This beautiful song and the somewhat sad yet amazing lyrics with a little story about two little hopeful birds growing up together and then being seperated by faith for no actual reason until one of them accidentally kills the other one, is probably the most beautiful way of showing that life is a little bitch.

After one but before the next,
In a tree where new life writhed and flexed
Two birds emerged to hold the world
And grow from feeble talons curled
But fate see them part that day
As lightning cut their branch away
By winds to distant places sent
Almost as if it all had meant
That though their bloodied wounds would fade,
They'd wonder where their brother lay
For every day from that day on
They'd wait to hear a certain song
In vain, for years, thought one was strong
And one was not, for far too long
Until his bones and thoughts were old,
And feathers burnt and lost and cold
The stronger of the two could see
A distant bird, how weak was he
In drawing near but knowing not,
Just who he was, or why, or what
the stronger talons tore at flesh
And stripped away that feathered mess
And all without a sound or cry,
    Or even ever knowing why
Yet as the sun began to sink
He seemed to sense, he seemed to think
That soon his brother might appear
From somewhere close, from somewhere near
Convinced this was his brother's fate,
Above his corpse, he sat... to wait

Started 35 years ago with hard rock than metal then trash than female vocals and ended up with mdm.Used to like Amon Amarth ,Mors ,Kalmah,Insomnium but Be'lacor i think are superior than all .I listen to them the past 5-6 months

I think *@be'lakor* haven't realized yet the impact of the music they have created in this album.

One of the saddest songs I heard in a while... Be'lakor are both very simple to listen but very complex on the other hand... Just awesome =)

    Very inspired lyrics.
Reminds me of an old Arthurian tale in which two brother's fight fully geared, and thus shrouded. Upon dealing mortal wounds to one another, they unmask to see their own brother staring back at them in the thralls of death.

Great that bands like Be´lakor are reaching people everywhere I listened to your music a couple of months ago, and i must admit that you seriously kick ass. Brings me a lot of memories back when the Swedish Gothenburg sound was the shit back in the day, even if it was a brief period. I got the Stone´s Reach download, but i´m definitely buying all your releases on cd. Do you ship to Mexico? Massive respect from Mexico, stay fucking metal.

You guys were one of the best bands I've found in the last months. The only bad thing is that I didn't find you sooner :)

You blokes have created my favourite album of the year, I can't stop listening to this. 8 songs is just not enough!!! Wintersun & Ensiferum are definitely going to have to release something tremendously off the scale this summer to beat this album. Brilliant.
