I live halfway across the country now, but grew up fishing that pier for years. I miss it. Lots of memories.
My halibut rig hook got stuck in a eye of a barrel swivel that was hooked on the pier by someones broken line 😂
Any bonito caught at the piers lately?
There all under that drop off where the fairy stops I was there couple days ago I caught a good size mackerel mostly Calico Bass they where getting a lil bigger everytime and one sculpin it was a good day

That’s more like it with that pier, hella crowded. Was there Saturday morning, pretty lucky from 5-8am not many anglers. Bunch of dinks casting north towards the base.

Bite here was nasty the past month. Always caught at least 8-10 bass facing the south side when I went. Slowed down a lot like 1 or 2 bass the past few days :P fun while it lasted.

I been drop shotting flukes on my float tube in front of ferry catch 20+ spottys in 3-4 hrs just letting it drag on bottom 👍
I post my catches on Fishbrain to try to show people to float tube the bay can b very productive
