Ha yes, i was hesitating between Barbie and Oppenheimer, but I finally choose a new GxAce videos. Thanks GxAce.
Ha! Great comment
hahaha
Maybe my favorite comment ever.
BarbGxEnheimer
You fool! The Oppenheimer film and GxAce videos are art-less, meaningless trash created by people with the aesthetic sensibility of a wet sponge! The Barbie movie on the other hand -- move aside Shakespeare, Kubrick, Velázquez because there is TRUE ART that speaks to the human condition on so many highly significant levels!
What a strange time in camera when a $6k camera is described as "Leica's answer to Fujifilm". Great praise for the X100v.
Why are these videos SO good. The pacing, visuals, sound design, and music is incredible.
Collaboration, Discipline, Passion, Dedication, Reconsideration.
The whole production behind these videos is just amazing, I watch them with full focus because they're just so captivating. Fully engaging my attention and senses, which is rare these days.
No, they are not, because the still PHOTOGRAPHY in them is poor, weak, insubstantial and does not stand on it's own. Therefore the production lacks integrity, is false, and lacks integrity. It's the form of propaganda we know as advertisement. You are cued up by the music to not SEE, a really unfortunate, though common, error. You have only an average eye.
@@johnsmith1474 Interesting. Could you elaborate? I'm a film scholar myself so I know a lot about persuasive cinematic tools. GxAce is clearly forming a more stylized content signature than many other photographers on RUclips, and I think it would be a poor choice of words to call it " poor, weak, insubstantial" just because the production is heightened by music or narrative. Besides, people have different tastes in photos.
@@johnsmith1474 I actually quite enjoy his photography, could you elaborate as to why you find it poor?
Ace I just wanted to let you know that I found you about a year ago and I've watched every video since. I don't have a dedicated camera and probably wont for many many years, but I absolutely love your videos. Almost every video you put out makes me feel a bit emotional, I actually feel like crying sometimes. Thats how good of a film maker you are. I wish you had the resources/desire to make a movie, I think it would be fantastic.
Thank you for re inspiring me to get into photography again. Your videos have motivated me to shoot similar images and through this process I’ve learnt so many new things I never even heard of before. Keep doing what you’re doing, you’re a rare gem in the vast world of the RUclips algorithm.
This is the greatest photography channel in the history of the internet. The visuals and audio make my tingle all over.
When the video about a camera used create high-end art with is also high-end art itself, you’ve won at the talent lottery.
The cinematography is insanely good.
Sometimes i loose the drive going out making photos. Every single time i watch your videos i‘m hyped again. Thanks for your work, it‘s insanely good! Greetings from germany
5:27 I love the way you use the lens flare from that light behind the Leica in that shot. Wonderful.
Still cannot believe how great content you make! You are absolute inspiration! Thank you
Insane work as always you never miss. Keep up the good work GxAce, you always inspire and motivates me to take my camera out of my shelf to do some photos. Your the reason i still love photography as a hobby rather than a job.
these videos are amazing works of art! thank you
All your videos are such a mood! Wonderful!
Huge props for all your cinematic masterpieces! Even the photos are looking like stills from a movie. Insane. I've bought a M10P last year, because I wanted the full manual experience. I love these cameras - especially the overall build quality is insane, and I don't wanna miss it. But if I wanted to buy a Leica now, I would go for the Q3. :)
I can't tell you how much i love you videos, they are just a blessing to watch
I bought the Q when it was first released years ago; and it has been a charm. I too would crop post when needed. When the cash flow picks up, I will definitely trade up to the Q3. I had a day when my cap kept falling off on a walk; so, I bought a foam cap that covers most of the lens: and this seams like a natural solution. The foam goes in my pocket, and then it is stiff enough that it slides right on, and protects most of that magnificent lens. You are the best! ❤
28mm gang for life GX. I don’t have thousands to put towards a Leica but a few months back i got myself a Ricoh GRIII. Fantastic little camera. I’d love to see you review it sometime.
If there's anyone I want to see photos of Japan from, it's absolutely you.
Once again! An absolute masterpiece! Unmatched level of creativity! You are way beyond other creators! Greetings from Bamberg!
Again your photos and videos are simply amazing!!
Man, following a rough day, a GxAce drop is the hype I absolutely needed, awe inspiring work as ever man 💪
Congratulations on hitting 200k subscribers! Frankly it should have been a million by now. You and your content deserve it!
