4:08 Yes, you do need to tune drums. Depending on the type of drum, you will need to tune it occasionally because the vertical bindings that hold the top of the drum down gradually get looser, affecting the pitch. For these drums, there is a nob to tighten the binding which was used when the drum was first constructed.

So I have a fun story with Battle Ball that I read at one point. Two friends were playing, one on Ancient Gears, the other on Super Heavy Sam. The Super Heavy Sam player would lose his opponet's next turn, which they had Chaos Ancient Gear Golem. What did the SHS player top-deck? Battle Ball. Lol. He made sure the opposing monster was level 10 and only was not effected by Spells and Traps, and Syncro summoned Steam King. Then the AG player said, "Did you just yugioh top-deck me?"
was that at pax south 2018? cause i did the exact thing, i almost lost because choas gear prevents monster effects so my gigagloves in grave wouldnt save me, and top decked battleball

Alternate silly tech pick: Antihuman Intelligence ME-PSY-YA. It’s a scale zero that keeps your grave clear of spells and traps if you end up needing to side in some MSTs to counter Skill Drain.
You probably already knew this, but Shuten Doji's explanation section lacks any visuals. Small and basically irrelevant notes: - Transporter, as janky as it is, can always just be used as another Waraji-esque body for synchro plays if worse comes to worst. - if for whatever reason your opponent only has one monster to attack directly with, Gigagloves is not once per chain. You can directly dig up multiple cards to add to your hand if you built your deck suboptimally and just want to thin your deck faster - Flutist's targeting protection only works once per turn even if you have multiple copies in grave, so beware of the off chance of a second targeting effect ruining your day - Soulbeads can bring back Swordsman, who can swap itself to defense, basically causing your opponent's attempt to bite the bullet when they had no removal to be in vain. - Soulpeacemaker's irrelevant attack drawing effect can be used to set an attack lock without a second copy of Magnet. Never do this unless you're desperate, and more often than not, note even then. - Soulbang Cannon won't trigger its board wipe if you negate a card effect from somewhere other than the field, so keep that in mind if you decide to stop something like Kiteroid, Swift Scarecrow, Honest, and other such hand traps or grave effects. Your monsters will still be able to attack. Stopping something like Evenly Matched will still nuke the field though. - Shanao's pendulum effect is most likely going to remain unused, simply sitting on the field as a deterrent since your opponent can just see it sit there. Menacingly. Since it is upon attack declaration, no reflect damage has to be applied either. And its revival/scaling effect is only usable the first time (basically once per copy, barring recursion), since it only works upon its synchro summon specifically. - Steam Train King's discard cost is a minor way to set up your other samurais' grave effects, whether it be immediate protection from Flutist, deck stacking from Gigagloves, the free body from Fist, etc. Not Soulpiercer though. Don't even think about it. - Assuming your opponent has no interruption, Soulpiercer by itself can be a 1-card level 10 or 12 synchro (2 cards, if you count the discard for Scarecrow). Soulpiercer -> Scarecrow, search Soulpeacemaker, revive Piercer, use Peacemaker to turn Piercer into Scales, Piercer search Trumpeter, Scales revive Piercer, summon trumpeter. from there, either make Susanowo (and perhaps search another Trumpeter if you just want to make Masurao), or use Piercer to go into Shuten Doji to wipe backrow and search another Trumpeter to go into either level 12. Rise to Full Height can combo with Soulbuster Gauntlet *_ONLY_* if Rise to Full Height is lower on the chain link than Soulbuster. Soulbuster makes the defense exactly double of the *original* defense of the monster. Keep that in mind.
My favorite moment with Battle Ball was when an opponent in Master Duel summoned a Timelord in their first turn and I used Battle Ball to use their monster as material for my strongest Superheavy Samurai Synchro Monster, equipped it with SoulHorns and won on the second turn of the Duel.

My first successful "semi competitive" deck in Ranked Duels of Duel Links, that I was surprised how fun to play it is. It has become one of my favorite archetype and decks ever since. Thanks to cards like Battleball, the Superheavy Samurai Soul cards + Big Benkei, and the new support, it has many ways to build the deck. Although I still wonder "which is the best way to go?". Focus on Synchro Summon and commit to the "NO S/T here" by going pure? Focus on Battleball + kaijus? or go the new way by focusing on "generic good extra deck monster spam" with the new pendulum support alongside "Generic good EARTH Machine support"? Hopefully GoldenNova has a good answer
I main Superheavies and I once made my friend throw out his brand new Lunalight Deck because of how badly Swordsman walled them. One of the greatest highlights of my dueling career!
