On November 8, 2022, police were advised of a theft from a motor vehicle incident in Wausau, WI. The 911 caller had tracked the location of his backpack to a residence via Apple Airtag after it was stolen from his vehicle. While police consulted with the resident of the home, their sister pulled up, questioning the officers’ actions and mayhem emerged.
The purpose of the featured content is to show the law enforcement interaction. It is NOT to publicly shame, ridicule, or degrade the individuals involved. Today’s world is swarmed with politics and conversations that are often misleading about our law enforcement officers. We feel it is vastly significant and imperative to show these interactions in their respective environments to inform and educate the overall public.

I thought that too. After watching this, my belief is that she's the thief and using her brother as a patsy. That explains the shit fit about cops looking in the garbage (she knew what they'd find) and losing her mind over police entering the house.

They illegally entered the vicinity without a search warrant. The subject wasn’t in plain sight nor on a public property. Thus, no matter what, they should’ve had a search warrant to retrieve the subject in question.

They 100 percent seem like criminals but the law could have been abided by to secure the alleged criminals. They get paid to do it the right way. Oh I absolutely agree with you that she definitely knew there were stolen items in that residence. But I think the reason she was acting so irrational was because she truly thought that she knew what she was talking about, lol telling the cops they were violating their rights, and they needed a warrant, etc. She must have never heard about a little thing called PROBABLE CAUSE...And the air tag ping from Mario's location gave those cops PROBABLE CAUSE to SEARCH that location. So they didn't need a warrant that miss ghetto know-it-all keeps screeching about. 🙄🙄

No, the gentleman reported a missing bag and the airtag pinged to a house where there were empty purses, wallets, and credit cards in the trash cans. They don't need a warrant to search that. They smelled weed and were sweeping the residence to secure it while they waited for the warrant to search. Even the owner of the house tried to tell his sister that!

I think, and actually you can just Google this, the smell of weed alone generally isn't enough to be used as probable cause. And actually it has been misused as an excuse for illegal searches. The dude said when they walked up that it pings here and there, even he is uncertain cause tech glitches. I think a good lawyer might at least have an argument here, and most courts would probably say that generally a judge should make this decision by issuing a warrant, not a police officer

With a good lawyer, her antics/theatrics, may help their case. Had brother willingly let cops and his buddies ransack the residence, it's considered admission of guilt, and lawyers/defense cant do much.. suspects on tape did not concede to them going in their house. Etc. Sister acting Diva kinda helped, as they had nary a search warrant. And It's at worst a petty theft charge/they took the bag that he left on a bench etc. The wallets in the trash can, unless they confess. A bum on the street could have tossed those there etc. So yeah.
