Born and raised in Ranchi, Jharkhand, Suruchi had an innate talent for drawing and painting. After completing her MA in Home Science and winning several accolades for her imaginative creations during college, she decided to pursue her passion full-time. Her working experience in interior design paved the way for her aesthetically pleasing compositions. What started as a hobby later grew into exquisite and intuitive abstract art.
Suruchi is a mix-media artist based in Pune. Her work focuses on abstract art surrounding social issues, women’s empowerment, and spirituality. She is an intuitive artist who brilliantly captures daily life in a way that is reflective and hard-hitting. Her bold color scheme is a representation of the vitality and exuberance of a woman. She strongly believes that art can heal and revive, and the same is reflected in her religious paintings which have a meditative quality that provides a sense of inner peace and positivity.
Suruchi is a mental health advocate and conducts regular mental health workshops where she teaches the power of healing via art. In her free time, you can find her painting or writing poetry
