I own a Discovery 48. I find it is many times superior than the Chrometta series harmonicas. The case allows me to carry it in my cargo jeans. I own a Seydel Symphony and a Chromonica 270 but this one can be taken anywhere so it is the one that I most often practice on and play in my car, at the park, etc. I would recommend the Discovery 48 to any beginner or anyone looking for a good go-anywhere chromatic.

This one has a plastic comb and mouthpiece, if that helps.

Not more than a good beginner Harmonica.
The best thing about it is the Case

f.yi.......most harmonica books say the actual proper way to hold a harmonica IS in your LEFT therefore most leftys will hold in in their left hand so other than individual preference that .....the slide for most leftys already in the most comfortable position ...by their right hand.....the left hand is the primary guiding hand between the two hands...my point is rightys by playing their right hand are the ones playing backwards....ive seen many rightys play in their left hand anyway but william clarke and paul butterfield played in their rights but flipped harp upside down so the button is on the left for them......people doing chromatic harmonica demos should just say the slider is reversible for individual preference not because some one is a lefty .....a lefty has the harp already in his left so dont give new players wrong idea that they should flip slider.....the slider is in the wrong place for a righty

in other words the harmonica...on purpose or not was made to be played in left hand....so flipping the button is making it RIGHTHANDED not left....great demo ronnie
