I downloaded the Fanatec software on my Pc and updated the firmware from there. (You can also calibrate all options for your wheel, pedals and Gearbox). Is that the same result?
Thanks for watching! As long as you've updated the firmware on a regular basis you should be fine. My issue was I had been away from racing for over a year and missed several updates. Then when I went from an old firmware to the latest it bricked my base. But the steps in this video recovered what I was afraid was going to be a very expensive screwup.
