I didn't catch anything.
There's no annoying guitar-driven faux blues-rock montage.
There are no bros high-fiving each other.
Instead, I show you my walk to a nice lake, I try out a(nother) new backpack, I talk about the spot I chose to fish and why I probably didn't catch any fish, I confess some of the bad gear practices I'm guilty of, I show you some carnivorous plants, and I stop at a woodpecker buffet.

I too, as a fly/tenkara angler prefer the small quaint bodies/pools of water. Much more peaceful and so much more than just landing a fish;) 🎣

I will float (ha!) the idea past him. After the gunshot video, I almost have him talked in to going to the firing range with me, so fishing might be a nice foray into the "gentleman sports" world for him ;)