This is peak dedication. Hands down to this man
I want to lick the screen, and scratch at it until I can paint myself onto these images, intermingle with them, smell the smells and haunt the shadows ever wanting to taste a little more of this world.
Every camera you review I feel like I NEED to buy. Incredible stuff, every time. Thank you!
I'm pretty convinced that your videos have caused a shift in the camera market.
I've watched about 6 of your videos over the past 2 years and your photography, audio design, and story telling is great. Every time I watch I'm taken on a journey with room for breath. Refreshing compared to the break-neck speed of most RUclipsrs. Thank you for risking potential clout for true artistic potential. I feel like it could use more tonal shifts as the length of the video becomes draining.
Your videos give off a feeling that I love, thankyou for your amazing work, its incredible and unique. Keep making awesome stuff man.
Dude your use of sound and experimenting with sound design really adds so much to your videos, inspiring 🔥
I absolutely love your videos... extremely immersive.
Your works need to be seen by every people on this earth. Great job. Can’t see to see the next!
Top notch as usual. Always a pleasure to watch and get immersed in.
Quality content, once again. thanks for all the work you've been putting out.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 as always. Thank you for always inspiring us.
The original Q was a dream camera for me since around it's release, which is when I first learned about Leica as well. I was finally able to find a good enough deal on a used Q to justify to cost about 6 months ago; and the camera is everything I dreamed it would be. It rarely leaves my side, and I will likely never let it go.
Same here :)
You constantly inspire me
Congrats on 200k sub!
Thanks again for an awesome video.
Love the music and sounds in your vids!
Melhor surpresa do dia - receber uma notificação que há um novo vídeo do GxAce.
I’ve always adored the Q series. Phenomenal video as normal!
So good! 🤌✨Looking forward to seeing where you take your channel and art, next!
Nothing makes me happier than seeing a new GxAce video on my feed. Perfect as always, and makes me want to book a plane to anywhere I can get lost with a camera.
Always enjoy when you release a new video. ❤
Man, everything about your presentation is stoking the fire in me to veer into this direction. I'm not even entirely sure what I'm referring to or how that translates to what I do but it's just so incredibly alluring that it yanks at my creative intuition.
Some cameras you love some you... obsess over. This Q3 is quite perfect! Anyone who isn't part of the Patreon for GXACE... what are you waiting for... tibfox, you aced it!
You're one of the best to ever do it. Don't let a soul tell you otherwise.
Production is just amazing! 🔥
Another great video buddy! Superb visuals as usual. Keep 'em coming!
very interesting and well made as always!!!!
Brilliant work as always!
I've been following this mantra since I got my a6300. I got a 30mm f1.4 lens, and that's all I need. Forcing myself to work with only a prime lens has drastically improved my composition.
Really enjoyed this. Your videos are on another level.
Option Paralysis… what a great turn of phrase describing too much choice. Love it. Finally worked out who your work reminds me of, the illustration work of Simon Stalenhag and his vision of a future dystopia.
Amazing shots! This was a really enjoyable watch 👍
Man, this is the most maxed camera review I've ever seen. I'm blown away by this. Immediate Sub! Also I have two song recs I think you'll like:
Vetiver by Healion, Ex-Terrestrial, Priori
Colour Dance Behind the Eyelids - Tom VR
Haha thanks man. I often think I've gone too far. Thanks for the sub and the recs ;D. I'm a huge fan of your C4d videos and have watched a ton of them ;)
@@GxAce Going too far might be where you actually wanna go. 🙂
yoo fancy seeing you here Clint!
It’s EXACTLY where you want to go! It is what makes your reviews so unique
AINT NO WAY MY TWO WORLDS CLASHING, OG CORRIDOR CREW MEMBER AND GXACE! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE
Absolutely, why I still have my OMD EM1. The flip screen is fantastic for not attracting attention…
I always get excited when a RUclips fills my ultra-wide monitor. 🤗
I just got back home from Japan. I took 362 photos of that Gundam and none are as intriguing as the shot at 1:04.
From this angle it reminds me of the real ships getting repaired at the drydocks in my city.
I always learn something new from your videos GX, Thanks for everything you do!
Awesome video and music, honestly, I'd watch hundreds of videos like this with no talking and all visuals/vids/music. This is David Fincher level quality.