I actually started playing this deck recently in master duels during the no spell event, thank you fore this. And on a different note, i relly fell like this arctype needs a spell and trap negate card, i mean this arctype is all about stopping the user of Them from using spell and trap cards, a card that stops the opponent from it would actually fit relly well, i know we have cards that destroy Them when they are on the field, and a monster that negates effeckts that targets your monsters, but thats not what i mean, i mean something like that there most recent boss monster (the second level 12 one) could have built in something like “if your oppenent activates a spell or trap card, you Can bannish a Super heavy samurai from your graveyard to negate the activasion, and if you do destroy it” thats actually why i dont counsider Naturia beasts as out of place in the ekstra deck.
back in my college days i faced off one of my friend who wielding a Blue-eyes deck. i wanted to get back into yugioh at the time but i only had ten SHS cards. i tried it anyway. thanks to gigagloves and bustergauntlet, and benkei i ran him over in 2 turns. amongst my friend group i began to be known as "the metal turtle" (i also used dinomist is why). Great video! Some other important out of archetype techs I'd mention are archfiend eccentrick and mythical beast garuda which offer spell/trap removal that keeps the gy clear
Drop a Kaiju lvl 10 on anything your opponent has even a lvl 1. Make Steam Train attach 2x damage or attack monster. 9600 is game. And Denko Seka , Goyo Guardian and the Earth True Draco. I made it nasty.
battleball is dark attribute because it gets its power from lord of the lair, to use opponents power against them. idk if thats true or not but it fits for me
Fun Fact: All the cards japanese names(except the Soul cards) are a play on words. You see the last syllable in their names is usually an english letter, number, etc., that sounds like how it's normally written. Example: SHS Beast Kyubi is written Kyu-B.
There's a bit of an editing error at 35:50 where Ogre Shutendoji should appear but it's just Musashi. Understandable as I too hate to look at Shutendoji when it hits the field. Great video regardless.
I love the deck. And I so happy the new support is coming out. Tho I agree with you when it comes to the pendulums scales a free benkei summon would help the deck out tremendously
SYNCHRO SHOUKAN!!! P.S. I wasn't specifically waiting on this, but I'm not complaining. I've loved this archetype ever since I had one of the best duels of my life using it, an hour-long one on duelingnexus years ago in high school.
33:10 "something that will be teched in to so many pendulum good stuff decks. Something that's entirety good for the game" Yet in the metalfoes video. Bashed on Electrumite coming back
I like the unique rules for when they play the car games on the motorcycles because they change the rules while you’re doing it on the motorcycle and they’re all set for a while. It’s on the motorcycle is really cool in my opinion if we could play the game like that without being on the motorcycle, because that just be logistically insane in real life it would be lots of fun
So one of the cool things you can do is you can equip Peacemaker to Soulpiercer and get a ton of advantage. I used to do it way way back in the day in Duel Links when Superheavys first became available and Darklords were the Meta
Oh, I’ve got a crazy idea on how to use Superheavy Samurais! Include one spell. Just one. The perfect spell… BERSERKER SOUL. Since every other card will be a monster card, if you have the right monster on the field, you’ll be able to unleash the ultimate beat down!
An interesting tech choice you miss was gravity balance. Revive the soul arrow. Then banishing it the train. Getting double search. Since arrow is not once per turn or gimmick lock. Testing I got into Infernity situation so many times. Where I was more limited on my monster zones.
I use Masurawos protection effect to trigger my SHS monsters as well like drums, and Stealth Ninja since they only need to be destroyed by a card effect, and not specifically the opponents.
Currently at giga gloves and want to say real quick. Flutist isn't ran anymore, and giga gloves is still ran because of the new level 12, it's a good way to guarantee handtraps if you can trigger it before the end of your turn. Which isn't the hardest in the world. Combined with helper and shenao (typing from memory) you can get away with some funny stuff even if they board wipe.
bro, don't you dare disrespect monk by saying coral or jade are better. The scales are 1 - 8, yeah, but you never pendulum anything in that range because with the pace of the game now those cards aren't great. You run the base benkei just for the send fodder. As a SHS main I'm a bit miffed...
