When the structure deck comes out, you will want to run 1 OG RDA, due to Scar-RDA’s effect and the effect of the support cards. It’s worth it. Trust me.
Funny how the comment about a Field spell aged, considering how it now pretty much has 2 Field spells with Crimson Gaia and Red Zone with neither of them being Field spells for some reason.
Very informative video! I'll be picking 3 copies of the Crimson King structure deck in September as my entry point for getting back into the game as well as building my arguably first serious deck. I'm really looking forward to finding ways to customize it and really make it my own.
The hard part for me, as someone who likes to have at least a bit of variety, and semi-originality, is gonna be not just adding variety for the sake of variety. It's gotta complement it somehow, like covering a weakness. For example, the archetype is synchro-heavy so if my opponent has a card that locks me out of synchro summoning, I'm in for a rough time. So I'm thinking I need to find a way to tuck a fusion/xyz/link monster or two into my extra deck.
Red Nova Dragon. If konami replace the negate attack to negate if targeted by a card effect. This card would be perfect. because like you said. Who will attack a monster with 5000 Attack.
In the decklist, please excuse the Double "One for One". I don't know how that got added in there, but it's not supposed to be. Replace it with a generic trap card staple
@@MattTGM the only thing it suffers from is once supernova is down it fails in recovery I do also beelze of the diabolic dragons as the toughest of the extra deck dragons being immune to destruction by battle and card effects the attack gain is great king calamity is a hard hitter
@@MattTGM ah, well I meant it as an equivalent to Shooting Majestic Star Dragon, so in my mind that tag out wouldn’t be there, but instead a temporary banish similar to Red Nova Dragon.

Surprised you only glossed over Burning Soul, considering the sheer power it can have. Recycling any card of your choice from the GY is already good enough, but the Quick Spell Speed gives you the ability to Synchro into nearly anything at any time to dodge effects, pile on extra damage, or even jump into an Abyss/King Calamity out of fucking nowhere to bring surprise disruption the opponent could not have accounted for (Provided you time it right for King Calamity)
I think that clock resonators special effect could be usefull if combined with the spirit barrier trap card that way you can have him on the field without taking damage until you can use it as a syncro material am I wrong ?
@piskigamesgr5278 in theory, I see your idea and understand what you're going for But in practicality that's an unsearchable trap card used to protect a tuner on the field. In this deck, that tuner will be gone from the field way before the opponents turn Also, clock resonators effect only works in defence mode, so the spirit barrier card doesn't help much

I see tons of people saying to buy 3 decks. But a 1 single deck contain 9 forms of RDA and makes it easy to summon any of them thanks to Resonatoes.

I've been on the receiving end of Red Dragon archfiend. So yeah I can tell you I've been OTKed a lot by these cards except Supernova so far.
Oh yeah, that power is notorious. Supernova is in a different weight class though

I run red supernova dragon as my ace monster in my deck which is 2 crimson king structure decks combined