GxAce - A separate kind of fine art!
Although I came to watch the desired camera and forgot about it).
incredible every time
I recently acquired this camera, coming from a Fuji XPro3. I kept the XPro as I just love the look and feel. The Q3 is just on a different level. The image quality is astounding and the its feels very solid. The image quality along with the 1.7 is just...............something you have to experience in person. I am not disappointed. great video GxAce as always. Thanks.
for a 6k point-n-shoot you'd better hope it's good
@@sonpois oh it is.
Man your videos are a piece of ART!
Love the "GX" treatment you gave to this german masterpiece, your aesthetic vision is epic! --- Bladerunner to the max! Keep up the amazing work, thank you!!! (is that a minidisc player you have in the background, I love them and have lots of players and recorders, amazing tech and soooo underrated!
awesome as always.
My dude these are INCREDIBLE
I agree with you about the flip out LCD screen, I use the waist level style of shooting heavily.
You are still doing exceptional films about the passion of using the right gear and enjoy the aesthetics of it.
Dude your Videos are unbelievable.
This was absolutely gorgeous man. Another killer video
A truly gorgeous camera. I've been rolling with a "budget" kit at the moment (Sony a6000) but I think the Q3 is going to haunt my dreams forever now.
You my friend remain unmatched.
Excellent take on this rig AND Japan. I recognize a few place in Tokyo proper and it's cool to see another photographer's take on this place. Excellent images and edits.
Bro your videos are a trip. Movies in of them selves, amazing work.
Congratulations on 200k subs!
A review from you about the Sony FX3 would be so amazing
Hi GxAce, i adore your editing style and recently I've been messing around with textures for video and photo. I found that applying a black frame with a slight feather over the images with the "Classic Color Burn" blend mode in After Effects creates this burnt away edge that looks like the image edge on a film frame border, it allows highlights to bleed out the edges slightly in a really natural way. I think premiere and resolve both have options to do something similar as well, Idk if you'll like that but I thought it looked really cool and would fit in with how you present your photographs.
I would love to see a video featuring the edixa reflex camera. They're one of the most beautiful, unique, and historic film cameras in many people's eyes.
man. i am in absolute awe of your stuff. I got so excited like a little kid when I saw that you posted. good lord it's gonna be a good day
I agree, forget rare Camembert and Brie from forgotten lorned French villages. Embrace your inner Monterey Jack. Plain and yellow.. love it.
Another cinematic masterpiece from GxACE 🙏
a new GxAce video for my birthday... there's no better present
gxAce is the new RUclips standard. We salute you
the whole Q line is amazing
It's a game changer camera, but its not easy to forget the principals and quality you lavished in the X100 or X100F or Epson RD1 as many of us still do. This new Leica is a beauty and super nice but there is still something more interesting in 12mp and 35mm, especially Fuji. Great channel as always.
Another GxAce masterpiece, want to get a Q3 now haha
I just ordered my q3 minutes ago. was lovely to watch a video talk with such care about this incredible camera! can't wait to see what you make next.
men i love your reviews! keep going on !
I've got a lot more modest of a setup. Canon RP plus sigma art 35mm 1.4. Does the job for me. When you only bring one lens, you do forgo choice.
I take pictures of birds and wildlife though, so having a choice to use a telephoto on different outings even with the small camera is nice.
I've used the X100 before, and I even had the chance to get the 2010 one for a measly 200 dollars, but I passed it up. Hopefully someone else is loving it right now.
Like you say, all cameras are good enough. Focus on the lens that does what you need, and go spend your time taking photos. Your camera is better than Ansel's.
Thankful for this account. In the age of social overload it’s nice to see rich art
I had a chance to do a shoot with a pre-production version a few months back.
Amazing colours, and that lens is a boss!
A new Gxace Film release?
Dropped everything to watch. Dont regret it.
i dont think ive ever left one of your video not feeling inspired! 🙏🏻
Agreed! The Q is the perfect camera! Although I only have the Q1, I think it’s got enough resolution to satisfy my needs.
I don't even care to buy this camera yet the review was perfection.
Nice one Leica Q3 my dream camera
This man i capable of making a masterpiece everytime he reviews a camera. I'm really speechless everytime.
Another new video! YES!!!
The Leica Q3 Review I've been waiting for
