played this as a cellist in 10th grade, and i like to come back every so often to think. this is probably one of the best pieces i've ever played
8th-12th grade I played the cello & honestly same. I miss it so much, whole reason why I came back to listen.

Another day of sun is like the hardest with the bowing and tempo (violin 1)

This is one of my favorite pieces. Whenever I listen to it, i get filled with nostalgia and I just have to close my eyes and take it all in
My father is a musician but mainly plays the clarinet, and he's taking me to their Band practice (elementary days) until 8th grade. This song reminds me of when I'll wake up to the sound of his clarinet and when I was sitting at the corner of their practice room as I listen to it. Maybe, just maybe, it's the reason why I'm so in love with orchestral music/classical music.
I transpose this so it would be for a sax quartet and I'm preforming it next week in school Christmas concert with the sax quartet I belong in

I play this in highschool, and as a freshmen who's trying to catch up to the rest of the orchestra, this song can be soo hard
it doesnt have any shifting and have pretty easy keys to play in. ive been learning for two years and playing more difficult pieces than this
@@nicholasmcintyre I have to agree here, unless that person is playing the solo for some reason. The most strange part may perhaps be the counting, but that can be made easy with some practice.

Im Younger but I did the solo for my 8th grade orchestra and it was so scary. I Did both solos at the beginning and end and I made my director cry. He said I did amazing and he gave me a day off, I Really love this song and it made my 8th grade year a lot better than it started as. I recommend this song because its not only great but it really brings people together. At the end of the school year which is in a bout a few weeks im going to replay it for my family to!
