Electric guitar is the ultimate destroyer of otherwise great live orchestra concerts. I have no idea why it so commonly gets added to pieces for live performances.
Laughing at all the keyboard musicians here. That’s an extremely high overtone note (Think higher than C and closer to Double C/G), and is an extremely hard note to hit unless you have some incredibly great chops. Lord knows I wouldn’t be able to hit it as good as my friend does, but I can hit undertones a lot better than he can. It’s all a balance of who’s better at what and how much effort you put
Great respect for Mr. Sołdrzyński for that trumpet solo. He was one of few who actually played it like in original.
