I don’t know why but I always have bad luck with lures, I’ve caught plenty of fish on cut bait and live bait, but I hardly catch anything on plastics 🤷♂️ in mission bay I’ve had more luck with lures but at harbor island I haven’t got a bite

I fish the same spot in harbor Island near that restaurant at the end of the loop... My buddy caught a small little leopard shark the other morning but I've been skunked the last 2x

Been fishing the right side of the park at harbor island. Lots of bites on the 1/4 pink hookup bait. Just need to work on my hook set 🙃
I had good luck with a brown kalins Curley tail drop shot weedless. When nothing else seemed to be working. Got 2 short halibut and the spotties liked it to. I was thinking sandworm but had none 🍻CHEERS