Alrighty, good video! But I've found that SHS does great with board breaking. Running a good amount of impactful handtraps then OTKing due to the new support adding so many ways of getting cards to the field through disruption. Just clear a path then smash through all that stands in your way! A TRUE HEAVY STRONG STYLE!!!!
I used to run a direct attacking SHS deck that took advantage of Benkei's ability and high defense combined with cards that allow monsters to attack directly to just end the game a massive direct attack. Of course this complete when against the Strong Style of the deck.
19:15 or u can just give your opponent some nasty monsters that lock them out of summoning at all. Its more a FTK or lock your opponent yajiro invader then super heavy support.
I'm possibly in the minority here, but I would prefer if you covered the cards in order of release. It's weird that the first card you cover for the archetype is a card launched a year after the archetype's debut, it's like covering Shaddoll by starting with Schism. Most archetypes (even tho anime archetypes may be a exception) usually present very well their main themes and mechanics within the cards in the first 2 or 3 set. By reviewing the cards in release order, you're not only presenting the evolution of the archetype over time, but also following the logical progression that Konami intended for the archetype. I'm not saying that this would be ideal for every archetype, but I think would make big archetypes like SHS, which spans multiple years, easier to understand, and getting to see how the archetype evolved over time is also a nice bonus.
in both my experiences and the way the cards are structured, they work best as a pure build, especially stuff like flutist and glove, trying to splash in things is essentially giving yourself a handicap
A good "combo" with scarecrow is you somehow get soulpiercer, search scales, discard scales to summon scales, scales summons soulpiercer and you have 2 materials for something
A great choice to add would definately be Berserker Soul. Since you're running oops all monsters anyway, you'll be dealing an enormous amount of damage as long as you clear your opponents board first.
I still say they could give more variety to the extra deck. Monsters can use an effect to fuse... But xyz and more links is a more likely choice to increase extra deck monsters

CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES
Card games on motorcycles
Ok so um...is it just me, or is the wrong card appearing when you are talking about shutendoji?
Loving the new intro bud
I only had Battleball for a few years but if anything ever happened to them I would delete the whole madolche archetype and then myself
Thank you! My comments have been heard!🎉
Duel monsters on drivable machines you say.
Wow that's the theme I am most nostalgic about
And the new support is super heavy
An interesting tech choice you miss was gravity balance. Revive the soul arrow. Then banishing it the train. Getting double search. Since arrow is not once per turn or gimmick lock. Testing I got into Infernity situation so many times. Where I was more limited on my monster zones.
just a double search? iv gotten 3 searches turn 1 from piercer
I'd also recommend Archfiend Eccentrick as a tech for spell removal, and another pend you can summon out.
24:00 when you need that extra pinch of damage and you are attacking directly.
That was a heavy load to bear but you managed to do it, great video
6:42 Battleball you are very round and good.
Contrary to popular believe there are a lot of percussion instruments that need to be tuned, drums are no exception.
Of all the archetypes they could have chosen for Monkeyboard Part 2, I'm happy it was this one
Ah yes, the only deck where I don't need to worry about Backrow options
BB is super duper cute, is almost friend shaped and is primo useful.
in both my experiences and the way the cards are structured, they work best as a pure build, especially stuff like flutist and glove, trying to splash in things is essentially giving yourself a handicap
Yay my favourite archetype.
Also sekka's light works pretty well in this deck.
Sekka does lock you out of your pendulum cards,
Which is not ideal.
Pot of Benevolence works funny enough, since it banishes itself
A good "combo" with scarecrow is you somehow get soulpiercer, search scales, discard scales to summon scales, scales summons soulpiercer and you have 2 materials for something
And another search
Like the intro nova and super heavy be super cool
The audio was off during the synchro and can you add what packs to get some of the cards in
A great choice to add would definately be Berserker Soul. Since you're running oops all monsters anyway, you'll be dealing an enormous amount of damage as long as you clear your opponents board first.
Is it worth turning off all your effects though?
@@erikklouda570 It's more for a game ender than anything else. Seen it done a couple of times and it was really funny.
Don’t forget. Stealth ninja can attack directly and still trigger berserker soul
Is there any cards that can let you put one of your spells/traps in your opponents grave that could counter this deck?
I still say they could give more variety to the extra deck.
Monsters can use an effect to fuse...
But xyz and more links is a more likely choice to increase extra deck monsters
