    Your gift of using the most basic elements of color, insects, sticks, thoughts, sensations, etc and blending them together with a few word and pictures is magical. It invokes my feelings of being there and reliving my memory of being in similar circumstances. It isn’t about the fish, but without the pike what’s the point!?

    Great stuff Rolf. I think you're accessing some kind of Jungian - "collective unconscious" - of fly fishing. I even had some "sympathy" mosquito bite itching while watching. : )

    By far the best film about not catching fish, but 'catching' everything important about (fly)fish in these images. Just love the atmosphere you create in your diaries. Big thanx for that!

    It is called Lichen in English. Ours is most commonly an ash grey/black or light green. Constant reminder of the natural network we enjoy and attempt to become a part of.

    What I love about flyfishing for pike is the suspense and adrenaline. It almost feels like you're going to be attacked by the pike rather than catch it. Flyfishing for brown trout is more of a relaxing affair for me.

    I don’t know how you do it, but somehow you bring us with you, not along side, but almost inside. I can’t explain the genius, but I love it. “I didn’t pick any berries but I had a berry in my hand for a while.” I too must go find a berry in my hand.

    Beautiful swamp atmosphere. You really know how to transport the "beeing there" feeling. Happy you start doing some videography on your chanel again. This is truely something different.     Great diary! How you deal with mosquitoes is beyond me. A few are ok..but when swarming I have to go with repellent and net hat. I can’t meditate like you. 😅 The look when you missed that fish.😄 Love your style of adaptation of fly with duct-tape. I could ramble on..but this is Your diary..Thanks for sharing it with us.     Damn mosquitos are really bad this year in sweden. I live in Örebro län and was never much annoyed by them, but this year they are hell. How the hell can anyone meditate while beeing eaten up by them 😅🙈
