn on the hot plate-but you can get around this by simply moving the selector to a half or full pot, then pressing the warm button.
I received a Sam's Club gift card at Christmas and was waiting to see what to buy with it. Well after buying two Keurig machines and having them break and buying many expensive K-cups, then buying a $10 cheep coffee maker I seen this machine at Sam's Club for $40 off this week so I bought it. Before taking it out of the box I decided to look at the reviews on this machine. I came across your review and presentation. Thank You! This machine is coming out of the box today. It's everything I've been looking for. It will fit our household needs. My husband drinks hot coffee & I drink ice coffee. We got the best of both worlds to make us happy. It will save me alot of time & money from going out and buying ice coffees at certain establishments. We are looking forward to our first cups. ☕🧋
I was hoping you would do the cleaning process before using it. I think I have done everything you did and when I push classic like directions say, it beeps at me about the drip stop. I close and open and try it both ways and it constantly beeps at me. I just wanna use it!! What is wrong?
@@JustADad Well, we tried anyway and it does work. The coffee maker senses that it is out of water and displays the message "add wtr" for about 5 minutes, then it shuts off so the down side is that when it does this, the warming burner also shuts off and needs to be manually turned back on. On the bigger down side though, we really don't like the brew this coffee maker produces with Folgers. We're going to try a different brand and grind to see if that produces better results. If not, we're just going back to a more traditional drip maker.
I've had to replace mine every 12-14 months, going with a more simple coffee maker this time. 1st time, it was under warranty so they sent a free base (electronic side since that's what was wrong), 14 months later, outside of warranty, same thing, buttons don't provide function. Did all of the tricks and tips and still doesn't work, it's completely electrical.. So I personally don't recommend Ninja Coffee makers that have a lot of bells and jingles. If you stick with simple, you're likely not going to spend a lot of money replacing all of the time.
I just purchased this coffee machine but no matter how I adjust the scoops, my coffee taste terrible. Almost a burnt taste and it just taste disgusting. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong!
HMM not really sure, is your coffee ground to a medium grind? What temp is the coffee coming out of the coffee maker. if you let it sit on the warming plate for too long it will taste burnt
@@JustADad I am trying to figure out what grind my coffee grounds are. I am using hills bros orginal blend medium roast. The temp reads 190.9 right when it beeps that it is done. I also pour the coffee after it beeps so it doesn't sit long

@@alexisaderman3449 Yeah thats probably a medium grind. That is the correct temp so it should taste really good. What filter are you using. the metal mesh reusable filter or a #4 paper cone filter. I like #4 paper filters that are white and not brown, the white paper filters taste better to me.
@@JustADad I just let water run through the machine again. Then I just did 4 big scoops and a full carafe and same result. I have not been using a filter. But I figured that should be fine with the purpose of it being reusable but I will try with a filter too just to see
