Finding a call two days before it closes is soo real. Good luck with GIS and the coming year and thank you for sharing about the process of becoming more independent as a researcher :)
HAhaha Yes! I almost didn't apply... but then I was like WHY NOT! lol thank you so much for the encouragement lol cuz I have no idea what I'm doing lol
I love this video!! So excited to see all the blessings 2025 brings. I love how open, honest and transparent you are with this journey. I love seeing your growth!
Happy New Year! So glad to have found your channel! I’m 6 months into a mathematical biology postdoc associate position and have also just started a newsletter (and therefore working on my writing for public and grant writing) Just subscribed to your newsletter! So much of what you said resonated (esp the part about getting over approaching ideas as an independent researcher instead of asking for permission! ) Will have to watch your “what’s next” video but overall excited to be joining you on this journey!
I'm finishing my MSW (graduate 5/15/25 God willing!), will get an LCSW, work on getting a CAAD (substance use counselor) license, and start working toward an LICSW! MAYBE start thinking about a DSW or PsyD or PhD?? I'm also already working on expanding my friend's clinical practice and adding in an Intensive Outpatient Program to that practice.
Thanks Brisa!! Happy New Year, I am writing my dissertation now and would love to hear more about the career & job journey you're on! You're about a year ahead of me in the process so this is all very helpful. Much love, Jordan
Happy New Year!!! And yes! Of course! I am happy you are interested in that part of my journey! What program are you in? How are you feeling about future post-grad life?
Happy New Year! Recently, I graduated from my PhD in Education program and I am completing a 6 month Post -Doc in Higher Education Leadership and Management program. The goal is to apply to participate in a conference where I can present my research and apply for Part-time/Profitable, International/Impactful, Enjoyable, and Remote (P.I.E.R) opportunities that align with my passion and expertise. I wish you continued success with your endeavors!
Oh my goodness!!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS ALL SO AMAZING!!! YOU ARE SO AMAZING!!! I imagine you are probably so proud of yourself! Those are such HUGE accomplishments!!! Thank you so much for sharing! Happy New Year! And CONGRATS AGAIN!!!
