i tried it! it is really cool but if you dont have any experience in animation like me it is only good for really simple animations like what he did. if your trying to make fighting and running animations i found it really it hard.
This was how I imagined designing animations should be. The stock rig in ue 5 keeps making my mannequin glitch especially when there's skin on. plus the legs are quite difficult for me to animate, I can't make the knees bend all the way to the hamstring in my sprinting animation project. Hopefully this would be the answer. Thanks for sharing.
Hello. How can I achieve having multiple animations for a character and play them as needed? For example, having walking, running, jumping, crouching, and playing the appropriate one based on whether I'm pressing WADS, or Space?
I was wondering if you can make/use an animation where an ai can grab you? For example, a zombie getting too close and grabs you and you have to struggle to push it off type of style?
Holy shit this tool is so cool. As a newbie to all of this, this has been the easiest animation tool I've seen so far.
I recently started using this software as well and its been super useful! Also not having to do any retargeting when importing into Unreal is great.
Totally agree!
This is what I have been searching. Thanks for the tutorial bro.
Everybody keeps showing difficult method. This is the easiest of all.
Thanks for the tutorial. Going to Settings - > Input Settings -> Blender Presets changes the input layout to feel like Blender
Didn't know that
This is so interesting. I hope you can do a series about this program.
Possibly
@@UnrealUniversity first person melee animations possible? Not sure how to attach FP camera setup
Thanks for the tutorial, been looking for something like this
awsome software to animate, thanks!
Looks good might give it a try, i stopped using blender and started doing in unreal but still not a big fan of unreal so this might be the ticket

thats pretty neat !
Was thinking of learning some sort of tool for some of the animations for my game .... this is pretty cool
Very helpful video! Like.
they should make pose plugins that can pose a character from still image, without the need to use Mouse for posing character
At 00:52 you mean i can't create a custom keyboard shortcut

Can you use these an8mations on a human charachter created in blender that has the same areas/bones as this mannequin?
If its rigged as the same way the ue5 one is, it should be :)
Very helpful video! I have one question, can you replace the mannequin with a metahuman before making the animation ?
I have not tried, but I know you can retarget ue5 animations to metahumans with good quality

I don't think I have any videos on that sorry
its very simple in UE5 (w Key when pressed) - play animation and select animation.
Can you tell me how to get root motion to work from cascadeur to unreal? My characters always snap back to where they start the animation.
I was wondering if you can make/use an animation where an ai can grab you? For example, a zombie getting too close and grabs you and you have to struggle to push it off type of style?
Do both halves of the animation and line it up in unreal.
Can you import animations for the ue mannequin and run the psysical animation thing to make them more realistic?
no, or at least when I have not found a way, I tried to but could not
this work with auto rig pro character??
It does give you the option to import your own models
Great vid as always!
thank you
I wish i could like and subscribe more than once
Very good.
Thanks!
Gonna check if the software is free, wish me luck chat
it has a free plan
Lol. That's not how you do jumping jacks. Too be fair though the picture you found wasn't very clear.
lol I don’t think you know how star jumps work, your feet touch on the inside and the outside 😂😂. Great vid though
sequencer in unreal does the thing.
Do the same animation in Control Rig and Cascadeur, report back your findings 😅
cant use for commercial use. ggs
got a shit kkkkkkkk
the software isn't free lol u have to pay for a plan for it to be useful otherwise u cant even use what u make.
