Awwww congratulations!!!!! It has been such an inspiration to watch your progression and success. May nothing but goodness continue to line your path and enjoy D.C. I lived there for 5 years and the city holds a special place in my heart!
Welcome to the DMV! I just started my PhD in History at GMU. We moved south of Fairfax because I have kids and husband so no money for those houses. I fell in love with our WAWA its great! We've been here since July and I still don't feel completely settled yet.
Oh SNAP!! ARE WE CONNECTED! I lived in Philly and I have a lot of family in NJ! I was only on DC for the summer (these are just back logged videos lol) But I actually love a east coast winter!
I actually was wondering where you went lmao "She really finished that doctorate and really out there doctoring and whatnot." But I'm from Baltimore. Cant see myself going back BUT I'm applying to UCLA's PhD program rn for Anthro
Hahaha! I am definitely back now! lol sorry to worry you! CONGRATS on starting the process of applying to UCLA! I am so excited for you! Please keep me updated!

@@BrisaMarie Thanks for the video, it was very insightful. Please if you do not feel comfortable asking for a letter of rec from a faculty you have worked close with in the past, is that a red flag?
@MohammedAminu-m8e that's a great question! It depends why you feel uncomfortable, if it is because it's been a long time I think that's okay!!! But if you are uncomfortable because you don't know if they will write a positive letter then I would say yes that's a red flag.
