- Had to wait for this for almost a decade and sometimes you only get that one shot, they say. It so happened that I was lucky to get permission to record and edit the show of one of my favourite bands ever: Be'Lakor
Hailing from the other side of the world, i.e. Australia, chances to see these guys live here in Europe are low and rare, but I had to make the effort (thanks to Flo for assisting me in the pit) on their tour last year. Party.San Festival, being one of my favourites over the last decades, was the location of choice for the recording and despite the odds (afternoon show, most melodic band on the billing, tour stress) it turned out to be a great experience for me. I made memories for myself and I want to pass on a fraction of that today. So enjoy and watch yourselves!

Irgendwie sieht diese grandiose Band live immer irgendwie wackelig aus, finde ich. Sie bekommen immer die Kurve aber manchmal echt knapp
Sie kriegen die Kurve, aber sind auch sehr selbstkritisch, was ihre Liveperformances angeht. Riesentypen persönlich und ich bin ihnen sehr dankbar, dass ich einen ihrer Auftritte recorden und rausbringen durfte, auch wenn es nicht der beste ihres Lebens war und auch ein, zwei Songs des Toursets wegen des Zeitlimits auf dem PSOA gefehlt haben und tagsüber die Stimmung vielleicht ganz anders rüberkommt. War auch erst das zweite mal nach dem Breeze vor x Jahren, dass ich sie zu Gesicht bekommen habe. In der Summe zählt für mich die Erinnerung an diesen Moment im letzten Jahr, da sind spielerische und technische Issues sekundär.
@@IridumStream Klar, hab ich mir gedacht. Ist ja auch trotzdem geil. Bisschen mehr Routine und Souveränität live wäre halt noch die Krönung.
