Be'lakor will always be my number one favorite melodic death metal band, no matter what. Every single song they write touches my soul in a way that just cannot be compared to any other.
I disagree with that not fact really false all sounds like nothing different it's not music it's static most people don't know music has to be 528 or 444 hertz to be music any thing else is static it's true proven in 2014 only one American guy has music at 444 hertz country music and singer so he is the only guy on earth to count period from Marcus in australia no like needed or like.

5:42 Man, you guys are way too good at creating such beautiful and meaningful riffs, accompanied by absolutely amazing lyrics. Very impactful moments and feelings are woven into your songs. I deeply admire you as artists.
I'd know that I've found my wife in the woman that could genuinely appreciate music like this right alongside of me. Jamming out to this while driving...I'd put a ring on that. Love this music Be'lakor!!
I know I am a few years late to the Be'lakor scene, but man I am glad I found you guys. Your music is so deep on so many levels. I love the lyrical style, especially this song. This song helped me face reality when my father died. It painfully reminds me of our last year together, torn apart by stubbornness after a huge fight on fathers day. When the time came a year later and we found out how much little time he had left, there was not enough time to mend the wounds. Your music has helped heal me emotionally from that wound. Thank you for what you do.
Be'lakor I would like to extend my thanks to you guys. I used to be a big fan of metal, especially melodic death from 2003-2010 during which time I amassed a large library of all the great albums of that period along with many of the great albums extending back to the formative years of many the metal sub genres. Sometime after I reached my 20s my active listening to what was being released in the metal scene began to fade, however my taste for the music never dwindled. It was only this year that while revisiting my old collections, I decided to look up some of the old reviews for some of the early 2000s albums I loved just for fun and I came across a comment describing your band as a breath of fresh air and ingenuity in Melodic Death. Those comments were spot on and actually an underrating. Thank you guys, I will be getting all the albums you have put out previously for sure as you guys have definitely reinvigorated me to actively listen to you as well as catch up to all the albums that the bands I used to love have put out in the past 6+ years. Peace friends from a new fan. Im expecting big things from you guys onwards and I know you wont disappoint, lol you already gave me more than I expected upon my initial listens. Thanks!!

Bone chilling melodic touching music.... Please Be'lakor keep making this music I have never heard anything like this ever! And the fact that the lead singer George is a Greek to come up with such brilliant music is astonishing

Many of the bands I listen to has some iconic sound for where they're from. It's culture. I mostly listen to scandinavian bands, a few from western Europe and quite a few from Finland. Most of times you can hear where they're from. They I stumbled upon Be'lakor. I try to listen where a band is from before I decide to look them up on wiki or something, but oh boy Be'lakor was quite a hard nut(osmium nuts if I may say so). I love these forms of death growls. I can't handle the screaming ones. But I love the balance of the classical tone and the metal symphony. It adds a nice rhythm. Love the album artwork, too!
I wonder what comes first, the music or the lyrics? The storytelling in its narrative is very eloquent and captivating. The music is both very heavy and melodically mesmerising. Both are too well crafted to have to subordinate to the other. Yet, who has followed whom?
So I never quite got the ending. What happend to the people of the village between the youths department and return. He was gone for a year, no more, what could have wiped out his people completely? I want more Belakor stories :(

This music is touching the soul
It's obvious, most don't like metal screaming (including me). And, even though I heavily like this song, the vocals just destroy it.
@@rossobrink8097 its just a style that either you accept it and enjoy after a while or don't... :)
@@rossobrink8097 From that point of view, an opera singer is screaming as well. But in the end the only difference is the scale.
This couldn't have a better finale if it tried. What a legendary album closer!

You guys deserve giant funds to produce albums, damn!
Fifteen times the leaves had shorn
Trod by boy and beast
Kith and kin to fare him well
The youngling parted east
The rite was whet and worn with time
As sons dared risk unseen
Mere passage had convinced the herd
And none defied routine
Eyes, fixed afar, a trial to come
Now, his suffering, only begun
He journeyed deep into the woods
And took no drink or food
Desperate to become a man
'Fore stupor choked his mood
Carrion gloated at each step
In dreams the evil milled
Doubting every sickened thought
Depraved against his will
Eyes, turn inwards, observe with hate
Now, this suffering, will not abate
Growing weakness in his gait
He slumped beneath the sun
Each bleeding foot began to weep
Skin and bone was one
Rousing with a fitful gasp
He crawled on tattered knees
And bound for home by moon and star
His trial was complete
Staggers carried him to town
His joy was soon to shed
Kith and kin would greet him not
For each one was dead
The sixteenth leaves began to fall
Indifferent, they withstood
Now, a man with nothing left
He turned back for the woods
